121  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Lightning Network - Thoughts? on: March 31, 2020, 05:52:14 PM
Just tried the DEX and did my first BTC/LTC trade, which was INSTANT, just as when you trade on Binance. Pretty mind blown, and crossing my fingers that more projects starts to enable Lightning on their chain, as this opens the door to full scale trading with no boundaries.  Cool

Blocknet - The Internet Of Blockchains
I recently digged deep into this project, since I got extremely interested in DEX's since they seem to be on everyones agenda lately. To my surprise I discovered that Blocknet is WAY more than just a simple "DEX".
Their Xrouter is what caught my interest:

Blocknet's XRouter which makes it possible to build decentralized apps using features from any public or private blockchain, will serve as the foundation for multi-blockchain architectures and the “Internet of Blockchains”. XRouter was designed from the ground up to provide interoperability with ANY and ALL blockchains.

Sounds familiar doesn't it? You can read more about it here:  https://blocknet.co/xrouter-missing-link-between-all-blockchains/

When comparing Blocknet's Xrouter to Chainlinks Oracles an interesting thing caught my attention!
The  XRouter can serve billions of requests per day like Infura (who is doing over 20 billion/day).  If each call averages out to about 0.001 BLOCK/call, then that's about $1,000,000 going to the active service nodes. If 100 is running it equals to $10,000/day per service node that the XRouter pulls in based off a tiny 0.001 BLOCK call at $0.70.

LINK charges 0.1/call which is 0.23 cents, which is quite expensive compared to BLOCK.
I'm not saying LINK is a trash project, but it sure seems hyped up when you've got a project doing the exact same thing  in a far more decentralized fashion with a 1/200 of the marketcap,  while having the first working DEX running at the same time.
123  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Any good KYCless exchange ? on: March 31, 2020, 04:59:19 PM
Although liquidity isn't high, I'm sticking to DEX such as Blocknet's and others out there.

No KYC
No Registration
No fear of getting hacked

Blocknet was the first DEX to hit the market in early 2018, can read more about it here: https://blockdx.com/
124  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: what's about livecoin deos he are a legit tarding platform? on: March 31, 2020, 04:56:43 PM
Never had any problems with Livecoin personally, but they do have a shady history from what I could find. I use them occasionally for low cap projects not listed on bigger exchanges, and again, never faced any problems with them, even got help from their support multiple times when I had questions in regards to deposit/withdrawal.

I'm more a fan of decentralized solutions such as Blocknet's DEX though. I like to trade without undergoing KYC, or compromising my own security against hackers.
125  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Intelligent Masternodes? on: March 30, 2020, 02:30:56 PM
Pretty damn cool. When exactly is this DEX planned for release, and where do I get to try it out? It looks amazingly sick from the screenshots I've seen shared so far. From what I could read they've integrated trading view as well? That's pretty damn useful, since I'm a day trader.
126  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Lightning Network - Thoughts? on: March 25, 2020, 06:44:07 AM
I think the reason why most people don't bother to use Segwit and LN is because bitcoin fees are fairly cheap again. We are getting 20% slower blocktimes due to the difficulty retarget and you can still get a transaction confirmed with an hour or so using 1 sat/byte. Hence transaction for bitcoin are very cheap at the moment.

If it ever comes to the times when we had those $50 confirmations which took hours then more and more people would start to use Segwit and LN. So we need adoption first, to congest the network, and then people will use LN more and it will lead to even more adoption since we have even cheaper and faster fees. Maybe if BTC hits a new ATH and gets a surge of new retail people joining, maybe then it will start the congestion again and we might consider LN.

True, I guess the majority of people will "wake up" once we go full bull again, and experience these crazy high transaction fees. The Lightning Network will probably be the "standard" way to transact if fees increase too drastically over time, which I'm sure they will as more and more people start to transact with it.

We'll see though... One thing's for sure, Stakenets vision and game plan is spot on here.
127  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][XSN] Stakenet - The World's First Trustless Proof of Stake Coin on: March 25, 2020, 06:39:39 AM
Don't panic guys , the hole world is just taking a break from anything and cryptos are no exception so even if we see a small rise in price right now I would say its hardly manipulated ( Bitcoin price ) and we should all wait for this hype train to settle down as I can't see Bitcoin going over 7k$, I simply can't.

Regarding stakenet ,simply watch the price and make some buys here and there but don't go all in as I have the feeling that a massive drop in price will come in all cryptos. ( Just my opinions )
Last week was an especially great buying opportunity for XSN. One man's rough roads are another man's masternodes.  Cheesy

True, I've been loading up my truck recently, and got a few more nodes. I'm sure it's gonna pay off BIG time long term!  Cheesy Cool
128  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: When is altcoin season??? on: March 24, 2020, 04:48:37 PM
It's probably sometime after the halving. Question is which altcoin that takes off the most.

