122  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Top 5 Ways to Earn Crypto While You Sleep on: November 28, 2019, 03:42:53 PM
Long story short, the market will make money for us while we sleep but the trader should be experienced because of the expected up-downs of market price fluctuations. The old wise man always repeated not to work for the money, let the money work for you. I am really far from this point due to the average market knowledge and a small budget.
123  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Upbit exchange was hacked. 342,000 ETH lost on: November 27, 2019, 03:44:55 PM
I was surprised, the exact exchange was in Korea, hacks often occur. there may be something special or weakness so hackers aim at the Korean crypto market, really bad news for the crypto market. if the amount is sold in an instant this will greatly affect the price of ethereum. for investors or holders don't panic. the hacker will not sell immediately, need to think twice, because the address can be traced. and for Upbit exchange users, please don't panic, the exchange has promised to return the assets you have.
hacking will indeed continue to exist because a system is not completely safe. this is really bad news for exchange users and also other crypto users especially eth users. as you said, and the possibility of panic sell can occur
OMG, I can't imagine a new pullback on the crypto charts after the bad news series. The chain of negative news strictly affect the bear market, I don't think the recovery attempts by Upbit will be the reason for price recovery.  The security of crypto assets has to be at the high level but the exchange didn't use the cold storage, it looks like.
124  Economy / Speculation / Re: Wall Observer BTC/USD - Bitcoin price movement tracking & discussion on: November 27, 2019, 03:12:54 PM
Bitcoin explosion is in the air.

The volumes at Bakkt are broken almost daily. If we assume that the volume on a coin market cap is 90% fake and Bakkt represents true volumes, then Bakkt is now more than 1 percent of the total volume on market cap. Here Bakkt comes to the point that they need so many bitcoins that there will be a shortage on the market. It is only a quarter to two in the afternoon and the trade in America has yet to start and Bakkt is already at 10 million volume. Today or tomorrow, Bakkt will cover the 25 million bitcoins. That is equal to 1 / 8000th part. Enough to make the market explode. I expect the bitcoin to be at $ 25,000 within a month. Then another 50,000.
Now maybe. the moment to buy in

A friend just send me this true what’s app from one or other Belgian link, I don’t know (can’t provide) the true source, but what you thinking about this??

#hopium.....
I hope the BAKKT demand will be the flash effect on the spot crypto market, the provided information is important for the market makers. For covering the 25 million bitcoins from the current price, I expect a huge push in the BTC price. In a month, we will know the reason for exploding if it ever happens.
125  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What do you think of ETH Price will be by end of 2020? on: November 27, 2019, 02:38:32 PM
Everything depends on BTC and its dominance. Hardly doubt that ETH is able to reach 1k USD, while BTC dominance would be around 60-70 percent. Crypto market needs a hard push, so ETH will have space for price increase.
The altcoins have the potential to make a new higher high point on charts without the higher BTC price, in my opinion. The dominance of Bitcoin is the good point here but I doubt the dominance falls under the %60 in the next year. The price of ETH will go to $700 if the bull market happens due to the good news(halving).
126  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bull Run is coming! on: November 27, 2019, 01:51:19 PM
its just news i dont believe news anymore but you can listen it for make some decision maybe.
since i always get fooled by news and never accurate i stop to believe them, it might be some trap to catch little fish by the whale.
who knows, its really news or already manipulated by somebody.

