Thanks for the advice, we knew about all this already so your post isn't actually well fitted for this thread, you can move to beginners section for newbies so they can read and probably safe few of them who tend to listen to advices

We've discussed about this before and I'm not ready to argue about few comments on under this topic, what I can say about this is it's always about your choices, if a bounty campaign isn't doing what you expected or the rules are not in your favour do not join, find campaigns that suits you, some bounties still use limited participants and some still allows unlimited participants

You can use separate standalone mining OS because they have inbuilt bios mods you can easily flash them or use google search to find tutorial about how to flash bios mod, make sure you download the right bios for your gpu
|
|
|
Flash a bios on the weak gpu with low hashrate, though it isn't weak just because it's giving low hashrate, it's just that some gpu have memory types that aren't so good with mining but once you flash a modded bios things will turn around, you will start getting better Hashrates

Dual mining still works but not Profitable and more electricity drawn in the process, years ago dual mining was very profitable and more advisable too but not anymore, ETH+ZIL is still a thing but that is if you don't pay huge electricity bills

Newbies don't want to do their own research that's why they follow crypto advisors like John McAfee and others through twitter that lead them astray, if they can do research on their own they will get to this forum, no one introduce this forum to me, I landed here myself through answer seeking

Few altcoins follows bitcoin rally but not much, the gains aren't like that of January 2018, I believe it's not the right time for altcoin season yet and the fact is Bitcoin dominance is still growing higher, over 70% today, it might take longer before we see altcoins bullseason in action

OP I recommend changing the OS if you've already try the following
1. The power pack is enough to carry all the five graphic cards 2. Change the gen 2, 1 etc 3. Change risers 4. Test all gpu one by one, a single defective gpu can affect others to boot up 5. Upgrade bios
If you've completed all the following you have no other choice but to give a new OS a try

Anyone can wish for whatever they want in crypto space, some wish for XRP to die, some want Ethereum to surrender the second position but what I see are angry people that miss the opportunity of buying these coins when they are very affordable and all they have left is to buy new altcoins and wish for such coins to take over Ethereum

The year has come and about to end, which another plan has drawn down against next year 2021, if this year didn't work out as it plan, because of global challenge, covid-19 pandemic lockdown, next year 2021 will be more better
Covid 2.0 is out already and UK seem to be the first victim this time around, I think another lockdown will begin soon, I never wished this for this incoming new year, I hope some miracle happens cos 2020 was greatly affected by the pandemic, let's pray and hope for a better future

There are so many crypto projects, where should we invest?
You are a newbie, I recommend bitcoin or Ethereum because they are the first of their kind and they are more trusted than others, this advice is for those who don't have time to do research on projects, but if you can try to learn more about crypto you can then decide to take risks on other crypto projects
|
|
|
Hedera hashgraph is a new smart contract project and Ethereum is the project that introduced smart contract, that is a big difference, now ask yourself which one developers will trust more? The difference between a old project and a new project is different, people just trust old projects more

Shit happens, it's the way of life, I'm sure that those who fell for the scam must have learn something right now, DeFi is hot cake and that's why scammers are building their own scam DeFi projects, this is normal and for those who aren't careful or always too eager to make money I pity them because they only learn when bad things happened

You need a decentralized wallet to store cryptocurrency. Then they are software wallet or hardware wallet. There is a high risk of fund theft from software wallet. But in the near future, new people are coming into the crypto field. Then they can't take Hardware wallet, because considering its use and its cost, then softwar wallet is a great options for it. What do you think is the safest and secure wallet to store cryptocurrency?
what is wrong with hardware wallet cost? an hardware wallet hardly cost $100. and you can safely store millions of dollars worth Bitcoins and other coins in it. if you can't afford an hardware wallet that would mean you don't have much coins to store. and for small amount of coins and tokens. it's always better to use software wallets. I even use exchange wallets for smaller amount of coins. a hardware wallet would be best if you have large number of coins (bitcoins and alts to hold for long term) It's easier to say for you because you can afford a hardware wallet, many people can't and that's a fact, software wallet costs nothing and the only danger using software wallet is misplacing your keys or falling victim to phishing, if one list his or her hardware wallet recovery seed the fund isn't safe anymore either

Do your own research, invest only what you can afford to lose and you will be fine, I've heard about chilliz project before but I had my doubt until they listed on top exchanges, you don't need to make decisions on what people tell you, instead try to find the right reasons why you would want to invest on the project

No, if your gpu is dual bios, if you messes up the primary bios then you have the secondary bios to save you. You should never buy gpus with a single bios regardless if you mine or not because shit happens even if you do not try to modify the bios.
Not all gpus have dual bios switch and that shouldn't be the reason not to buy cards, I have over 12 RX580 and only 4 have dual bios switch on them and still I managed to flash all of them right, it's all about been cautious and find a better bios flashing tutorial, you can see one or two on youtube

There is no way you won't be caught by greed if you are still new to crypto, those who are now smarter are all once greedy too, I was able to adjust myself because I lost money few years ago due to been too greedy but today I don't want or hunt for too huge gains anymore, I'm used to taking profits fast.

In my country we have epileptic electricity every single day, to mine in my country I choose battery backups only, instead of spending money on solar panels I buy more batteries and chargers only, so I mine with electricity for few hours and the rest through battery backups, you won't stand a chance without battery back ups

Put generosity first, explain how crypto works and also let them know how risky crypto investment is by not scaring them off, you can tell them to engage in airdrop hunts just to have ideas about how wallets work, what I've learned so far is everyone won't have interest, those who have interest will surely keep asking you questions after questions

Developers don't need to come around inside a room to build a project, I've seen project teams that are scattered around the world, even an everyone of the teams only have to do their part and contribute to the development of the project, they don't have to meet each other at all, that is a stupid and lame excuse
