121  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [FACTS] Monero = Silk Road Coin NOW ! on: February 01, 2017, 07:59:58 AM
Who wants to be a part of or associated with DarkMarket activity ?
Involved with Monero ?
Then you are NOW...

Things took a turn and have changed with the recent news they accept XMR now.

Me ? I would distancing myself from some coin used by meth dealers, terrorists & pedophiles etc.

Consider your actions carefully people..
i am sure the US 3 letter agencies have taken an interest in XMR now.
Does this sound appealing to you ?

lol, end of monero? this coin always have a bunch of promoters, spamming a lot other threads to promote their coin. I don't like it at all, and glad to see it will die soon. Grin

what a stupid coin from the liberals. go find a right toilet and cry there!
123  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-01-31] Federal Reserve Employee Mines Bitcoin Using the Fed’s Server on: February 01, 2017, 07:52:20 AM
Lol, government employees have not much to do during the work, that's why Trump will cut the inefficient government workforce. I remember a friend told me that their company analysis the government web traffic and found a lot from superball streaming videos and fashion show videos.
124  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Where can I buy bitcoin without verifying Id? on: February 01, 2017, 07:49:35 AM
You can buy bitcoin from ebay or from local market price. But be careful there are many scammers there. With ID verified it is a lot safer to buy bitcoin at the good exchanges.
125  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin, is it worth spending time collecting it? on: February 01, 2017, 07:46:46 AM
Is it worth spending time to collect Bitcoin rather than having a daily job? What I mean is that can bitcoin be more economical? Has it ever happened that people lose their investment value rather than benefit from spending it on bitcoin?

Keep your daily job and collect as much bitcoin as possible in your spare time, it is exactly like collecting the gold. Do you want to quit your job to dig the gold? I don't think so Grin
126  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Coinbase - not able to buy via PayPal? Wtf? on: February 01, 2017, 07:45:17 AM
Paypal can arbitrary freeze your fund or revert back transactions, this is a big issue dealing with bitcoin, due to the irreversibility of bitcoin transactions. So I am not surprised that Paypal is not allowed. Just link your bank account with coinbase, it's easy.
127  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2017-01-31] ID Required to Buy a Coffee With Bitcoin in the Czech Republic on: February 01, 2017, 03:11:41 AM
That's interesting... if ID needs to be verified in order to use bitcoin, then most people (me included) will simply not using it. People use it because of the freedom and anonymity.
128  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If someone really famous started an altcoin, would it be a threat to Bitcoin ? on: February 01, 2017, 03:07:10 AM
Altcoin can never challenge bitcoin, it's too late. No matter how the famous guy will promote it, it doesn't matter. There are so many interest group behind the bitcoin, so it will always be No.1.
129  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Monero under scrutiny of the FBI on: February 01, 2017, 03:04:36 AM
http://www.coindesk.com/fbi-concerned-about-criminal-use-of-private-cryptocurrency-monero/

Quote
The privacy-focused digital currency monero has captured the attention of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI), which has expressed concerns over its use among criminals.

Quote
Following the event, the special agent said he couldn't provide additional details specifically pertaining to the FBI’s investigative techniques surrounding monero when asked by CoinDesk.

Thats what you get when you promote as cryptocurrency your direct links to darknet markets, i guess.
The FBI's full attention and subject to its investigative techniques.

Not good... FBI can kill any coins, if they want.

On the other hand, unless they have evidences, they won't do anything. Plenty stuff used in darknet.
130  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price ready to increase ~$25 USD per day during this year. on: February 01, 2017, 03:02:16 AM
https://cointelegraph.com/news/bitcoin-price-will-reach-10000-might-take-another-year-tim-draper

Quote
Three years ago, Draper predicted the Bitcoin price to reach $10,000 by now. He remains optimistic regarding the increasing Bitcoin value and expects it to reach $10,000 in a year:

“I predicted a $10000 price on Bitcoin in three years about three years ago. Might take another year.”

That equates to 9,000/365 = $24.66 per day. Luckily, the blockchain is now able to handle all them transactions. It is able to ain't it? Surely, them behind-close-doors meetings were producing such solutions, attendees only taking breaks to advance a rumor or two as fodder for respective trade rags, eh?

Nice... although I am bullish on bitcoin, I am not that crazy believing bitcoin will go to $10000 in 3 years, lol. If it actually does, then it is great, but I don't think so.
131  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [IPO LIVE] Ascendancy:Modular Decentralized App Framework IPO ENDS:10 March 2017 on: February 01, 2017, 02:48:40 AM
Clearly it is a scam. Nothing new, just some graphics and high level blah blah.
Mind elaborating a bit more?

Oh, by the way, didn't you notice the dev still have the BitDice avatar and signature? This guy wants to get 0.0x BTC per week, at the same time grab quick money from IPO, do you think he care about his own coin? not even promote to it. He did not believe to it, does anyone else believe to it?? Roll Eyes
1.I'm not the dev,I'm the development manager.
2.I don't write the actual code for the framework, the "devs" do.
3.Me having a signature or whatever doesn't change the fact how actively we're trying to work to the best of our abilities.
4.Did you even see our marketing and promotion campaigns ? They're much effective.
5.Had we planned to scam the money out of this project,I wouldn't carry a signature to make 0.0 per week and put it for advertising ASC.
6.People like you will never appreciate anything. You just love to Open the Altcoin board and spam with "scam project" all over, just to get paid for your signature.
7.I bet you don't have a clue what this project is,what an Altcoin is, or how even bitcoin works to be honest.Stop demotivating people if you don't intend to constructively criticize them.
8.I would be glad to answer all your technical questions on the project either inbox or our slack channel.Matter of fact, please learn the decentralized network basics before hitting me on the chat.

