I have a hard time understanding this. Bitshares wants me to give them my real USD for their bitUSD?
How about they give me their real USD for some of my SomethingElseUSD? I'll be more than happy to put it on an exchange and I promise I will always pay anyone back when they want.
Yes, I am trolling a bit here. But I really don't get it. What's the point?
BitUSD is pegged to the dollar. Means no volatility (other than USD inflation). It's only a matter of time that people wake up and realize the significant benefits of a cryptocurrency like BitUSD that has no volatility and thus doesn't need to be immediately dumped for fiat. All of this is done in the decentralized and free-market driven collateralized system that is BTSX. Incredible stuff, really. But yea, investing in BitUSD now is more of a way to hedge against a possible short-term fall in BTSX price, due to the fact it's very young and therefore not widely adopted (yet). It's the future potential that is truly awe-inspiring. Plus, you earn interest on your BitUSD (or BitGLD, BitSLV, etc) estimated to be in the realm of 5-10%. Try doing that with a fiat CD in a centralized bank.

I don't know. I bought some NEOS coins very close the ATH (~5k @26ksat) and I am waiting patiently.
Keep holding strong brother! V2 should be just about ready for blastoff; just talked to syntaks about it on IRC. Buy support's already growing again, too. Nothing will stop this baby.

but now is 3 times more, and might be 1 times more soon. so $50 or $150.
Pro-tip: Doge is in a pump and dump. I can more or less guarantee that it will be falling hard very soon. It has already passed the psychological barrier of 100 sats, and looks like it already could have peaked at 116. Don't say I didn't warn ya. I can guarantee you can't guarantee anything there 24 hours later -- 117 was the high, not 116. Doge now down 23%. Pro-tip: listen to my pro-tips. Or don't. lol.

I dont pump and dump coins.. I just pump then and yes... XST is one my group and I are on.
Want a cookie?
lol pumping coins without dumping them...genius.

Why so serious?
lol joking aside, there's no way to keep a thread like this clean from shilling and trolling. It just isn't possible.

I just have to say, Neoscoin left impression to me which is nothing weaker than BitsharesX or Ethereum. Here's my breakdown:
50% Bitcoin (soon to be converted to USD, on the mini-rally) 25% BitsharesX 15% Ethereum 10 % Neoscoin
What can I say, I do believe I picked the right ones + I think i will convert some more BTC to NEOS.
I like your style man. That's my portfolio almost to a T. Well, less held in BTC as I don't see it rising quicker than the others.

Ohhh man...a little over 2 days left! I am PUMPED! Any more updates on that Petco deal? I'm thinking we can get to at least 100 sats once the agreements are finalized. Gonna be HUGE.

...and their is a rush for exists as soon as it hits an exchange.
There's the easy money right there. Happens every time.

+1 for NEOS. First true off-the-chain anonymity that can't be broken. And still completely under the radar. Huge things are brewing for V2...going to be epic.

This looks more and more like Quarkcoin.
except its called Monero. What a dumb name. It sounds like an underpowered sedan driven by senior citizens. This is an amazing comparison, and totally accurate.

Neos is still incredibly undervalued for the tech it's offering. Per coinmarketcap, it's capitalization is only $162,452 at current prices. This is a ton of room for growth.

I'd appreciate to have a discussion because I think it is very important to discuss this topic. But a discussion needs next to a position arguments for that position. Will we read arguments or does it remain an unfounded accusation? The process looks to me like NuBits (NBT) are sold for roughly 1 USD and they are bought for roughly 1 USD by the custodians who act on behalf of the NuShares holders. So for each NBT that is sold, theres 1 USD available to buy it back. Where's the Ponzi? A Ponzi scheme requires that a system can only be sustained by new participants entering the scheme. NuBits is designed to be sustainable independent from the amount of NuBits in circulation, being brought to market or being removed from it. Others can explain it better than I ever could, so if you're truly interested in this discussion take a look at the BitShares post regarding it: https://bitsharestalk.org/index.php?topic=9057.0The good stuff starts around pages 8-9. Most interesting thread I've seen in a long while, and Jordan Lee is also there participating.
