121  Economy / Exchanges / Re: YoBit seems wants to steal my money. Are they scammed? on: May 29, 2018, 12:35:27 PM
I have an unanswered support ticket with status "sent" since 06. May. Waiting patiently..

I honestly think a lot of these scamcusations against yobit are mostly undeserved.

Sure, there are wallet issues, stuck transactions, lag, slow support and more even but most exchanges has these issues in one way or another.

I mean, can anyone even give me a name of a crypto-service (of any sort) and guarantee that googling "service+scam" doesnt yield at least 5 results.

Keep calm, and stay positive OP Smiley

123  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Hero and Legendary Club waiting for your offers on: May 28, 2018, 09:18:11 PM

Are you in contact with these 5700 high-rank members?

I have a base of 5,700 high-ranking members

What would a "dialogue" be in this context?

You will receive all responses in real time by e-mail

Are you serious? I see you are still newbie but you say own data base of 5,700 high ranking members....How can? I don't understand a newbie like you can manage legendary and hero rank members of this forum with so many numbers....

I am very confused as to what this service is about exactly.. Consulting from high-ranking members? any of those wanna pop into thread and confirm they are part of this?

I suggest you try this on earn.com, or not at all. seems too weird Smiley I wish you luck though.
124  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Hero and Legendary Club waiting for your offers on: May 28, 2018, 10:25:01 AM
Every Hero and Legendary will read your offer in this forum.

There are 5700 Heroes and Legendary members in the database who are ready to help your project, take part in the Bounty, evaluate, answer questions, buy or invest in your project.

The price is $ 1 per 1 dialogue. The minimum order is 200 contacts. The price is 75 cents, per 1000 dialogs, the price is 40 cents for dialogue to communicate with the whole base.

You can write pm or email egorusx1989@mail.ru

What?

I thought those Heroes and Legendaries were already reading the forum?

This is a very puzzling service. Are you in contact with these 5700 high-rank members?

What would a "dialogue" be in this context? and is the price 1$ or 40 cent for a dialogue? you say both things.

The FBI just issued a VPNFilter malware warning saying, “Reboot your routers now!”

But why? And will it help?

126  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] 🚀🚀 Bitcoinfuck's Bitcoin & Altcoins Mixing & Tumbling Service 🚀🚀 on: May 26, 2018, 02:41:06 PM
--snipped--

discount is for all and that is 5$ off, so you will get discount too.
all, i am saying you get 1% fees, its not free for anybody, whether it be you or a legendary user.

If you give a discount of 5 dollars for a review in this thread, and your fee is fixed 1% of mixed amount then as long as i mix for less than 500 USD, and leave a review, it's either free or negative (you owe me)

Example:

I mix 50 USD worth of bitcoin with your service.

I receive back 50 USD in bitcoin minus 1% fee (fee: 0.5 USD) which is 49.5 USD worth of bitcoin.

I leave a review and get 5 USD off the fee.

So 0.5 USD (fee) minus 5 USD for the review equals -4.95 USD.

Similarly if i mix 500 USD worth of bitcoin and leave a review it would be 5 USD (your fee) minus 5 USD (review discount) = 0, free mixing of 500 USD worth of bitcoin.

If you are serious about your service, you should really specify your terms&conditions. Users might interpret it in a way that you do not, and end up feeling cheated by you which could cause negative feedback, just from a misunderstanding. Would be sad. Smiley
127  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Cryptopia Cryptocurrency Platform Services and Development on: May 26, 2018, 02:30:03 PM
I really wish they would add ETH as another quote market, maybe instead of NZDT markets..

I doubt they will remove the NZDT market - hopefully they can get the fiat deposit and withdrawal through the banking system going again. (Sort out the KYC issues with their banking partner). Banks are making it hard for Crypto.

Cryptopia is not a fan of ETH. It has cause them a lot of problems in the past. They opposed the DOA fork so while ETC remained listed it took a lot of lobbying to get ETH re-instated on the exchange. (I know this because I was one of the people lobbying for it to be listed).

I suspect that they will be focusing on scaling issues and upgrades before any more base-markets will be added.

