121  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: INVEST BITCOIN!!! on: March 06, 2015, 12:10:58 PM
Pretty risky, basically gambling with your money.
you mean investing? if someone would invest bitcoin in mining hardware no one could scam them
I meant investing with bitcoins directly. With mining if you factor the increase of difficulty over time and also the time between order and delivery of the miner you see how you are basically scamming yourself of the prospective profit you might have. Would also not recommend.
well it would payoff after some years so basically youre not scamming yourself, also price could go back to 600 dollars or more

You are just talking speculation as no one can predict where it goes to.
Anyways, trying to gain something on it, instead of just sitting back and watching for price to increase ain't clever according to me.
122  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: One of Satoshi's BTC address on: March 06, 2015, 12:07:46 PM
Why do you think they're lost? because he hasn't moved them? he also hadn't signed onto any of his accounts for years, til the Dorian incident, but he resurfaced for a moment...

odds are he's still got control of those keys, he just hasn't saw fit to do anything with them...

I also don't know why people think that the moment those coins move, there'll be a panic... Satoshi's allowed to transact like the rest of us. And doubtless he knows that he can't just dump all his coins at once...

True.
But still, if it is proved to be Satoshi's address and he himself drops the price down being the inventor, then I think there might be some panic and some newer lows might be seen through people thinking that Satoshi is out of the game and is no more interested in his own coin.
It makes no sense. Satoshi spent a considerable amount of time developing Bitcoin and would probably not destroy Bitcoins especially after it became much more popular.

He surely have the controls over his bitcoin , he is Satoshi .
Why would someone , especially him , dump alot of BTC .

Did I say he would?
I just said that if he ever does, it would affect the value of Bitcoins a lot as most people are always watching his addresses and everything related to him.
123  Other / Off-topic / Re: Which BTC wallet are you using on: March 06, 2015, 12:02:01 PM
Blockchain is the one I have used till today, but I think a few days back, some of the BC addresses got hacked, so still can't trust their security.
Multibit has always been fine for me for some lightweight transactions.
124  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Send coins to wrong address on: March 06, 2015, 11:59:51 AM
Ok so here's the scenario. Basically I went to a Bitcoin atm and tried to withdraw bitcoins from my wallet. The atm gave me an address but at the end of the address it had "?amount=2.14". I stupidly deleted this from the end of the key that was given to me and sent the bitcoin. Now when I try to redeem the money the machine says error. Is there any hope I will get this money back? Please any ideas....I feel sooooo stupid.

If you meant that you withdrew your Bitcoins for Cash, did you get the Cash?
If it is so, I don't think there might be a problem as if you got the cash.
Instead, try contacting the developers and the ones who fixed it there.
125  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What can I do with a small amount of BTC? on: March 06, 2015, 11:55:16 AM
Just wait for the opportunity that will be coming, sell high, buy low back and sell high again.
Profit that way, profit won't be higher, but at least you won't lose them all of a sudden like one can in altcoins.
126  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Lost my wallet! on: March 06, 2015, 11:53:36 AM
You should have saved your Private Key instead of just the address and password, it should have saved you from all the mess you are stuck in.
127  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: INVEST BITCOIN!!! on: March 06, 2015, 11:51:44 AM
Investment needs a lot of research and research needs time.
There are many new sites being popped up, can't say you should invest in them, but if you see, you will find that many of them are genuine and if you are just headed towards gaining a small amount of BTC lately but for sure, then I think you should go with them. Just don't forget to go with the least risk listed in there.

Else, altcoin trading is another place but it needs careful attention to get into a coin which you might get pumped on.
128  Other / Meta / Re: "Satoshi" started Bitcointalk? on: March 06, 2015, 11:07:44 AM
You can overcome by using prepaid anonymous debit cards or similar anonymous services. If you think buying/paying with prepaid debit card is still easy to track, you can buy another prepaid debit card with the current one, buy another with it and so on. But yes, loop hole can be there but it is very hard to go through it.

Were you talking about Virtual Credit/Debit Cards?
I think their use is still traceable if someone uses it from their own IP address, except if they go for some VPN service to order it.

130  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is the rumor about the latest 50,000 BTC auction true? on: March 06, 2015, 08:31:13 AM
There seems to have a stab to either let everyone start panic buying.
Remember? Buy on rumors?
131  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC DOWN continue? Why? on: March 06, 2015, 08:22:37 AM
i think now bitcoin stable on 250-270.

