Why are you both talking about the limit on funds and the maximum bet when I said that there is a reset to the initial? You can repeat it 100 times "there is no pattern, there is nothing except random" or something else, all this from the reluctance to think.

It's the same thing. By resetting it yourself you're basically setting a max bet limit for yourself. Eventually you'll lose because you'll hit your limit without the wins that you expect.

How is it possible that the game crashes below my cash-out value at 4x 2 times in a row exactly until the script stops doubling the bet?

You've heard the asnwer so many times but you refuse to accept it: "random".
122  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sell your altcoins and tokens TODAY, save yourself the frustration on: November 15, 2019, 12:56:00 AM
maybe holding bitcoin is a good idea, but the high price makes most people have it in small amounts. but, if holding coins like ethereum, BNB, LTC, I think it's still quite worth it. Well, if you hold those coins from the beginning of 2019, you have also benefited from them. like ethereum, at the beginning of the year 2019 the price was $ 133, and now the price is almost $ 200, if you have that in large quantities,  you get a profit that is not inferior to bitcoin, and this applies to altcoin which also has a price development since the beginning of the year 2019.

Both ETH and LTC are lagging BTC in 2019.

Where that frustration comes from? Unfulfilled dreams and expectations? Around this forum I see many disappointed people.
Luckily I'm not one of them, I plan to hold my alt-coins and tokens.
Some of them will go to zero, but some of them will rise high. I don't know which one, so I have both. It's risky and I know it,
we should all know that dealing with crypto-currencies can be very risky.
Don't invest more then you can lose! I don't care if I lose, but I would eat myself from the inside if I sell now and coin become
successful in the future.

I would appreciate if you could read before posting in this thread. I don't want this to become spam thread.

I had already explained many times why I created this thread and it's not frustration. Many users already said "some coins will go down some coins will go up". Please read more than just the first post and take part in the discussion. Thanks.
124  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is diversification into different coins really a good advice for Newbies? on: November 14, 2019, 03:55:42 PM
I agree that considering the degree of correlation of assets is a great way to diversify a crypto portfolio and I must admit that altcoins have a higher degree of correlation with Bitcoin because almost all of them are paired together with Bitcoin on crypto markets.

Do you mean trading pairs like ETH/BTC? I don't think that defines correlation. It's about the fact that cryptocurrencies in general belong in the same very narrow industry. Like all oil stocks go up and down in lockstep because some crown prince said something regardless if those stocks are traded against USD or EUR, cryptocurrencies also move mostly the same direction when something happens that affects the crypto industry.

By market cap (~$200 billion) this industry is similar in size to S&P airlines sector for example, and about 5% the size of banking, to give you a sense of scale, even tho stock market caps don't compare directly to crypto often fake market caps. This shows both that there is lot of space for growth and that being so tiny it can be affected by any little thing and there is not much room for diversification inside it.
125  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is diversification into different coins really a good advice for Newbies? on: November 13, 2019, 02:49:19 PM
I believe OP is correct in using the term "diversification", which refers to having altcoins instead  of having a Bitcoin only portfolio. A good analogy for this is with the case of  traditional investors who always seeks to diversify their portfolio buy acquiring different "stocks"  to minimize risks. So in essence, acquiring altcoins is still technically a form of diversification regardless if its hugely correlated to Bitcoin or not. Imho.

No, it's not diversification if the assets are not diverse. Correlation is a major factor in stock portfolio management so your analogy just confirms that it should be considered when investing in crypto as well. Low correlation can reduce risk, high correlation can increase risk.
126  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sell your altcoins and tokens TODAY, save yourself the frustration on: November 13, 2019, 01:50:31 PM
I refuse to believe that its the end for all people who hold on to altcoins for long term, i know its profitable to buy bitcoin for short term because of its quick recovery but altcoin time will return no matter how worsen things way be

I think it's the other way round, BTC wins out in the long term while some alts may or may not make gains in the short term.