It is only recently that they started to get on top of their support delays and I think their focus will be on improving that.
I was not aware of their history with ETH. Some day perhaps..

Cryptopia is definitely my pick for an under-dog exchange in todays markets. Binance and Kucoin? To hell with them and their forced trade precisions! Smiley

--snip--
regarding you account, i don't think much of users will trust your  review, they will think that i paid you to do it.
--snip--

So the discount only applies if people trust the review?

I assume you will be the judge of whether that's the case or not?

Maybe mention something about that.

"Only [insert rank/trust w/e] are eligible for writing a review and receive discount"

I am not interested in using your service. Alternatives exist, some even reputable companies.

I'll spare your thread of the mentions.
129  Economy / Services / Re: Online Poker Tournament Backing - (1st TOURNAMENT TONIGHT AT 12:00EST) on: May 26, 2018, 12:26:58 PM
Yes, better move this to appropriate section, or maybe make it a service? If you really are good at poker and can turn a profit in the long run then you could offer it as a service.

Still, the backing you seek is quite small (and so are prize pools) so i doubt people will be interested in backing this. Especially considering they have to trust you entirely to hold your end of the deal.

Maybe also share all the details?

What site you playing on?
what is your nick ?
any stats/previous results you can share and verify?

You seek funding in BTC, but i assume poker tourneys are USD buy-in and USD prizes so you would buy BTC for the tourney profit (if any) and send that or how exactly?

If you find an e-scrow that will hold the backers BTC till you either verify that you finished out of the bubble or you send the share of profits to backer. I realize that then you have to fund the buy-in yourself anyways, but if the issue is that you can't find ~50 bucks then i imagine there are other reasons someone should be vigilant about using e-scrow.

Lastly, i wanna suggest you try sites like https://youstake.com/ (Not sure if you are eligible for that particular one, but their are others more "loose" sites of the sort.
130  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Ideas for Bitcointalk related articles on: May 25, 2018, 12:14:17 PM
I am interested in doing more stories about significant scams here. Perhaps some of the biggest scams that happened here?
Already did something similar when I mentioned Dankbank (if anyone remembers that) in this article: Lending in the early days of Bitcoin

I remember seeing someone who had taken loan(s) here on Bitcointalk using fake ethereum tokens as collateral. I remember being very puzzled at how this was possible so maybe it would be a good article?

The collateral was TGT (Targetcoin) except they were fakes created with same ticker. I believe the scammer also sent them to lenders real TGT address and they showed as invalid after a while, or something of the sort.

I was so shocked at how sophisticated this scam seemed, yet i felt it was easy to do since duplicate ticker symbols is possible.

Pretty sure scammer succeeded at one lender, at least. Can't remember names/threads sorry Smiley
131  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Cryptopia Cryptocurrency Platform Services and Development on: May 25, 2018, 11:56:43 AM
is anyone else having issues with eth withdrawals at cryptopia? i made an eth withdrawal request yesterday and up to this time it's still posted as "processing" in my withdrawal log #4152125

hope all is well and the system issues have all been addressed nicely
I also made an ETH withdraw sometime yesterday only and it went out just fine.

That was my last money I entrusted with cryptopia and I am glad that I have taken it out of the shady exchange. I won't be going back to the exchange for trading or for whatsoever purpose.

My money left fine as well. Lucky. Im with you, using this exchange is just a constant headache. You shouldn't have to worry about your money. I dont with Binance, Trex and Kraken. In the slightest. Goes to show you that quality service is available. No idea why Cryptopia is so bad at it. Well I do, just cant prove it.

Mine was resolved after reaching out to support. They said that my request "failed to broadcast" and so i got an eth refund. Sent my eth again early this morning and it's now in my destination wallet.

I've been an active cryptopia user and issues I've had with them thus far have been resolved. After closing tickets, there's a satisfaction survey to fill out so I suppose they want to reach out and find out how users feel about their service and the intervention they've provided. I think they're taking steps to build back trust.

I agree, Cryptopia really seems like they are in it for the long-run despite some setbacks previously. I truly have my hopes up for many, many years of trading on cryptopias exchange platform.

