Not if you bought at 800 and sold at 1300, look at the charts  No, I meant I was right about my prediction that it won't reach 3000 satoshi...didn't even come close to it  If you bought at 800 and sold @ 1300 good job...i didn't buy anything but kept selling from mining, most of my sells where in the range 900-1100...i haven't sold below 800 until a few hours ago  , i felt bad people buying at 1000+ but hey I warned them not to buy at above 800 LOL Right so far, but that's a short time frame. The coin is only 2 weeks old. I have 3% of all Octocoins and I won't be blinking, happy to keep buying and topping that up at these low prices. I have a good feeling about this coin, the last time I had as much confidence in a new coin was in the early days of Auroracoin when I was solomining blocks of it  There's something about this one... I could be wrong of course but give it at least 3 months before writing it off. I only meant the prediction for up to a month, it's impossible to predict what happens in the future..it could be 100000 satoshi or 1 lol no one knows. 3% nice...you will make profit no matter what happens unless it drops below 10 satoshi lol How much did you make on Auroracoin? 3% of current distribution. Let's just say I made over $10k on AUR, but sold out WAY too early following the advice of somebody on Twitter and panic selling! I whould have made at least 3 times as much, so a bitter sweet pill! click on the transaction tab in your wallet then right click over transaction and select "Show transaction details"... Then post it here
Also, if you just submitted the transaction sometimes it takes a little longer than it should, however if it's been 30+ minutes it's not normal

Now you're right, and as long as there are no changes you will keep right i think, no tweets and no updates here make some people believe that this coin is maybe dead, so they sell off, thats normal...
Yeap, devs better get here and boost the morale of the people hahah either way i am happy, if price goes up obviously i would be happier, but the price right now doesn't bother me |

I sent round 5000 Octo to Cryptorush.in to wallet (8RBmKtAdk8L48XwwvduTKiVH3QHP******) @ 00:21 and nothing happends no confirms i tryd to track my transaction but i didn´t find a site to do this. Is something wrong with Tansactions? I was using 0.8.4 before.I uninstalled it using windows uninstaller.restarted comp.Then installed 0.9.0..Its up and running already with all info from previous version.Is this normal?I thought It was suppose to install the blockchain again?
Yes that is normal you only need to redownload/reindex the blockchain if you were using 0.7.2 or earlier. That has NOT been the case for me. I was using 0.8.6 and I got a message this morning from bitcoin-qt that it's going to have to reindex the entire blockchain. It's telling me now that it's 51 weeks behind, I'm really not happy about this being necessary. I'm pretty sure 0.8.6 was the most recent stable version before 0.9.0, which would mean that everyone using Windows 7 is having to reindex. Granted, I did not uninstall the old version like this poster did, but it looked like the installer said all I had to do was turn off bitcoin-qt, not uninstalling it completely. So I followed the directions. I have Windows 7...no problems here. I turned it off, uninstalled it and then installed the new one...no problems, didn't index anything, it didn't even need to sync because I was already up to date on the 0.8.6. |

My pool just had some sort of hiccup with the blockupdate cron, Not sure why it failed but apparently had trouble fetching a new block from the daemon. I'll be keeping an eye on it for a couple of hours and tweaking some settings. Not sure if any miners noticed anything or not, but I did verify that nobody's payouts disappeared and we're still chewing up blocks, so hopefully this was just a fluke. It might have something to do with the fact that various pool components are located on different physical machines. This is by far the most critical pool I have running so I have it set up this way to avoid overload situations. My dream is to have a giant loud server rack sitting right next to me as I hack away.. One day.

If so what's your username, what date and time did you make the transfer? I tried running the TXID but it shows as invalid. Which are the two three coins? 1) Myriadcoin - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=483515.0Not really super innovative, but it uses multiple algos, which is rare. I think it's a good experiment to see how that works out. 2) Fluttercoin - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=509499.0This introduces "proof of block" or "proof of transaction". Again, an interesting experiment. I think it's worthwhile from a quick look. I can't really name any others. I'd count Ethereum in another category, as it seems to be more of a protocol - still not sure exactly WTF it is. But, there are so many out there, and so many that I've not really looked into as well. There might be something that I'd like, but, I kind of doubt it. This is all 1 massive experiment though. Huntercoin is really pushing the limits on what can be done compared to most others. I could totally be wrong about some coins, e.g. Blackcoin, Darkcoin, but time will tell. Awfull exchange, poloniex is much better. I actually bought some shares in their exchange. Which one? Cryptorush offering shares directly on their site, with weekly payouts from trading and withdrawl fees. So far looks like a decent investment as far as dividends go but not sure how long I will be holding just cause I don't like keeping my money on any exchange, I dont care who it is. I bought some too hahaha and I feel the same way |

I have an Transaction that still has 0 Confirms since yesterday. When i try to get the private Key for my Address i get the following error error: {"code":-4,"message":"Private key for address 8anZ9KBViCA5bVjWMscNNVsMY4BbNry88U is not known"} Already tried everything else. There are at least 3 other Persons with similar Problems including one Exchange. Please look into this ASAP! So you tried -rescan or starting fresh and it doesn't work, and now you want to export the private key into a fresh install and you can't get the private key because of that error? I wonder why it doesn't work. That is a problem. Hopefully the dev will reply soon. |