Fine, dev manager, lol. A dev manager defends his coins with all he can, but does not even promote his own coin, what does it mean? You asked me if I saw your promotion campaign? No I did not, but I am sure you are not doing it, as you are promoting for something else. If you have conviction of the success of your coin, why promote something else? Come on, you slapped your own face, and told everyone what your coin worth!
132  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: BYTEBALL: Totally new consensus algorithm + private untraceable payments on: February 01, 2017, 02:42:03 AM
I think the privacy features of all 3 coins are more or less the same for most practical purposes.   What differs, and what matters most for regular users, is usability.

Thx, I'll use this together with other fuckups of SatoNatomato (which he will, of course, make in the future) to show the real level of his "competence".
Another appeal to authority argument.  Roll Eyes

I still stand by my words, regardless what tonych thinks, respectfully disagree.

Again no technical discussion from you.

Iota still has no decentralized consensus algorithm aside from centralized "milestones", cannot defend against Sybils/spamming, and does not work or even make sense on IoT devices due to the useless "Proof-of-Work".

You do have a high competence in trolling though, if you only applied that technically that would be great.

I agree with you. Let's not worry about other coins, after all this is where we should discuss byteball, not other coins. Let them troll in their own threads.

From usage point of view, what tony puts in is good enough on the security side.
133  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: Understanding BTC Core on: January 31, 2017, 04:45:38 AM
A good way to learn it is to fork it to an altcoin, and launch the network yourself. You will learn a lot of things this way, from security, to different parameters, to genesis block/ports etc etc.
134  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [IPO LIVE] Ascendancy:Modular Decentralized App Framework IPO ENDS:10 March 2017 on: January 31, 2017, 04:42:47 AM
Nothing new here, just another money grab clone. Prove me wrong

St4nl3y,

That's exactly what we plan on doing.
Stay tuned for the next few days while we reveal some more progress!

-Andrew Penn

Why don't you reveal yourself?

Both of you guys are ghost on the internet?
https://www.google.com/search?q=Andrew+Penn&oq=Andrew+Penn
https://www.google.com/search?q=Richard+Aldridge&oq=Richard+Aldridge

It's 2017, why is there no result coming up when we google you with information frm this doc:
https://ascendancy.io/founding.pdf

But the real issue is if you are capable right. If you would be investing in someone/ a team of 480 BTC/ 442.300 USD you too would like to see more.
Projects you worked on etc.

Just look at the whitepaper. It's a typical non coders document. No details etc.

There has been a lot of scams DeCloud 300 BTC, so yeah it's not too much to ask.
Because let's face it. It's you guys who want 442.300 USD.

Clearly it is a scam. Nothing new, just some graphics and high level blah blah.

Roll Eyes
135  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: BYTEBALL: Totally new consensus algorithm + private untraceable payments on: January 31, 2017, 04:38:02 AM
so if i have never sent any bytes i can just load BTC to same address as before and i will get new bytes or somethign else has to be done ?

Your address in the first distribution is still in record, so yes you can use the same address and do not need to do other things. To make sure, check http://transition.byteball.org to see your BTC and byteball address still there.
136  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Is it illegal for someone to hack my BTC wallet? on: January 31, 2017, 04:33:14 AM
hacking by definition is illegal, but do the hackers care? If they do, they won't be called hackers.

illegal does not mean people don't do, so better protect your own assets to avoid losses.
137  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What can I really 'do' with my bitcoin? (I can't sell it) on: January 31, 2017, 04:29:11 AM
You can buy many things with bitcoin in stores like overstock. If you want to sell bitcoin for money, then better find a local exchange where you can exchange with people in your city.
138  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What does a President Trump mean for Bitcoin? on: January 31, 2017, 04:25:51 AM
So, what if  Trump bans Bitcoin in the USA? i.e. to avoid capital flight  or to "fight terorrism"

Could the CIA or the FBI or NSA (i don't know)  track your tx id to your ip? is that possible?

What could be the american people response?

Trump has no reason to ban bitcoin, terrorist has different ways to get money. In US all exchanges are controllled and if big sale from an account will be notified, so there's no point for terrorist to use it.
139  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Question; Bitcoin Payment on: January 30, 2017, 04:58:44 PM
If you want customer pay with creditcard etc and you receive as bitcoin, just link Paypal to your website and then transfer Paypal money to coinbase and buy bitcoin. Very easy to do.
140  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: BYTEBALL: Totally new consensus algorithm + private untraceable payments on: January 30, 2017, 04:49:54 PM
And known scammer of NXT fame ComeFromBeyond trolling people up in here, derailing and sabotaging discussion with threats and hostility.
We need a FAQ website somewhere. And show cfb the door to his own iota thread where he can feel powerful and almighty to compensate for small penis.

Missed the Ico right?
Nxt works, Iota works.
Classic projection.
lol, "ICO".

I dont give a shit about your coins, or your money.

I just explained 10 times in this thread alone, IOTA is fail and a scam, and I gave reasons why.

Nobody of you Iota fans can spend one post explaining or refuting my claims. Crickets only.

Iota and nxt supporters, please go back to your own threads and troll, this is not your place and we don't need you. We are happy supporters of byteballs. We don't care about iota or nxt.
