I have been mining this coin since the start. I like the slow start and we are half way to the 2duo per block.
Oh and I have yet to reach 1 duo so it's still a great time to start mining.

So my wallet does not show that I am solo mining.
I see the threads on minerd.exe but the wallet it self shows nothing. Anyone else see this on windows?

3) To echo other people. 30% cooler and more energy efficient that mining scrypt is a huge bonus also. More eco friendly, and saves miners money! I know I sure appreciate only pulling 500W at the wall, rather than 800-1000w I was pulling before.

It's more than that !!!!!!! I'm runing 2 rigs with a total of 9 x R920X, it was pulling 2420W on SCRYPT mining. Now it's only pulling 1180W and it's runnings 2 times cooler !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I get the same results. 2x cooler and much less power. |

Some thoughts on Topcoin that I've been kicking around lately: - TOP's accelerated maturity changes the game a bit: Not many coins have been distributed as quick...
a) Instead of the coin being mined, dumped, mined, dumped, so on and so forth, as we draw closer to 1-coin blocks, the professional miners will move on and we will be left with supporters of the network providing hashing power for transactions while continuing to mine
b) Strong hands that were aligned with the coin from the beginning are holding good sums of TOP and can coordinate giveaways, spread the word with donations, tips, etc.
c) A nice community has been born quickly, and community-members turned devs are starting to help with tasks and projects because they were able to build a nice stake and want the coin to be successful
- Did you miss the beginning? No worries, low cost at the moment provides second window of opportunity to get in "cheap". TOP is currently selling for 2 to 3 satoshi, and that may not last long as we continue to grow. If you have any questions on how to purchase, please ask!
- Active development team that listens to its community: I haven't seen anyone be completely turned away when they issue comments or suggestions. Yes, we've had some heated conversations and things have gone one way or the other, but in the end, topdude and his team have been kind and explained the reasons why ideas may not be feasible, good for the coin, etc.
- Future plans: This has been a hot topic as of late, so I won't spend much time here other than to recap. We are barely a month old, and we've already made great strides on finding a purpose and ways to use Topcoin.
a) Our purpose, in my eyes... is to help people reach the "TOP" - just like Charlie Linville attempting to climb Mount Everest after being injured in combat, we can help him reach his goal (donation page is still open by the way, total is up to ~8.5 mil TOP). When that campaign is complete, we will search for another person or group in need to support!
b) We have rolled out fun games, a casino, and are currently assisting a merchant on setting up to receive Topcoin as payment for their goods. Once we get one under our belt, we will try to find more and more. We are also working on a TOP SHOP for everyone to have the ability to trade goods for Topcoin.
c) Community-driven development for the coin itself is something I would like to promote and we will do what we can to support requests, wishlists, etc. If you have ideas, please speak out and let them be heard!
- Sharing, branding, and the rest: We will be designing some Topcoin gear soon that you will be able to purchase or win via contests, and wear proudly to support your TOP. Share Topcoin with your friends and family, I just did with my 14 year-old nephew, and he's happily mining on his gaming rig now. Introduce your friends and throw them some coins, let them hit the casino or use them to purchase items, services, etc. from you... seriously, this is how coins build their own "PUMP". When it's organic like we have the opportunity to create, it will sustain much longer than a orchestrated pump.
There, I feel better now  I have been wanting to post those thoughts here and there, and I'm glad I had some time to wrangle them all up in one post. The idiots at sagonet, migrated the server to a new data center, and are now having problems getting it back online. 16 hrs expected downtime has taken 28hrs so far.  So just waiting for that problem to be sorted Thanks for the update. I'll keep my eyes peeled . |

I have just finished a simple tip system for twitter users. I have been wanting to do this for a while but was lacking time. The system allows you to deposit, check balance, tip other twitter users or direct addresses and withdraw your funds to any address. I have more plans for the future but this is a good start.
I am looking for some users to test the system for me. Send me your twitter username and I will send you some coins. Please run some tests and see how it works for you. Try to tip some other friends etc.

I am currently adding tweet a paper wallet to the twitter tip bot. This function will allow you to tweet paper wallets with any amount directly to an email address with the paper wallet attached as a image. Here is a sample wallet and would like some feed back on the design. I've just been guinea pig trying it out. It seems to work great. I was sent and received some coins, sent them back, uploaded some of my own coins to create my own balance, checked balance, etc. All seemed to work smoothly. Thanks for testing it out for me. I know there are a few tweaks I need it get worked out but so far it seems pretty solid. Another issue will be my max api calls so I am only calling the service once every 2 minutes. I am currently looking into how to increase the api calls. I also have some new ideas that I want to add sometime next week. Thanks again for your help |

I just finished a twitter tipping system for a different coin that I am mining. At the same time I am also mining this coin and would like to know if this is something darkcoin community is interested in.

I think we're supposed to have one, but I haven't figured it out yet?? Can you fix/find it? LOL I can set one up no problem. I just want to make sure it's something you all think we can use. |
