These are indeed mistakes that people can make in trading. Some persons chose some trading options even without fully understanding the parameters of that option chosen. That is why they end up loosing when anticipating to make profit.

It is true that most of the precious stones including silver and gold are loosing ground due to cryptocurrencies. This is because the cryptocurrency although very risky, also yields a very high quick return on investment.

The governments are not really scared of Bitcoin. Their main concern is the fact that some people may be exploited as a result of the cryptocurrency system. The banks on the other hand are scared that people will no longer depend on them with the emergence of Bitcoin and cryptocurrency.

Successful currencies meet three criteria:
(1) they are in widespread use as medium of exchange (2) they serve as unit of account (3) they are a stable store of value.
Most sovereign currencies fully meet all three criteria.
What ...............,,,,,about Bitcoin? [lllL/quote] Bitcoin meets some of these criteria. It can serve as a store of value effectively as well as medium of exchange. But in the aspect of serving as a unit of account, Bitcoin might not fit into that category. It cannot be used as a legal tender.

I don't even want to think about it. No point even imagining it. It will be disastrous. The entire market will be thrown into a sort of confusion. What would be the new benchmark or reference? The entire market may just collapse. let's hope it never happens.

Is bounty programs impacting negatively or positively to the success of icos?
There is no doubt whatsoever that bounties have a great positive impacts on ICOs. Without the bounties, the project may never be able to reach much places or get good awareness and community. Bounty is just like a paid advertisement.

Why the postponement again? I thought it was supposed to be this August. More suspense continues. I hope the final decision will be in Bitcoin's favour. If Bitcoin gets to be listed as other normal tradeable commodities on stock exchanges, it will be a great news. The price will definitely moon.

Bitcoin has not yet fully reached its goal. Bitcoin was created to be a global currency. A currency that will be used and accepted by all and sundry. Till date, a lot of people still have reservations and doubt about bitcoin. Therefore, its goal is yet to be achieved.

Thanks for this warning. I have never at anytime wished anyone to do KYC. I have participated in ICOs without KYC and they were successful. Some of the so called KYC are just mere scam. It is not necessary in crypto.

I actually read the article. It is quite informative although did not clearly state the advantages and disadvantages the way I thought. Simply learn to protect your coins and tokens. Chose the right exchange that suit your need.

As I have noticed these days, when the ICO hasnt finished yet and the sale was still on going, the bounty tokens has already been distributed and also unlocked they sell it immediately on forkdelta or etherdelta for a much lower that ICO price, in which it could greatly disturb the sales in tokens. As for you the investor on that token, would you panic when you see that the tokens you own already selling at much lower price?
Of course panic is possible in this kind of scenario. I don't think anyone would like such a thing because such attitude most times lead to dumping of the coin by the developers too. A coin is not suppose to trade until the ICO is finished. Everyone should be given a fair chance of the trading.

Economics is supposed to be the concern of everyone. There is nothing we do today that does not involve economics and for you to truly understand how it works, you may need a formal education in it or at least some courses in it to help broaden your horizon.

A lot of posts are about bitcoin (eg bitcoin for illegal transactions ... bitcoins change lives ... bitcoin destroys the world ... bitcoin poison and so on) but basically it's all humans that move .. bitcoin is the tool. Good bad how the tool is how the man who runs. is it worth blaming bitcoin. What is your opinion?
The success of Bitcoin depends on all of us. We must stop the hate discussions about it. People will always criticize it, but it is left to us to explain to them how it truly works. Let them know both the advantages and disadvantages of bitcoin just as it is with every other thing.

i have some bitcoins with me..any tips to invest them...dont want to spend them...should i invest in some ICO ??
I think you may have to divert some into investing in good ICOs. But it is usually preferred you bring in fresh cash investment into the market, but since you already have BTC, then use a part of it for further investment in crypto.

First, don't pick offense with the person's statement. Be polite in disagreeing with the person. Afterwards, start giving the person counter reasons why Bitcoin is legal. Make him see the several advantages of Bitcoin and a decentralized currency.

I think this may be possible someday, not just in South East Asia, but the entire continent of Asia. I think Thailand have legalized it. The South Koreans are no longer strict with it as it used to be. Their body language suggests they even support the technology now.

There are quite some other good investment options other than cryptocurrency. As for me, I so much love investment in landed properties as well as transportation. I hope to one day achieve this.