I really wish they would add ETH as another quote market, maybe instead of NZDT markets..
132  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Let's form a bounty management team interested in representing bounty hunters on: May 25, 2018, 11:47:42 AM
The thing is, you have no control over how someone runs an ICO.

Even if a considerable number of 'hunters' were boycutting an ICO and they felt they had to give away for your demands, i think the ETH value would just go to maybe 25 usd, instead of maybe 70usd in tokens (at ICO prices)

They know that they get a nice discount using tokens that almost always dump up to, and shortly after, being listed on exchange.

I think you have to accept that most ICO's will give you their tokens, and maybe still make this group? I'd love to not having to scan threads for campaigns.

If you have a bounter-hunter group sharing the most trusted icos fast, and easily with fellow hunters while discussing shady ones.

I see the value of this. Smiley
133  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Ideas for Bitcointalk related articles on: May 25, 2018, 11:31:55 AM
I recently explained to a friend where the Hodl meme came from. Surely there are other such situations that happened before my time? Maybe you could cover some of these. Many people use 'Hodl' without realizing its rather fun origin story Smiley

After all, this is a huge, and very vibrant, community and has been for long.

Maybe you could write about non-profit initiatives and their community-building effects? I'd bet 95% of services in bitcointalk threads will cost you money, what's special about the ones that wont? free escrowers, tx accelerators etc..

Just some ideas, hope you like them!

Will definitely give your steemit profile a read sometime Smiley
134  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Usage of Signature campaign promotion on this forum. on: May 25, 2018, 11:24:48 AM
directbet was a huge success that also used signature campaign to advertise in bitcointalk unfortunately they were no longer operating not because they were bankrupt but rather they focus on different project that avert their time to maintain the gambling service thus decided to abandoned it passionately.

Oh, how I miss Directbet. The simplicty and loyal system was a godsent in this crypto-betting market Smiley

Signature campaigns really is effective I believe, as long as your project can be of interest to bitcointalkers, you'll get plenty conversion here i think.
135  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] 🚀🚀 Bitcoinfuck's Bitcoin & Altcoins Mixing & Tumbling Service 🚀🚀 on: May 24, 2018, 10:09:48 AM
service functional now

How can I trust that you will send the mixed funds at all? Perhaps you should e-scrow the mixed funds, and let them release funds when you receive the payment.

If your fee is 1% fixed and you give 5$ off for a review in this thread, then i can mix 500$ of x currency, leave a review, and not have to pay any fee to you. I assume one review per user but still, i could make new accounts or find others to do it for me.

Still trust is a big issue I imagine.

Best of luck with the service Wink
136  Economy / Services / Re: Anyone looking for Payment Service Provider? High risk Merchant on: May 24, 2018, 09:15:51 AM
Do you offer traditional payment services only?

Like CC, PP etc, or also Bitcoin / other crypto payments?
137  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Cryptopia trading simulator development on: May 24, 2018, 09:10:13 AM
Very interesting project.

If you had a simulator module supporting multiple exchanges, then I definitely see the use-cases.

The thing i hate most about making trading bots is the fact that you have to write the logic, and then test that logic thoroughly with real-money trades. I believe it was Binance that had a test_trade call that would validate your params and not execute trade.

Also a very helpful tool for beginners who want to dip their toes i crypto-trading.

I hope you will get plenty support and users for your module Alal! Smiley

Can load the page now.

I am a little puzzled by the "captcha threads" part.

Im used to a rate per captcha solved.

How many captchas can 5 "captcha threads" handle in, say, 1 week?

How long a thread take to solve a captcha averagely?
139  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Looking for trading bot developer. "master slave bot" on: May 23, 2018, 09:47:26 AM
Hey man, 1 PM per hour as newbie apparently Cheesy

I got a good understanding of what you want to achieve from your PM and this should definitely be achievable.

Got any suggestions to a channel for communication, or are you fine with discussing details in this thread ?

Otherwise i'll get back to you in 45ish minutes haha.

140  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Looking for trading bot developer. "master slave bot" on: May 23, 2018, 09:16:44 AM
sorry i was not aware of that.

I dont think many people are Wink

no. not fancy, at least its working.

Then I can definitely help you out, and cheap since it should be fairly simple.