Don't trust the news, trust the product. For daily trading you need to be informed and to try to make good trades based on that, but for long run you don't need news, you can invest and hold for years, its best to forget about some coins, and to open that wallet in several years. Bull run will come eventually, there are no dates, it can happen anytime next year, or maybe the one after next year. If I would have to make some bets I would bet on 2021 and later, but its just my wild guessing.
Investing based on the news is dangerous and the result can be a headache for the investor. If the trader wants to scalp in the daily market movements, having a separate screen for following the news, updates and another monitor for trading the day trades with various price indicators are required from my understanding. The bull market will come one day, that day can be next year or 1 week later too.
127  Economy / Exchanges / Re: LATOKEN locked my account with strange rules. on: November 27, 2019, 01:16:22 PM
Finally after I protested continuously my account was unlocked.
I will withdraw all my assets and leave Latoken.
Thank you to all members who gave  positive suggestions.
Which evidences do they show during the account unlock process?  It is interesting to be blamed why the trader manipulate the order book if there are a lot of trading bots around the altcoin trades in exchanges. Did the management ask the newe KYC with different documents requirements? Last time Y exchange asked me to pass the KYC with the stupid questions like which exchanges do you use or Are you ever blocked by the global exchanges? lol
128  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Long term hodl ! What a joke on: November 26, 2019, 01:59:10 PM
Be a smart investor and invest in the promising projects, taking a losing small trades are stressful in the bear market. Long term HODLers usually have patience and a good amount of money for investing in the top altcoins. Making an investment decision with the additional skills like money management, risk/reward ratio should be combined with the legit project research.
129  Economy / Exchanges / Re: LATOKEN locked my account with strange rules. on: November 26, 2019, 10:08:51 AM
Blocking the exchange account due to the scalping? Come on, something is not right here, Latoken is not a big exchange and I don't trade there regularly but trading based on the order book activity should be categorized as a manipulation. If you have a big amount of specific token and put the sell order with the cheapest ask, later you place a high bid price, this is called a manipulation. You didn't describe the issue but I guess it is a similar case that I wrote here.
130  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: great projects to get in while the price is low -- low supply projects only on: November 25, 2019, 02:15:44 PM
this project are great to invest before they get mainstream and only low supply projects as i already explained million times why people should stay away from huge supply projects because they will never hit nice price per coin

This doesn't make any sense. If you would replace this with low marketcap i would understand but this is just false information. Only thing that matters is how much % of the circulating and total supply you are buying. A $ worth of single "full" coin doesn't matter at all. If you think otherwise you shouldn't invest in the first place because it doesn't seem like you know what you are even doing.

I don't want do sound harsh but your whole topic is just misleading people so i will speak out.

If the OP can look at the investment amount in terms of X percentage of circulating supply, then he will understand your concerns. The low supply altcoin has a better return on the investment and new investors look for the quick gains, that is why the small marketcap altcoins are the first noise of upcoming bull run, in my humble opinion.
131  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Cryptocurrency market continues to blood shed on: November 24, 2019, 02:57:41 PM
The market is on reverse right now. The red hours are over and the green has already taken over the market. Not yet fully recovering though. The red was rather deep and the effects that it caused to the altcoins and Bitcoin were awful. But at least the red lines are now broken. We now hope that this green will continue to higher grounds and recover the losses that happened a day before.
In order for the market to recover, a lot of new capital is needed because most of the old investors are feeling desperate at this time and they can easily panic sell if the psychology is not good. In my opinion the red color will last for at least another 2 years and you should accept this fact. For now, don't expect too much of the crypto market and wait patiently for another period.

That's why people are saying capital for crypto investment are must not from money that you will needed because they will panic and sell their assets with loss when they experienced big drop like this. I'm sure the price will recover but not in near future, if they can hold a little bit longer (only for bitcoin) i'm sure they will take the good result with profits because the potential growth of bitcoin in the upcoming years are big.

No I don't think old investors succumb to panic anymore. What's going on right now is part of a process that just repeats itself over time. We've already hit sub 4k bridging the end of 2018 and the start o this year. I don't think we should be afraid of a 7 or 6k dump. The market recovers whether you believe it or not and it has proven that it does in the past. A bloody market just gives you a chance to consider adding some bits to your stash.
The panic selling continues and it adds more problems to the existing troubles, counting the consequences will not solve the problems, we need to reach the reasons behind the altcoin dump. The general overview of crypto traders will show the reasons for the dump which gets stronger with low BTC prices. Market revocery will take a few more years and 2021 can be a year of alt season, in my personal market view.

