121  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: p2pb2b exchange top 1? on: October 12, 2019, 09:06:25 AM

This image is the clearest evidence that P2PB2B cannot have a larger trading volume than Binance, although the traffic does not adequately reflect the volume of a trading, but one exchange has traffic access 10 times less than other exchange, it is not possible to equal trading volume.

It's notorious that most exchanges are faking volumes. Some are so obvious, just check the order book movements and compare to a big exchange like binance or bittrex where it's really fast.

A few months ago a report was produced by Bitwise about this - "Only ten exchanges have actual volume"
https://www.coindesk.com/fake-volume-on-crypto-exchanges-isnt-the-half-of-it

This site is similar to coinmarketcap and claims to track crypto without fake volume https://openmarketcap.com
122  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Libra partner drop out on: October 12, 2019, 02:27:48 AM
Visa, mastercard, ebay, paypal, drop out from libra..
will libra still continue ...? why one by one partner liba drop out.? https://twitter.com/coindesk/status/1182747730248118280?s=21
Libra since it's launch announcement, already face problem from some countries. Maybe if i have company like what OP mention above, i will stay out from it. It is better to avoid problem because that companies already big.

That's good, I hope to see Libra as a strong competitor of Visa and Mastercard before they get totally replaced. It forces governments to discuss cryptocurrencies, I believe that the balance is positive after all. Let Zuckerberg spend on lawyers and argue with them Grin I'm not a fan of centralized currencies, but I see them as an important part of the transition from fiat to crypto for the masses.
123  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Where do you stand on abortion? Let's have a civil debate. on: October 10, 2019, 04:17:26 PM
- Fetuses are not babies;

- Unwanted kids will have psychological problems;

- Force motherhood it's a kind of punishment, but only for women: they practiced the "terrible sin of sex"; There is something sadistic, really sick about it.

- People should take care of their own lives. Usually the same people who are against abortion support the death penalty and many are against universal health care. That's intriguing... they are pro-punishment, not pro-life.
124  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: how to earn free altcoin ?? on: October 10, 2019, 06:59:08 AM
most people have already mentioned bounties and airdrops, I would add these:

- Content platforms, such as publish0x and steemit.
- Apps for polls - Instar, Lumeos.
- Twitter giveaways - there are many giveaways of small values, from $5 to $50. Many fakes too, be careful to find the real ones. Check if they have posted previous winners.
125  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 5 Things Successful ICOs Have in Common. on: October 10, 2019, 06:48:50 AM

1. The project had an original idea and a sound business model.
2. The project had released a working product or may have already had an MVP right from the start.
3. The project had an active Github repository.
4. The development team are very capable in developing the product.
5. The team's identities are verifiable and publicly known.
6. The project have a realistic roadmap.
7. The team give utmost importance to their promises and perform deliverables in time.
8. The team are exercising enough transparency on project related matters.
9. The the project's tokenomics are excellent and justifiable.
10. The project have positive peer reviews among trustworthy members of the community.

Ooops! Btw, I forgot to include one of the most important characteristic which I think is critical for a project to become successful and that is the project team must have a very good financial planning! Because I believe that assuming those ten items listed previously are satisfied with, in the end, the project will still falter just like what happened to most  projects after the crypto winter of 2018. Imho.

true, I think that many icos were holding the eth they received at all time highs. It is rare to see a project with all these details resolved, unfortunately. And even an original idea needs to be well executed, many projects fail here. They need a MVP from the start and bring real users to test.

127  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Where To Spen Bitcoins? Full List. on: October 09, 2019, 01:22:53 AM
Mercado Libre / Mercado Livre is also accepting bitcoin now. For those who do not know, is a marketplace and auction site, similar to ebay, present throughout Latin America. http://mercadolibre.com/
128  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: More Bitcoin commercials coming!!! on: October 09, 2019, 01:01:23 AM
In my country, one of the biggest football clubs has taken a sponsorship from a cryptocurrency exchange. Now, the name of the exchange is being used with the name of the football club. We hear the bitcoin name every week on television. This is another example of bitcoin commercial and this will increase the mass adoption I think.

I believe that exchange advertising has not a big impact. Because they attract investors, but not the masses. Most likely to appeal to the general public are apps, games, marketplaces, options for real use cases of the coins.
129  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Popularity of BITCOIN on Twitter Declining? on: October 09, 2019, 12:58:21 AM
From the statement of Op if there is a large number of tweets being tagged with bitcoin as well cryptocurrencies then there is massive adoption happening all around. Right now as the tweets have decreased it means there is not much of adoption. These are just information sharing, but the reality is different. To experience the reality you need to take a survey with equal number of participants around the globe and Twitter is not the way to determine the adoption level of bitcoin.

