121  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / What are your expectations for this year? on: January 29, 2019, 04:35:07 PM
The year seems to be filled with uncertainties, looking at the rate at which the market is moving.
What are you expectations before the end of this year?
Will there still be some positive changes, despite the present situations of the market?
122  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: No Regrets in cryptocurrency on: January 28, 2019, 08:25:21 PM
Every challenge faced in life, even if it is accompanied with failure, it is always an opportunity to get better, which then to an eventual success.
I personal have made a lot of mistakes, which i believe has been of help to me today in the crypto space.
Cryptocurrency can be very interesting and one of the things that make it interesting, are the challenges we face.
123  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Do not be afraid of making mistakes on: January 28, 2019, 08:22:10 PM
You can try to avoid mistakes, but never be afraid of making one and neither should you be afraid of failure.
The fear of what will happen might be a limitation.
Cryptocurrency sometimes can be very complex and funny, most especially when you find yourself in a situation you have never been exposed to.
When the market is all good, mistakes are not easily detected, but when the situation of the market seems to be on a negative side, then fear sets in and sometimes, we become afraid of what may likely happen if we take a step further, to do what we have never been exposed to.
Even if you eventually fail, it is a stepping stone to become become better and achieving greater success.
124  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum Update on: January 28, 2019, 08:04:49 PM
The position of ethereum seems to be wavering, most especially with the tussle it is having with ripple.
If an update is released today, it might have a little or no impact, because what is expected now, is still inline with the hardfork.
Ever since it has been postponed, we have been seeing a downward trend, instead of a significant upward trend.
125  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it worth the work and waiting? on: January 27, 2019, 11:22:45 PM
If truly you believe in the project you are promoting and you are convinced enough that they are good, then your long wait will not be in vain.
If it is the other way round, then yo might need to opt out and go for a better one through research.
126  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoin for future on: January 27, 2019, 11:16:29 PM
The duration of time or how long you want to stay to get your profit, will determine how long you are to hold.
Presently, if anyone want short term profit, you can go for coins that are not top 100, but if it is the other way round, then reverse will be the case.
127  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Altcoins are the best..!! on: January 27, 2019, 11:11:44 PM
This is normal. Bitcoin was not designed for speedy transaction. As a matter of fact, it s has less than 10 tps, which is very slow.
So some altcoins have been modified for this purpose, which is why we can see some of them have as much as 1,500 tps.
128  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will cryptocurrencies be able to use for payment? on: January 26, 2019, 09:05:11 PM
I have seen an instance of a transaction, where someone paid for a building I'm currency and I was opportune to know a place where wears are sold in exchange for crypto currency.
I believe there are also other places where such is done.
In future, by the time there is more adoption, there will be more usage.
129  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Passive income from cryptocurrencies in 2019 on: January 26, 2019, 08:53:08 PM
Projects with proof of stakes, POS, will soon be in vogue.
There are so many  investors that are looking for this opportunity, but not all coins can offer good passive income. Before you know it, some of them will just dump and it would have been better for you to have sold them.
If the project is backed by law or regulations, then that might be a good one.
130  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Warnings for token hodlers on: January 26, 2019, 08:49:18 PM
It is not just enough to sound the warning, but for  people to also yield to warnings, because there are some that will still repeat the mistake.
An investment without initial proper research might lead to loss if care is not taken.
I will sell what i need to sell and buy that I need to buy.
How do I know that?
Through research.
131  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto is not a get rich quick scheme on: January 23, 2019, 08:58:16 PM
Sometimes, what we come across or meet in some situations of life, might not be what we prepared for.
In a case where a person who comes to invest in a coin, is expecting to cashout some profits in the next few months, but almost a year is gone, he is still at loss.
Whoever will make it in this crypto space must be ready to learn and know some facts.
132  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Good ICOs should be protected from dump on: January 23, 2019, 08:54:53 PM
I have come to the understanding that, no matter what is done, there are coins and in fact almost every coin will first dump at their initial listing.
Nonetheless, some certain coins will still rise, but it depend on so many factors. If those factors are not fulfilled, such as an active developmental process or a product that is already in use, which will bring value to the coin, the coin might continue to dump.
133  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Panic selling! Yes or No? on: January 23, 2019, 08:51:29 PM
The market has been undulating for quite some time now with its up and down. Just because of that, some people are afraid of holding, not on shit coins, but also those with good prospects and the already established coins.
With this, there will come a time soon when the only set of coins that will survive are those with good development and constant updates.
134  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICOs completed in the first half of January have raised around $160 million. on: January 23, 2019, 06:48:07 PM
This is truly evident of some  projects that I have seen.
Most of those raising funds are genuine and trusted projects. One of the projects is Hara.
This paticular project was able to reach its hardcap within 48 hrs of lunch. This is amazing right?
It is long I have personal seen such happened.
135  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto's worst nightmare on: January 23, 2019, 06:12:15 PM
The year 2018 was completely the crypto's worst nightmare, it's really been full of ups and downs. But in spite of the bear market, there's is Dapp.com who still made it. In fact, they contributed $6.7B throughout 2018. You may be interested to check their Dapp Market Report, such awesome!

On checking the links provided, the first did not work, but the second which worked gave a comprehensive report of the Dapp market. Perhaps you nerd to check that first again.
Then as regards you saying 2018 is the worst nightmare in the crypto space. Well that might be for those who lack experience in trading and investment and are not ready to learn how it works.
136  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should ICOs be regulated on: January 21, 2019, 10:53:22 PM
Right from the onset, there supposed to have been a body that foresees the activities of ICOs.
Although, there might still have been some lapses, but it will be to the barest minimum.
Regulating ICOs is what is most needed, because of the increased number scam projects.
137  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The cheapest Altcoin. on: January 21, 2019, 10:48:24 PM
A coin might be very cheap and very much affordable, yet you might later not be able to sell it, because by the time other investors discover it cannot profit them, at that point, the volume begins to reduce, which might then lead you into selling at a very low price, compared to the amount it was bought.
138  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto TV Show on: January 21, 2019, 10:38:45 PM
Good thinking, which is a way of creating more awareness about crypto, most especially to those who know little or less abount it.
Mass adoption is the  area that ensures that a large population of investors, know about it.
Then the pros and cons of crypto also should be made known.
139  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Listing on exchanges has no effects anymore on: January 20, 2019, 11:22:46 PM
Most times, listing on new exchanges is meant to make a coin to grow. So immediately it is announced, buyers begin to sell high.
If the price of the coin does not increase, there will be more volume, by virtue of many buyers coming to purchase.
140  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: WHAT DO YOU LOOK AT WHEN EVALUATING A CRYPTO PROJECT on: January 20, 2019, 11:09:57 PM
For every project I analyze and that I choose to either invest in or participate in the bounty, the first thing I consider is the team.
No matter how new you might be in the crypto space, if you can be sure of the genuineness of the team, who must have knowledge on the project they are lunching and on block chain technology.
The team and advisors must have experience in their various fields, as related to block chain technology.
