121  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO, IEO, IDO, STO which best? on: November 12, 2020, 08:50:42 AM
IEO is more reliable than others, it brings back lost confidence in ICO era and top exchanges takes the front to confront new projects before allowing them on their exchanges, even low experience newbies can participate in IEO and make good profits
122  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New projects can still deliver on: November 12, 2020, 08:47:57 AM
Most new projects are tied under top 100 on coinmarketcap today, it's not that easy for a new project to enter top 50 because there will be some challenges, with enough volume and liquidity that will be possible but adoption rate is the only thing to make this works, I hope there will be more good new projects in future, presently we have to small successful projects
123  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Can Crypto be more valuable than gold? on: November 12, 2020, 08:40:53 AM
Bitcoin already has more value than gold presently and still climbing up, so far bitcoin have win over gold and it's easier to see, go on coinmarketcap you will see the worth of all crypto marketcap, I don't think gold stands a chance
124  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Scammers are using the name of Airdrop to take the wallet's private key. on: November 11, 2020, 03:13:51 PM
Well newbies need to know how important their private keys are, they are meant to be hidden and not shared with anyone else even if they promise to give you something in return, some newbies just create wallets this days and without fully understanding what their private key stands for, it's still happening because they failed to learn first before trying to earn
125  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you find out about new projects? on: November 10, 2020, 03:53:24 PM
I'm not going to give my attention to any new project that have no ANN page on this forum, I prefer using the notification button of this forum to get information about any newly added project's ANN pages on this forum, it works pretty well, I'd say don't go for any project who don't have ANN on Bitcointalk but the choice is yours
126  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BUY 32 ETH on: November 10, 2020, 03:51:10 PM
This is sad, not every Ethereum holder will want to be a validator, I don't plan for this at all, what I want is staking features like those of Tezos, now I think I will just hold my 32eth and sell when profits comes, this is pretty fucked up honestly, vitalik don't make this easy for eth investors
127  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dangers awaits ( unofficial listings ) on: November 09, 2020, 01:03:47 PM
You don't have to be told that unofficial listings are dangerous to mingle with, scammers can easily achieve their aims by making an unlisted token available for sell on their exchange, always buy coins and tokens from officially listed crypto exchanges, as the team through their telegram groups
128  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: (Yes or NO) The 2020s belong to DEXs on: November 09, 2020, 12:57:26 PM
In 2020? No, but it looks like very soon DEX will take over CEX, today I saw a news about government trying to use the law to force centralized exchanges to give up their users data, if this finally gets approved many will quit using centralized exchanges and move fully onto DEX
129  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Tezos going to be next Ethereum? on: November 09, 2020, 12:55:13 PM
No matter how many new competitors rise up to compete with Ethereum they won't be able to beat ethereum, ask yourself why many coins that beats bitcoin with new utilities can't still overthrown bitcoin till date? What devs failed to understand is old projects have build stronger trusts and love in the heart of the community and all crypto lovers
130  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: when is the right time to buy cryptocurrency? on: November 08, 2020, 04:08:14 PM
Take advantage of price dumps or bearish moments, you can easily do this by storing stable coins and watching the market or just go to top exchange and create a order, just make sure the coin you choose is a very good one with high trading volume, buy low and sell high, lots of patience is needed though
131  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If you are new to crypto this is for you on: November 08, 2020, 04:02:49 PM
Someone have to do this from time to time, I believe that many newbies are still victims to scam projects till this days, we gotta keep warning them, not all can be safe but as for those who want to learn, here you go

1. Learn to control your greed
2. Money making should come last, learning is the first thing to do
3. Do research on exchanges as there are many bad eggs among the good exchanges
4. Follow the crypto investment rule, don't invest more than you can afford to lose
5. Don't put all your eggs in one basket, diversity is the way of winners in crypto space