133  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is now the right time to buy altcoin? on: November 22, 2019, 03:42:35 PM
The prices are still going down after the latest bull run in which BTC crossed 11k. You can start accumulating altcoins of your choice from current price down word. Its recommended to buy when market is sleeping.
The best time to invest is when the market is going down but make sure that you are investing in the right coins if not your will end up in a long hold, bitcoin and the rest of the markets went down drastically in the past few trading days and the support is well below $7k and it is still possible that the market will go down further but there is nothing to panic and invest in the right time and wait for a couple of years to reap the profits rather than looking for short term. When you are looking for alt coins make sure you invest in the top coins that will have an impact when the price of bitcoin rallies.
For avoiding the short market price movements, having an investment plan for the long term is good preparation. Preparing the investment portfolio is hard for the inexperienced investors but professional investors have the minimum requirements for targeting the big return on the investment rates. The profit will flow towards those portfolios who have a long term vision in the crypto markets.
134  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: CoinMarketCap Continues Listing Exchanges With Fake Trading Volume on: November 22, 2019, 02:47:52 PM
This is another lesson for everyone who assumes the trading volume just by looking at the coinmarketcap sites, we have to enter into the exchanges and see the actual trading is happening or not even bot orders maybe identified if we closely watch them. Coinmarketcap is here for money so we can't blame them as well we need to be aware of these things in future and try to avoid exchanges with fake volumes.

that is the best way to do if we are skeptical about the data that we see on cmc but sometimes people are just lazy to do a manual check up for every exchange that they want to use but instead they only use cmc to check the data that they wanted to know and they blame cmc if there are questionable volume that they think not right.  anyway there are many alternative to cmc and we can also try those others , let see if they are better in providing info's than cmc or not
Any crypto tracking website is not 100% accurate and also they have different criteria to list an exchange and coin but comparing might give an idea if the site is manipulating the volume or prices but if exchange itself doing manipulation then it may not be found by comparing so manual analysis will be the best way.
I doubt the CMC has a speculative interest to show the higher volumes for the precise altcoin pair, the exchanges should use wash trading for increasing the volume. The API is used for measuring the volume which determined with the numbers based on the order book,  fake trading volume is trap fro attracting pump-dump traders, in my opinion.
135  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoins prices are bleeding heavily on: November 22, 2019, 02:10:36 PM
if I think this is only a temporary decline, because I believe that next year the price of crypto will also increase again, seeing that its growth is now also starting to rise again.
Everyone knows that this bleeding is only temporary because in recent times the value of altcoins has received a lot of positives, for now, it needs to go down to create an accumulation. and a new play for the market. But the problem that most people are worried about is probably the temporary here is not clear, we don't know if this temporary state will start and end in weeks or months or even years, and this is really a period of crisis and fatigue that we need to overcome after a fun time
That doesn't true, if everyone knows its just temporary, they would not dump their holdings and just wait until the market will rise and sell when they see some profit. What I am seeing is that there's a major dump happening and this is surely because of people who panic and when they panic and dump, that means they don't believe that the price will rise again because they are afraid to hold.
The emotional trading is the worst form of making trades and having decent research before investing is essential like in trading. Mastering yourself can save the trader from the bad risk management and panic will go away if he can handle the trading without external factors. The temporary feelings shouldn't dominate in trading and dump of altcoins increases the level of emotional trading, obviously.
136  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: bounty is still potential on: November 21, 2019, 03:32:33 PM
I have no longer dare to take part in the ICO bounty, because my experience did not get paid properly from the ICO project this year, maybe for IEO bounty I still follow it and do the work, but I also do not know whether IEO project Which I follow this can pay worthily anyway. I just hope and pray that the project I follow can produce worthily, although is not a big result. Because we must know that this year there will be no project that pays as big as in 2017-2018.
Following the ICOs is unnecessary if you aim to join the bounty campaigns. The main problem is the delaying bounty payments which are promised to distribute before the token sale. They don't give the exact deadline and add extra weeks for getting the maximum gains from the bounty participants. This year was the worst due to the scam bounty campaigns and the delaying bounty rewards by the bounty managers.
137  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: BITCOIN BULL RUN TO START ON THURSDAY (11/21) AFTER DIFFICULTY ADJUSTMENT? on: November 20, 2019, 01:35:30 PM
"BITCOIN BULL RUN TO START ON THURSDAY (11/21) AFTER DIFFICULTY ADJUSTMENT"

https://bitcoinist.com/bitcoin-bull-run-to-start-on-thursday-after-difficulty-adjustment/

