121  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The best cryptocurrency exchanges on: May 31, 2019, 09:40:33 PM
For me, the best cryptocurrency exchange is Indodax, Bittrex, and Binance.

I have been on the cryptocurrency market for over 2 years but I never used binance exchange
I rarely see people like you in the whole of cryptocurrency who don't use Binance at all. Because I am personally, I have used Binance almost 8 months ago. So, what are the reasons and the main factors for not using Binance?

My first cryptocurrency exchange I used was binance then followed by Kucoin and many others but just this 2 are the ones and very much addicted to
122  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bounties with limitations pays higher rewards on: May 31, 2019, 09:37:04 PM
RESTRICTIONS AND LIMITATIONS FOR PARTICIPATION IN A BOUNTY CAMPAIGN = HIGHER PAYOUTS

The limitations can be done in two ways:

1)Quantative — when a max number of participants is set and no one is allowed to join after that.

Example: Max 1000 entrants in a facebook campaign

2)Qualitative — when the requirements are raised up by the bounty managers.

Example: Minimum 500 followers to participate in an article/blogging campaign.

I will agree with you on that, like 3 projects that I sis bounty campaign for that has limitation has actually paid off very well for me but that does not mean that bounties without limitation doesn't pay
123  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: STRATEGY?? on: May 30, 2019, 09:52:55 PM
I want to ask traders. What strategy makes sense when looking at the crypto market situation that is red. Besides observing the charts and their movements, I think patience is really needed in this case.
Please share a little of your experience of trading successfully.

Thank you for your time.

To determination is the watch word cos I believe when you are determined to succeed on something you can go the extra mile by conducting research, monitor the market and the price of the coin and also have that patience
124  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: No best year in crypto currency on: May 30, 2019, 09:47:51 PM
There are always threads on the forum referencing the following

This is the best year to join crypto currency

This is the best time to invest blah blah

There is no year that crypto currency won't make pple smile (profits) and cry (losses), simply because crypto currency cannot make everyone happy at the same time.

I always laugh when i see such post cos to me the best year to join crypto is when you finally decided within you that you are ready and will be patient and committed
125  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Facebook is raising money for Facebook Coin on: May 30, 2019, 09:46:01 PM
Yesterday I created a topic here about Facebook Coin: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5129560.20

After that Nathaniel Popper, a NYTimes reporter that covers crypto, said Facebook is raising money for its crypto project. Seems like I may not be wrong in my article.
Here and here:
https://twitter.com/nathanielpopper/status/1115331482384388098
https://coingeek.com/facebook-seeks-1-billion-investment-from-vcs-for-its-crypto/

I can't see other reason for Facebook to be raising money if its not to back its own decentralized crypto. FB wouldn't need to raise to issue a stablecoin.
Everybody in the original topic said FBCoin couldn't replace bitcoin. While I agree that the ultimate store of value will remain BTC, I think FBCoin could easily surpass BTC in daily usage and, therefore, market cap.

I ran some numbers and I think its possible that FBCoin launches with around 300B USD market cap and reaches 1T in a few months. I'm comparing to HKD M0/M1 and HKMA's stability fund.
But I think FB should raise at least 10B to cover the initial stage of running a "sovereign" fund to stabilize the currency against extreme volatility, like I wrote in my article: https://medium.com/blockchain-positive/how-facebook-coin-can-help-billions-of-people-by-not-being-a-stablecoin-d780b6579e93

Brace yourselves, new times are coming.

If they finally succeed, I believe this will be a huge advantage to the wide spread of Crypto adoption and this will actually draw in more whales into cryptocurrency
126  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will mining be profitable again? on: May 30, 2019, 09:43:12 PM
Now that bitcoin is at 7000k plus is mining becoming profitable again? Or bitcoin still have to surge more in price before profitable mining returns?

Yea of course mining will be profitable again cos I believe the rise in Bitcoin will also be an advantage  it the profit wouldn't be that huge anymore cos of more influx of people into minning
127  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hold ETH or Exchange with LTC on: May 30, 2019, 09:41:00 PM
I'm holding BTC and ETH for couple of months. I already have gotten great profit from ETH, should I hold more? Or I shouls have moved to LTC which also looks like a good investment for now. Please share your opinion, why or why not?

The decision is really yours alone to make, we can only suggest. Both Eth and Ltc are great coins to hold but to me majority uses Eth so I see more potential with it
128  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: So when are you buying?? on: May 29, 2019, 05:00:53 PM
You saw this potential coin last week. The price was rising, you made up your mind to buy later so you created a thread here with the subject "is it a good time to buy?". 3 days ago, you checked up on the coin again and it has increased by 20%, you were still doubting if its the right time to buy. Today the coin has increased by 50% of the initial price you saw and you are getting more confused. My friend take this from me, in crypto, it always now or never. Happy trading to you all!