Twitter is one of the most important crypto social network, it is relevant. But I guess those numbers were inflated by the ICO boom of 2017, with many bounties and bots working on it.
130  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin ETF this time? on: October 09, 2019, 12:47:22 AM
Another hype train for nothing in the making, I guess? ETFs have proven to be the most hyped thing in the bitcoin ecosystem yet literally adds in no weight or positive impact whatsoever in the whole scene. It will not get approved no matter how huge the public interest is, nor how hard the lobbyists work in order to get it done. IMO we don't need ETFs in the ecosystem. We already have established platforms that does the normal trading and other spicy stuff ETFs could offer (though in a somewhat different approach).

Agree. They give more possibilities to the whales to play complex strategies to make profits from a bleeding market. Could be more likely to bring the prices down.
131  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I am late. Is it okay if I just pray? on: October 08, 2019, 03:21:29 AM

Really I'm not any joking. I'm trying to trade, but it's way too hard to make any profit. So I'm trying to find the ways to pray.
I can imagine some ways like this:

A  (easy) Just remember and repeat a Mnemonic phrase for my wallet
B  (hard) Remember and repeat the whole private or public address of my wallet, like this one https://www.blockchain.com/btc/address/14apgEuAP6g8i7VAQeyXN7AipvxMy6wW9N (it's mine)
B2 (very easy) Make a QR-code and just watch it
C  (same hard) Remember and repeat Satoshi's address https://www.blockchain.com/btc/address/1A1zP1eP5QGefi2DMPTfTL5SLmv7DivfNa
D  (impossible) Repeat both
E  (easy) Read this article every day: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Satoshi_Nakamoto

Thank you very much, Pastor! I just tried and my portfolio went 10% up.

Is this the beginning of a new religion? Are we really started to see people praying to Satoshi? This is crazy!
What will happen in 10 years? Will we have people walking door to door asking if you want to talk about Satoshi the savior?

10 years? It's already happening!

I just hope newbies who come to this forum for the first time don't see this thread or they'll be out of here in minutes!
You need help OP, maybe have a drink, skip the prayer and go to bed early today.

Unfortunately, the unfaithful are already among us. Do not listen to them, congregation! May Satoshi have mercy of these poor souls.

132  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What is the most popular news websites. on: October 07, 2019, 11:15:32 PM
I personally use https://coinmarketcal.com for following the new (fundamentals) about the already launched projects out there to benefit from trading their news.
If you mean NEWS of the whole cryptoshpere i would recommend you:
1 - Coindesk
2 - CoinTelegraph
3 - Bitcoin.com
4 - Cryptovest
5 - CCN
6 - Bitcoinist
7 - Blockonomi
8 - Cryptoslate
9 - NewsBTC
10 - Invest In Blockchain

good list, I personally like Blockonomi and CoinTelegraph.

I would add these:

blokt https://blokt.com/
oracle times https://oracletimes.com/

and https://cryptocontrol.io is a good news aggregator with many different sources.

134  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: how do you identify a transparent project team? on: October 06, 2019, 09:11:03 AM
For anyone said that we have to check the team background, we should have do more research on them or even chat with them deeper about the project.
Because if you just see their CV or Portofolio at linked.in or other website, it can be faked. There are so many project's team with fake linked in portofolio out there so, be careful of choosing project to invest

That's true, need to check as many sources as possible, academic papers, participation in events, press citations to confirm identities and experience. Every team needs experienced developers, if they have only marketers it's a red flag.
135  Local / Economia & Mercado / Re: AnubisTrade - O primeiro e único robo de trade 100% gratuito BINANCE on: October 06, 2019, 06:53:18 AM

136  Local / Economia & Mercado / Re: AnubisTrade provou ser SCAM? on: October 06, 2019, 05:32:57 AM

138  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: HELP the dumb-dumb!! I sent TUSD to a USDT wallet, is there any hope?? on: October 02, 2019, 03:50:58 PM

Although the exchange clearly have the TUSD private keys, they don't support the token sent as can be seen below. Otherwise it would be accessible to the user.

I think all exchanges should be open to solve this kind of problem. Some services treat their users very badly using the excuse of "immutability". But wait, they are centralized. The blockchain should not become an excuse for dishonesty. If the problem is the fee, subtract from the value, it is better than leaving the user with nothing.
139  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Vaccinated vs. Unvaccinated: Guess who is Sicker? on: October 01, 2019, 06:12:09 PM
it's amazing how the internet has trained a new wave of scientists, economists, philosophers and historians. I think universities can be already eliminated. A lot of money is spent on this nonsense and all people need is some good conspiracy theories websites. And fox news. And the right emojis Cool
140  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Vaccinated vs. Unvaccinated: Guess who is Sicker? on: October 01, 2019, 06:00:54 AM
This website is known for its anti-vaccines propaganda, and so is OP.
Many of its crap articles have been debunked numerous times by real scientific websites.

yeah really makes you think.

This just shows how is easy to spread fake news full of jokes and incongruities. It does not matter, people will still strive to believe what they already believe and will yell at everyone else.