There might be reasons for people to hold alts. Maybe they believe in the project and want to support it even at a loss. Maybe they need it to conduct business. But I think it's crazy to hold alts hoping for alt season that may never come and even if it comes it will not be the way most bag holders imagine it.
127  Economy / Gambling / Re: bustabit – The original crash game on: November 12, 2019, 04:17:57 PM
For rare events is made a reset to the initial bet. Doubling does not go on forever, the loss after the last unsuccessful bet is overlaps by subsequent successful ones which will go after the reset. There is a certain balance in the system of doubling bets, at some moment it ceases to work in plus and begins to increase the loss in progression.

Youre not the first one to come up with a variation of martingale that you think beats the house. But even if you had unlimited funds you still can't do it. You will always lose because of house edge and max bet size. You should create a simulation and test your strategy on millions of random crashes.
128  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sell your altcoins and tokens TODAY, save yourself the frustration on: November 12, 2019, 01:17:52 PM
If you have sold your weak coins then it is good for you but I hope those did not include the top ones. Any investment other than bitcoin, ethereum, litecoin, BNB and few others do not give any benefit. Moreover, choosing the weak coins is a big mistake. You should go for the potential assets. If you will take smart decisions, then you wont have to sell out your coins ever again. Just be clever.

Except you can't know which are weak and which are top. BNB didn't even exist a couple of years ago and it's tied to a success of one exchange, which can change in a moment. Remember Mt Gox, Cryptsy? Even Poloniex isn't doing so great. All of these use to be top exchanges at some point.

Even ETH has its problems and can flop. It's already 80% off ATH. It's not scaling well etc.

There is only one coin that's most likely to stay at the top whether the market goes up or down and that's BTC.
129  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you choose which altcoin will you buy? on: November 12, 2019, 01:04:26 PM
Nice suggestion but he is asking for any altcoin not bitcoin as you have said, OP, obviously if you want to invest on this thousands of altcoins listed on CMC why not consider choosing on top 10, its the best projects so far thats why they are listed at the top and has many supporters and huge trading volume, you can trade it anytime you want if you want to sell.

Check the top 10 coins in 2015 and let me know how many are still in the top 10. And would you have guessed back in 2015 which ones were to stay?

5 years from now BTC will still be #1. Other coins come and go.
130  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Earning Merit Points on: November 12, 2019, 12:44:15 PM
How would a person can earn merit points? Any tips?

Don't think about it, just post like you normally would post. You can never guess which posts will earn merit and which won't. I think if you try too hard other users can see that it's a forced insincere post so your chances to get merit become lower.
131  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 100% guaranteed no loosing sport betting method on: November 11, 2019, 01:21:55 PM
And it isnt really an affiliate sheme. this rebate opportunity is available for everyone. Even a person that signs up today and creates a syndicate pool qualifies for a 5% rebate. In this way they stimulate that there is enough traffic on their platform. Everyone can become a captain. From the moment you start creating syndicate pools you are a captain. And depending on your results you will receive followers on the platform that are willing to invest in your syndicate tickets

Its just the same like any other gambling site actually. if you refer people and they play than you also receive a ref commission on their wagered amount. If you only gamble with your referral commission that you received on your referrals wagers than you also are gambling risk free. So I do not understand why all the hassle about it. It just is exactly the same.

Ok, so it's a referral program, not an affiliate program, I used the incorrect lingo. The point still stands. You need to find suckers to fill your pools. And if you have enough suckers you don't need anyone to share your profits with, it doesn't make any sense. You could make a few "free" bets and make as much "free" money as you want.

There is something you're not telling us.
132  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 100% guaranteed no loosing sport betting method on: November 11, 2019, 12:50:10 PM
So I consider this risk free betting. Cause even if the ticket is loosing I receive back my stake because of the 10% rebate. So as soon I receive my weekly 750€+ minimum then I will bet for free cause I receive the 10% rebate which is equal to my personal stake in the ticket.

It's risk free for you but not risk free for the other members of the syndicate, who need to supply 90% of the stake. It's not really that different for other affiliate schemes - bring some suckers in, we'll kick some money back to you.
133  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do you choose which altcoin will you buy? on: November 11, 2019, 12:40:39 PM
Easiest choice ever. Buy the top 1 in market cap. Advantages:

  • Huge liquidity and many ways to exchange with fiat.
  • Many use cases if you want to spend it directly.
  • Solid network - lots of mining power securing it.
  • Name recognition, public acceptance etc far beyond any other coins.
134  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [What IF] Part 5 on: November 11, 2019, 12:34:28 PM
what if you suddenly see a fellow gambler that has been winning continuously (example Poker)  and it seems like he's unbeatable on that game, would you care to join him so you could also be winning? Or would you like to beat the guy on his game?