All the best.
It's not that easy to control ones greed, it's something you can't get rid of either, even multi billionaires have greed, as bad as greed looks to you it's a very useful gift if you can use it in the right way at the right time, there is a saying from a well known rich man that goes like this 'be greedy when others are fearful' and 'be fearful when others are greedy'
132  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Half bread is better than none on: November 07, 2020, 01:30:18 PM
Altcoins are really scary, if you can do some research you will see many good altcoins that had very good start and value in 2018 and are still alive today but we never heard anything good from them anymore for some reasons, they are now like ghosts, honestly altcoin investment is more scary, this is why its better to always take profit, most especially from new altcoins, Profit is Profit, either big or small.
It's why I don't like holding altcoins for too long, they lose value when you least expect, the best time to start buying altcoin is when bitcoin have surge to a new all time high because once dominance starts losing steady whales will take advantage and pull the profit from bitcoin into altcoin, talking from experience, when bullrun is alive is the best time to start buying altcoin
133  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: (Yes or NO) The 2020s belong to DEXs on: November 07, 2020, 01:22:03 PM
The king of dex in 2020 is uniswap as it's owns the highest liquidity among all other dex exchanges in crypto space, well thanks to DeFi Hypes since few months ago but now it's done after DeFi projects lose their bullshit touch, this year biggest volume and liquidity belongs to centralized exchanges not Dex
134  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is it over for Binance IEO? on: November 07, 2020, 01:13:06 PM
So it's over for binance IEO because a project brings only 2x to investors? Is this even real? OMG why are you so greedy? Do you even invest on the project? Because those who invested and make 2x aren't complaining but are satisfied with the gains, nothing can drag binance down ok? The hexs earned from launchpads on binance depends on the projects itself.
135  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Another 2017 kinda year is already around the corner on: November 06, 2020, 06:51:21 AM
I hope altcoins won't be left out this time, if truly things are going the same way as in 2017 then in few weeks more altcoins should start climbing higher too, if not then it's just bitcoin this time but that's near impossible because Bitcoin dominance will surely decrease at one point, I can't wait to start seeing my portfolio getting fatter
136  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Youengine (YOUC) failed on: November 06, 2020, 06:48:51 AM
Unfortunately for those who got involved in that project, if i look at the project and the program they are in, i would never work for them. The exchanges they use to raise money are the worst exchanges in this market. But i think this is not new in this space, we have gone through so many unsuccessful projects and promised so many. After this project i think more people will gain more skills check bounty.
It's true that they used the worst crypto exchanges available in the market but I got fooled by there promises of listing on better exchanges later, and at that time there aren't any new promising project to promote so I just give a shot without thinking too much about anything.
137  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Youengine (YOUC) failed on: November 06, 2020, 06:46:55 AM
I got my token some hours ago but unfortunately I wasn't able to sell because no one is buying at the present price even after the massive dump, now I'm stuck with a token I can't sell, the team needs to come up with something that can make this project a must buy or else it's over.
138  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IEO still standing strong as ever on: November 05, 2020, 03:23:06 PM
IEO did something right that ICO never had, that's solid trusts and foundation and this is only possible because of top exchanges, binance exchange and other top exchanges are the main reason why IEO fundraising is still much alive today and it's not going away any time soon
139  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My suggestion for new projects team who want to promote their projects on: November 05, 2020, 03:16:06 PM
I suggest every new projects team should do this if they want to introduce bounty campaigns for their project, doing this will limit the risk for tokens losing huge value because bounty hunters sell their shares.

1. Find good bounty manager
2. Give up only few decent allocation
3. Go for strong exchanges with no fake volume
4. Accept limited participants in your bounty campaigns
5. Introduce phase distributions

Are you sure with your suggestions? Did you know that only small percentage of the total budget is allocated for bounty? Then if the value of tokens dump it blame all to the hunters who sold their rewards. Why? The success of the project is depends on the project itself and the team behind it. IF the project has a lot of support from the team with good marketing strategy that can attract and convince investors to invest on their project, I think the value of their token will recover after a dump unless after the campaign and after they get money from the investors they just let the value of their token fall forever.
I believe that OP already stated that top exchanges are important for project to get successful this days, I don't believe that serious team can release projects with no use case at all, all it takes is professional teams that are hardworking but to raise needed fund top exchanges is very important
140  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: My take on DeFi bounties on: November 05, 2020, 03:12:45 PM
DeFi is the new thing in crypto space today just like how ICO was in 2017, it's certain that scammers will take advantage of the hype surrounding DeFi projects, mind you majority of DeFi projects are scam, we must do research and not get tempted by DeFi returns, they aren't realistic to begin with, imagine make 1200% ROI from DeFi farming