I'm predicting DEX projects will be MASSIVE performers, just like Kucoin and COSS was it in 2017, only difference this time is decentralization versus centralized exchange platforms.

I'm buying Blocknet for this very reason, since I want to run a service node and get a passive income through their DEX fee's and XRouter/XBridge fees as well.
129  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What old coins are you still holding? on: March 24, 2020, 04:22:56 PM
I'm holding and actually accumulating BLOCK. Since I'm sure DEX's will be used a LOT more in the future. I plan to run a service node on their network and benefit from the on-going trading fees on their network. Their XRouter and XBridge will be profitable as well, being a decentralized oracle network, and infura solution, superior to the one of Ethereum.

This is a long term hold for me  Grin
130  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Good project since 2018 on: March 24, 2020, 04:20:07 PM
Why 2018?

Blocknet launched in 2014, released a working product in 2018 (Their DEX). On top of that they're building on their XRouter and XBridge which will work as an Infura solution which should be way better than Ethereums. Their XRouter will function as a decentralized oracle network.
131  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Top 10 alts under $0.10 that can go 100x on: March 24, 2020, 04:14:17 PM
The price of the coin itself doesn't matter at all.

Blocknet is sitting at around $0.8/coin, and could easily 100x next bull run. The supply is less than 1/3 of BTC with only 6 million circulating coins, they are doing a coin split at some point according to their roadmap, which will be in the ratio of 1:100, making the price $0.008 / BLOCK.

Blocknet was founded in 2014. First project to launch a truly decentralized DEX in 2018. Is building a new infura solution, and decentralized oracle network. Has proven constant development for years.
It's worth doing some research on this one, as it could truly take off massively in the future when everyone starts trading on DEX's. If you run a masternode (5000 BLOCK), you can benefit from the trading fees on the DEX itself.
132  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Stakenet - Next short term 10x - Here's why. on: March 19, 2020, 04:32:50 PM
Nice to see this beast of a project gain in satoshi today, on top of the BTC rise, which made it gain with more than 20%.

I'm sure once the DEX itself is released, that we'll see growth on a much larger scale, as use case is the defacto here.
133  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Lightning Network - Thoughts? on: March 19, 2020, 04:30:08 PM
I also have a little knowledge about Lightning network but while doing some searching.
It seems, It has a lot of detractors than supporters, Because it is more of a centralized network.

This is the article I have read which I think has it in detailed content.
https://medium.com/@jonaldfyookball/mathematical-proof-that-the-lightning-network-cannot-be-a-decentralized-bitcoin-scaling-solution-1b8147650800

From my research, Stakenet makes the Lightning Network decentralized, since the Lightning Nodes will be hosted on decentralized masternodes. So it's apparentely a different thing compared to Lightning directly on top of BTC, which could very well become centralized
134  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Blocknet's XRouter Can Pull In MASSIVE Amounts Of Fee's To Node Owners on: March 19, 2020, 03:39:19 PM
Interesting. So basically you can collect XRouter AND DEX fee's along with the traditional block rewards from holding a node?
Might need a deeper look into it. Wasn't aware of all these passive ways of income through the network, just parts of them.

I'm sure it will take a while before we see any major adoption of these services on the larger scale though, long term perhaps.

Forgot I even made this thread, haha.

Yes, you'll be able to profit passively from all 3 sources if you run a node. If you can't afford a node you can stake your coins like any other Proof Of Stake coin out there.

If Blocknet truly takes off with partnerships etc. in the future, you could make a hefty sum of profits from a node or two, especially from the XRouter.

Nice, that's actually pretty cool. I'm eyeing a lot of great opportunities to take advantage off with these low prices. Think I'll buy some BLOCK, been accumulating a lot of ADA, ETH, and BTC lately, so I think I'm pretty well diversified for the next run up.
135  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Lightning Network - Thoughts? on: March 13, 2020, 04:12:57 PM
Guess I need to do some research on Lightning, as this post above is pretty damn interesting.

I've seen a lot of hate on Lightning as of lately, but this seems like a cool implementation idea. Thanks for posting.

Who is hating Lightning Network? when we can save a lot of transaction fees although it has some limitations. But it could really help in a way, specially if we go on another parabolic run choking the network.

So if you wanted to pay someone, you can take advantage of LN, open a channel so that the other party can issue the payment without adding congestion to the network, p2p, off-chain transaction.