That is what everyone is expecting I guess, stability.
Well, it's just normal as being rebounded towards downside is what needed to get the weaker hands out and then we will be back on track whilst a re-correction will take place and BTC will be more than $300.
132  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: March 06, 2015, 08:20:15 AM
Have watched many pages of this thread and what I concluded is,
The thread ain't getting what it is made for, it was for the tracking of price movement and what I saw disappointed me a lot as out of these 11k pages, I bet that >50% of them are just bullshit and trolls which aren't expected here, as some important contents for the betterment of knowledge of people watching this thread gets hidden due to this.
133  Economy / Speculation / Re: Happy Days Are Here Again, BTC UP, UP, UP ... on: March 06, 2015, 08:12:59 AM
I want to do the same but my BTC are in a cold wallet and don't want to get them out of it.  Grin

Wait, hold, don't sell unless you think it's the peak, then buy low again, repeat the whole process again, profit... Wink
134  Economy / Speculation / Re: I Need Your Opinion On My Bitcoin Price Analysis on: March 06, 2015, 08:01:01 AM
The thing you should always remember:
Never try to go for different people's opinions if you are to do any analysis of the markets, as you are likely to get different flavors in their opinions and I don't think you might come to a conclusion with that.

P.S.: I am bullish on Bitcoins as the selling side seems a bit thew-less.

Alert!!! Auction Again!!! What do you think?

nothing. i dont care.

Awww... Don't be that rude to us, Mr. LiteCoinGuy... Tongue
Anyways, if you can post your opinion, it would be better than showing off like you actually don't care. This is what this thread is for, opinions!!!
136  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do You Know Andrei Svintsov? on: March 05, 2015, 03:09:10 PM
He should at least learn to watch the names of makers behind Bitcoin.
It's SATOSHI NAKAMOTO, does he think he's an American?
The guy seriously needs some medication as he doesn't know that there are not just the terrorists (if any) who are using BTC, but we are also there using BTC but not for so-called terrorism purposes, and many are living on Bitcoins. So, BTC ain't for terrorists, and the inventor of BTC ain't an American. Wink
I don't understand are you implying that he isn't American based off his name? Because most like Satoshi Nakamoto is truly from Britain.

There were a few evidences which can at the least prove that SATOSHI NAKAMOTO himself ain't an American. The guy, as the OP said, is just trying to spark up some kind of word war (mind well, I said Word War and not World War) between Russia and USA which isn't a good thing.
137  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Alert!!! Auction Again!!! What do you think? on: March 05, 2015, 02:57:58 PM
From what happened in previous auctions, bitcoin price will go down.

True, I am also expecting that.
But I think it might be seen as a correction instead taking it as a dump.
In fact, in this showdown, the winner will take the pot consisting of the small antes and the bets. Wink
138  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why are there so many Bitcoin news sites? on: March 05, 2015, 02:30:13 PM
What is making you think these sites are just making profit which is limited to themselves?
There are article writers who are getting paid in Bitcoins and if you think you are eligible to write, either open up a news site yourself or write articles for any of these and get paid in BTC. Instead of asking, you should take these as alternatives to either read or write there.
139  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Affiliates and Advertising Network paying in bitcoin on: March 05, 2015, 02:17:15 PM
Hi,

We are launching new ad network called RunCPA - check it out. We have payouts in bitcoin and lot's of bitcoin/crypto related offers. So you might be interested.

It would be awesome and good luck for your efforts as you guys might get the best exposure being the first to accept and pay in BTC for affiliate services.
Will be looking forward to the products that will be allowed to promote as I am an affiliate too.
Anyways, you guys should have something next to ClickBank for this to be very much successful as expected.
140  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Alert!!! Auction Again!!! What do you think? on: March 05, 2015, 02:14:40 PM
It's the last one isn't it? That makes it somewhat special, the market is free afterwards from the threat of the Feds dumping their coins to drop the price again!
I have a feeling some good entrepreneurs will be involved this time, there is some momentum behind BTC at the moment, not that the price would tell you that!

Still, after watching the exchanges and the decrease in sell-offs the last few days, yes, I too believe that there might happen something very surprising what we haven't expected from this auction thing.
