In crypto speculation people win and people lose. Losses aren't materialized until you sell at loss. To avoid losing, don't try to sell FIMK at loss as it's futile at this stage gaining you a few bucks and losing your position which is potentially your ticket to the moon. Wait and sell when the price is something you like. The FIMK project for me personally isn't about crypto speculation. It's about bringing out a usable cryptocurrency and creating wealth for my countrymen. Reaching that goal is well in progress. See the hardships I'm personally enduring through with all the problems that only those having run large projects know about, and few believers around? I suggest you take heed and reinforce your positive belief. Whats going on with fimk?
FIMK is a long term project having its best days still to come! That's exactly that what Graviton said all the time... And Graviton is one of the biggest disappointments in den whole cc-world! Please make it much better then Graviton and don't loose your credibility. They have lost their credibility in finnish cryptocoin forums and are lack of any decent development. Finnish citizen does not know anything about this project and nor are there any participants in the "airdrop". Basically the project is merely alive. |

I think that NEMs huge problem is that it wasn't launched in November before the current BTC slaughter and all ongoing ALT slaughter. I know, you might tell how NEM wasn't ready, multisig wasn't ready etc.. and I agree with this, but I think huge opportunity has been passed. Crypto is in a big slump and it will take time for it to get out of this slump. Problem with NEM is that will be launched in the midst of the crypto storm crisis.
Look at NXT, they are constantly delivering but the price is plummeting and trust me, there is not even that many whales unloading at the moment. You might say how NXT is worst than NEM but I don't agree, feature wise it will take NEM a good year of development to catch up its bigger brother. I have read a prediction somewhere how in 2015, 80% of ALTs will loose 80% of value. I think this is exactly happening and keeping this in mind, NEM is just coming at the bad moment.
And just to add, this is why I am pissed by all the delays since my claimed stake is now stuck. In the crypto world, investment climate is changing very fast. What seemed good in October doesn't seem that good in February.
yes that pissed me a bit cause i felt that bitcoin would fall from 300 and sold my modest stash of bitcoins at that price. We know the rest it fell well below 200. I re-bought there and recover some of my "virtual loss" because of my NEM redeeming two weeks before. Doesn't mean i don't believe in Nem, i just FRIGGIN HATE being blocked and unecessarily bagholder when obvious moves are about to happen in crypto world to optimize my coin stash. Well i don't own much Nem because i smelt bitcoin blood back in december and played über safe but this redeeming blocked me well in my trading strategy Can't imagine for the guys who have several stakes redeemed looking at crypto being slaughtered and nem launch delayed to march april may etc...Would drive me mad, i'm not the long term kind cause i discovered you always get rape doing so cause crypto landscape is very lunatic. Never worked once for me to baghold in alt crypto world. NOT ONCE. It just never works, you have to follow the trends. It can work for NEM because it is first class crypto but always a risky bet to just sit and wait. In the end, being pegged with nxt and btc is just a pain in the as* Major dump after the launch would be a worst case scenario and Im arfraid that we´ll see that. Alts are taking huge hits and we are stuck with frozen stakes, although i believe in NEM i did not like lost value of my investments. |

If everybody test vigorously and there are no hiccups, I should say latest by Mid-March. So, the launch depends on these tests and feedback. Damn guys, I am not trying to be negative but this is really taking a while. I kind a regret claiming my stake, when I claimed my stake it was worth 3 BTC and about a 1000$, now it is worth 2,2 BTC and about 500$. I could have managed this money in other direction without loosing this much of value. Again, I admire a progress that you are making but this just hurts, this "deadliness" of my money! Yeah that pretty much sucks. Latest for mid-march??? WTF. No more freakin delays. |

I think later on when we get m of n multisig, I will make an offline private key. Then I will turn my main account with all my NEM into multi-sig and make it a 2 of 3 account. I will have my windows computer be one signer, my mac another signer, and then the third would be the offline private key. I seriously doubt any hacker will be able to compromise both my windows computer and my mac, so I can know my NEM will be safe. And in some weird situation where I lost the private key/wallet/password to either my Windows machine or my Mac, then I would be able to get the off line private key and recover the funds.
Then I will have a small hot wallet for spending, and if it needs to be recharged, then I will send from the big account in multi-sig to the small account that is a hot wallet.
Thats sounds promising, basically people can protect their investments and spending via this way. Hopefully devs will set the launch date soon  |

Any updates about Multisig?
Devs are working on it but ran into some performance problems. No ETA on next beta-release. Actually we've overcome most of them I think, but there are still few more things to fix (regarding multisig itself and nem on it's own). My guess is: No launch in February either, nor in March Tired of this ever lasting waiting. |

Regarding exchanges after launch: are there some plans to use NXT MGW as exchange? If multisig will be ready, I think we need get rid off centralized exchanges and add NEM to MGW.
You mean NEM MGW? It could be NEM MGW, of course. But there is working NXT MGW and I think 50% of Nemsters also using NXT. I prefer to work on behalf NEM MGW rather than stuck with NXT... People who already had used NXT could have bought NEM from NX AE. This time it should be the opposite way. |