There's been a lot of hate and criticism around it's security on Reddit. This is another setup though, masternodes will handle everything, so the actual users wont need to have any technical knowledge on Lightning in order to trade, let alone send/recieve coins over the Lightning Network
136  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Game Over? on: March 13, 2020, 08:48:09 AM
Game over? LOL

Give me a break... Read this: https://www.reddit.com/r/CryptoCurrency/comments/fhn38a/chinese_ponzi_plustoken_which_owns_1_of_all_btc/

Here's why the price dropped so hard. Relax, and use this opportunity to buy low. It's that simple.

I'm personally buying a TON of BLOCK below $1, since I want to accumulate 5k coins for a service node, which will be the greatest passive income once people start using DEX's more (due to regulation, and KYC enforced on every exchange). I'll basically cash in on all the fees associated.

Again, take a chill pill man, we'll be fine!
137  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which tokens do you like to stake/hold for profits? on: March 12, 2020, 07:58:14 PM
I'm cold staking my XSN. (Stakenet actually invented cold staking back in 2017, and implemented it early 2018). Pretty cool.

Also running a few masternodes for passive income, which will become extremely profitable due to all the dApps that will run on these masternodes, first one being Stakenet's Lightning Network supported Multi Currency Wallet and DEX.
Allows instant trading, no sync time, no KYC, no bullshit.

Here's a pic of it:

138  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: (Yes or NO) The 2020s belong to DEXs on: March 12, 2020, 07:42:24 PM
Stakenet will be the superior one to all of them once they release their Lightning DEX.

Here's a pic of it.

139  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The best t in me to fill the bag? on: March 12, 2020, 07:38:12 PM
There is an almost disturbing downward change in the market price of cryptocurrency, and this is a general problem. Bitcoin as biggest cryptocurrency is taking a huge hit and it is spreading over to even major altcoins like BCH, stellar, litecoin and other promising ones such as Matic, Elrond, Vite etc.

Regardless of the negatives that people have about crypto in general, there has been many bears like this and the market has come back up. I strongly believe that the market will definitely come back green and that now is the time to fill the bag and acquire these coins on the low.

I'm loading up HARD on XSN currently.

This project is SO undervalued that I'm blown away.

1) Invented cold staking - Trustless Proof Of Stake
2) Helped the Litecoin team with Lightning Network integration on the LTC main chain and formed a partnership
3) 3rd project next to BTC and LTC to implement Lightning on mainnet.
4) First project worldwide to release a multi currency wallet with Lightning Swaps support + an integrated Lightning DEX, which is handled by a layer of masternodes, meaning anyone will be able to download it, and trade without syncing to any networks. All the chains is hosted by masternodes.

These masternodes will profit from a TON of upcoming dApps.

Buying ETH, and BTC as well. Got a wire transfer coming in tomorrow morning.
140  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Stakenet - Next short term 10x - Here's why. on: March 12, 2020, 07:32:25 PM
I'm in XSN and have been since the swap from PoSW.
For some perspective, buying POSW was my biggest regret in 2017. My bags became so worthless that they weren't even worth selling. It had working products in the form of a centralized exchange and a staking service, but the implementation was messy and ultimately unsustainable. Ironically, XSN is my favorite coin and I consider myself lucky to have discovered it completely by accident. I'm buying a little more today, in fact.

The X9 Developers took over the project a little more than 2 years ago with a significantly more comprehensive idea to embed Lightning nodes into their MN network and then use the liquidity of each masternode to execute heavy-hitting orders quickly. It's the best implementation of Lightning I've seen. It's fast, effective, and provides a theoretically unlimited quasi-centralized pool of funds in a completely decentralized manner. If it takes off - mind you, I do believe it will - their implementation will make it very easy for anyone to use Lightning without the need for additional hardware.

On that note, it could be argued that Lightning isn't profitable enough to justify on it's own. At the very least, it could be argued that Lightning isn't profitable enough to be anything other than complimentary to something else unless it is done on a very massive and centralized scale. Stakenet has a tremendous advantage here as the masternodes already perform several other profitable jobs in addition to routing LN payments.

Put briefly:
Purely decentralized network that runs a code-agnostic interchain exchange with all the benefits of Lightning and centralization without the need for hardware add-ons.

It's brilliant and it raises the bar in a way that truly honors the Cypherpunk Manifesto like XMR and Bitcoin did.

There's no doubt in my mind that XSN could massively explode one day. It really blows my mind why this project has such a low marketcap still. Once the DEX is out, I'm sure a LOT of people will start using it, for convenience sake, as the DEX itself is integrated into a multi currency wallet.