Do you think this is true?  Sure would feel like Christmas.
is it not too soon to announce this, if it happens tomorrow it will really stop the big players from buying cheap bitcoin, I just read the news a little bit makes sense so nothing is impossible for bitcoin to restart BULL RUN, but I think it's too fast if done at the end of this year
The main idea is to wait for the right time and the crypto whales a lot of experience in this market during such times. Buy the rumors and sell the news. If such a thing is going to happen, the market will price this news before we jump inside the charts. The bull market will not start with weak news, the tart sound should be something related to the big news like the support by big governments.
138  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are we all fools on believing the word "HOLD"? on: November 20, 2019, 11:37:48 AM
Hodlers still hold the useless altcoin but they don't want to choose the BTC due to the low return on the investment. I don't think the Atlant project worth to hold after they failed to make a working real product in the real estate world which is hard for all these type projects. If the choices are only altcoins for the crypto investor, taking the best ones from the list can save time for impatient investors. HODL is not for impatient people, it can take years for reaching the determined goal.
139  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Useless altcoins must remove from the whole crypto market on: November 19, 2019, 02:50:34 PM
They just create some kind of hype once or twice in a month or week and make their profit with fake exchanges and forget about it, I am talking about the developers of those kind of altcoins which are not performing and these are totally waste for crypto market and also creating confusion for new people who are entering in crypto world so what's your opinions. Useless altcoins must be remove from crypto market if it happens then it would be great and very beneficial for crypto world.
True, alot of exchangers are getting ugly because of that, create project/token and earn a hundred dollar and run, but dont mind them, lets just focus on the good altcoins than focuses on shitcoins, for sure alot of shitcoins will disappear and the best will survive.
indeed we should not care about shitcoin more, because it is better to focus on finding profitable altcoin. because if you are still focused on shitcoin a lot of time will be wasted, if you still hold shitcoin you should also forget it
Holding the shitcoin will not bring the profit in both short and long markets, the promising projects can take a lot of time for realizing the profit expectations but it is only a matter of time.  I respect the opinion of inexperienced investors because they have not seen the up-downs of the volatile crypto markets. If the skilled investors get squeezed in the crypto markets, the novice investors have the right to complain.
140  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Have you any new ideas to replace the KYC? on: November 18, 2019, 02:22:56 PM
The crypto market is decentralized, we live here as anonymous and free and we love it! But this KYC process is killing the anonymity of crypto! To invest in a good IEO you need to verify KYC, to do a good bounty project, you will have to go through KYC! But why? You guys are doing nothing with our KYC, then why you keep asking our identity? A selfie by holding my ID card, wtf! Did we ever ask you to verify your KYC when you launch a project/bounty?  Why you are not coming with another option where a freedom crypto member doesn't need to show his face?

Ok, guys, now my question to you, Have you any idea what can be good to replace the KYC method?

KYC with identity documents is difficult to replace because with identity documents, misuse can be minimized. Everyone who commits KYC certainly will not dare to commit crimes because their identities are known. If you want the cryptocurrency market to be regulated, I think KYC cannot be avoided so that the government can monitor the abuse of transactions
KYC probably use to prevent AML Anti Money Laundering that's why there is a need to identify if that person really exist or not. Since crypto can be used to do illegal I guess doing KYC seems the project is more legit since they allowed it because they might be registered in their government or In a SEC. As long as we know the process and the project been honest on what they need it and how they can keep our privacy then I'm fine with KYC
It is ok to share the documents for KYC&AML verification but the main concern of the crypto investors is the illegal use of personal documents in the dark web. I am fine to accept the KYC requirements, but it is very scary to see the flowing documents in the illegal sites. Scam projects can take the collected amount from the token sale and they will sell the investors data for passing the KYC on another site.