This is a perfect description of most of us traders but like you rightly said the perfect time to buy is now but we also have to put into the market condition at the moment
129  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Publish0x - The next Steemit? on: May 29, 2019, 04:52:08 PM
Hello everyone,

Recently I discovered a new blogging platform called Publish0x that rewards you not just for writing content but also for tipping (upvoting / liking) articles. What is different to Steemit is that they do not have their own native token, but use a token that is already listed on CoinMarketCap.

I really like the system already. It's easier to use, cleaner and it's only in beta, has anyone used it? Are there any other big fans? If you want to read more about the platform you can click on the link below which explains the tipping system.

I think it's a great way to earn some crypto for newbies as well as experienced bloggers.

Enjoy!

I love the idea that more blogging platform is coming up as I believe people will love to diversify, have been using Steemit for quite a while and very impressed with it but will also love to try out PublishOx
130  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Greed is bringing loss for traders on: May 29, 2019, 04:49:07 PM
Naturally, traders come to crypto currency with a loyal and considerate mindset
Which is to make profits from 1% - 50%

I.e a trader of 100$ investments wishes to get 150$ (50$ profit). But when the bull spikes comes in; instead of cashing out their profit, Begins to imagine building mansions and suddenly wants to hodl to 3000$

When they wake up the next day and are left with 25$; they say altcoin is shit, that is shit

What can be done to ease greed amongst investors ??

Hahhaha everyone is greedy and this applies to all spheres of life, when we have 1, we will want 2 and so on but my take on how to erase greed is to have a disciplined mindset and always remember to cash out at the right time
131  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If a whale is buying Bitcoin then I too will buy Bitcoin. on: May 29, 2019, 04:45:21 PM
If the whales are secretly buying up Bitcoin than I will buy Bitcoin at the current market rate. Even if it goes to 2500$. Gives me sum hope in the crypto space. Only if I find out they are buying through forums etc.

I love the spirit, we have to think and reason like whales, better to buy enough and hold but come to think of it how can one really know when the whales are buying
132  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it really worth it? on: May 29, 2019, 04:42:20 PM

Hello folks,

I've a question in my mind regarding altcoins and ICO's. As the market growth, there are tons of altcoins out there and lots of ICO's on the way. In my opinion, the total marketcap represents the value of the company. From this perspective, consider an altcoin with 5 to 10 employee and 10million dollars of marketcap. 5 to 10 employee and look at the amount. Do these companies really worth this much? I've been trading for more then a year but could not figure out this clearly in my mind.

So what is your opinion?

I don't see anything wrong with it, the no of team members does not determine the success or the monetary value of a project, go through the project aims and objectives, the structures and the interface the you also make research regarding the team and their qualifications

135  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Mining ETH with 1060's: Ethminer OR Phoenix OR Claymore? on: May 19, 2019, 09:48:53 PM
Ethminer is a go for me and have been enjoying it though a friend of mine is using Claymore and he said it's pretty cool maybe I will try it out too to compare the best with the both of them
136  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Can you mine with servers (phsyical) on: May 19, 2019, 09:36:53 PM
You won't have much luck with those servers, the amount of coins you get will be negligible so hardly worth the risk. If you really win't get caught then try xspec or deeponion for privacy

Woow, this is really great, now I know why I don't get much from my minning, will try the xspec and know how it will go
137  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Be aware of new scammer selling boost miner software! on: May 19, 2019, 09:30:18 PM
Please spread the word of this FAKE miner they offer and steal ure money!
They are so called a part of coinomi witch is totally false.

https://shop.coinomi.store/

Stay safe guys.

*In honor of bitcoin's 10-year anniversary*

Thanks so much for this, a friend has already fallen victim of this but o actually blamed him, he didn't make full research on the company before buying through them and with the rise in Bitcoin I believe more of them will come up
138  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Are you running any masternodes? on: May 19, 2019, 09:26:41 PM
Hello friends,

I am curious if you are running any masternodes? If you are, which coins are they for?

Thank you for participating!

139  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is regulation good or bad? on: May 19, 2019, 09:17:49 PM
In my view, regulation will be good for Crypto industry. As we can now see  that many Govt are looking for ways to regulate the industry.

Regulation will be a good thing in the long run. It will build trust for the industry among the masses thereby resulting in mass adoption. With regulation, people will feel more comfortable and have a sense of security to invest in crypto.

I don't believe that regulation means we have to declare our portfolio. Just as nobody cares to know exactly how much you own in the bank.

Regulation will also help in curbing the possibility of using crypto to launder money and place a check and balance in ICO which will make it very difficult for scam ICOs to operate.

I say regulation will in the end be a good thing for crypto..

What's your view about it?

Regulation wouldn't be a bad idea for crypto as it will put a check to the Scam projects springing up but it will defect the purpose of anonymity in Crypto
140  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: XRP buy now or wait for more dump ? on: May 19, 2019, 09:15:06 PM
hi guys
do u think its a good time to invest in XRP at 4500 - 4700 sat or wait to 2000 - 3000 sat
because last time XRP dump to 4200 then explode to + 10000 sat

Crypto is unpredictable but I will certainly wait for the price to go down a bit before investing but if you have enough spare cash you can go for it as XRP is a good one
