It has nothing to do with being transparent or shady. Its about not being registered with SEC but accepting US customer's money. The same reason BTC-e has been taken down. Even if the ICO blocks US customers, ICO token will be traded on Polo/Bittrex. So, US traders will touch it and thereby bitDice will end up breaking US laws.
I'm not really sure how US laws work out but if the customers are buying tokens from a website that is operated from the US,isn't it the website's fault that is allowing the sales of tokens to the US customers ? Shouldn't the third party exchange like polo be verifying if the request placed for a xyz coin isn't coming from a US customer ? I doubt BitDice is to be blamed for it. Doesn't make any sense to. If Polo/Bittrex does not list a coin, that's already a bad news for that coin. Moreover, even if it is listed on Bitfinex or some other non-US exchange and an US customer trades it, then its trouble again. BTC-e was not in US, but US law enforcement has taken it down. To best of my knowledge, you are wrong here. We are not responsible when US citizen buys tokens from a second market. There's barely any chance to stop owning a token when it's being traded on a unregulated\decentralized market. BTC-e's problem is that being an exchange and providing their services for US citizens they didn't do ANY AML\KYC. PS: Can we move ICO questions to the ICO thread? Yes i can understand that you are not located in the US but how will you make sure that the investors are particularly from the US and if you find out they are investing despite being a US resident will you confiscate those funds and never return those,i just want to know how things will go and how you plan on tackling these things. You should read the OP carefully and visit the given links there to understand the whole structure of this project. This project already have running casino so with raised funds they will expand their services and will bring new features there. I followed all links that I could find also to current casino and I couldnt find those info escrow: BitDice does not see much sense in employing escrow services because it is a well established and operational business. It has been keeping securely the bankroll investors' funds for already a few years ,worth more than 3000 BTC. There is no problem with "trust". team: Team members are not disclosed up to the moment all legal formalities related to gambling regulation are put in good order. From our experience, we know that all projects related to gambling may face legal issues unless they are properly structured and licensed. To avoid potential legal liabilities, we will not provide personal information of the team members. marketing: Our marketing strategy pretty much depends on the licensing part of the venture. We are trying to solve a very sophisticated problem of allowing crypto-gamblers to remain anonymous while conducting a required AML\KYC with fiat-gamblers. Прошу не называйте всякие говнодайсы словом казино  Казино BitDice сотрудничает со множеством провайдеров - Endorphina, GameArt, Habanero. Планируется подключение Amatic и других.