I would probably think he's cheating, so no I wouldn't join him and most definitely I wouldn't be playing against him. The other thing is that people who win a lot often end up losing a lot so I wouldn't want to get involved in that.
135  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sell your altcoins and tokens TODAY, save yourself the frustration on: November 10, 2019, 03:52:58 PM
I agree that many altcoins can be called as shitcoin and will not provide benefits if we hold them for the long term. But from so many altcoins, I think there are some altcoins that have big transactions and have good projects and in my opinion bitcoin won't continue to dominate the cryptocurrency market

The point I'm trying to make is that it's impossible to guess which altcoins are going to be the "some" that are good. And it's quite possible that none of the currently existing coins will go to the moon. There might be some new coin at some point that will repeat ETH rise for example. You simply don't know. Holding altcoin bags is like gambling. If you wouldn't go to a casino and gamble $100 at a roulette table then you shouldn't be holding $100 worth of altcoins. If you can afford to gamble $20 then maybe you can buy $20 worth of your favorite altcoin but honestly that sounds like a very boring way to gamble. I prefer a casino.
136  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Cricket Mutual betting discussion and Active betting pools log on: November 10, 2019, 03:44:44 PM
Previous Mutual betting pools

Pool name : Result : Fund collected (BTC) : Rolled over (BTC)

[Mutual betting pool] New Zealand vs England 5th and Final T20I : England won in superover : 0.001 : 0.0000
[Mutual betting pool] India vs Bangladesh 2nd T20I : India : 0.0024 : 0.0000

Shouldn't those threads be moved to the Games and rounds board? Just asking, I'm don't know enough about the rules for these boards. Or about cricket either  Wink

What's the name of the site?

This service that you're offering should be in IBG board or in services. It doesn't have anything to do with cryptocurrency gambling, you're just asking for money from other people. You're saying the site doesn't even support crypto.
138  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is diversification really a good advice for Newbies? on: November 09, 2019, 02:05:08 AM
Yes! I mean no! Smiley No, not a good advice, yes to your post. Diversifying among shitcoins is like diversifying among penny stocks. Worthless, useless, extremely risky with very limited upside. Unless you hit something like ETH was in 2016 you're not going to overcome the losses from the 99% garbage coins in your diversified portfolio. And even ETH is like 90% off ATH currently. And the next breakout coin is not going to be like ETH, so gambling on imitations like EOS is also not going to work. Even being technologically innovative is not a guarantee that it will be a good investment.

I've been agitating for selling altcoins but most users (even when you ignore signature spammers) still think that holding a shitcoin that lost 90%+ is better than selling because it might still recover. With that kind of logic unfortunately there is no hope to educate them.
139  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | The Honest Online Casino | Hop In On The Action 🇦🇺 on: November 09, 2019, 01:48:12 AM
[...]

The user with a -39 rating talking about scams is hilarious.

Sure; the qualifications for winning jackpot on dice are simply that you must roll a 2.00 and right after 8.37. What we meany by 1337 speak is that with numbers 2.00 and 8.37 spell out ROOBET (200837) Smiley

So what's the probability of that, 10000x10000 (1 in a 100 million), am I right?  Smiley

By the way the description is not very clear, it looks like these numbers mean bet size but it doesn't say so:

Quote
For each game, there are different ways one can win the whole or parts of the pot. The following determines what percentage of the pot you'll win if game requirements are met.

    Over $40.00 100%
    Over $4.00 10%
    Over $0.40 1%

Change to to something like "If you bet over $40 you're eligible to win 100% of the jackpot", you want to be very specific about rules.
140  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sell your altcoins and tokens TODAY, save yourself the frustration on: November 09, 2019, 01:31:35 AM
Probably the worst idea to sell your cheap tokens, at first you should manage better portfolio and protect from such losses. What would you get when you sell your altcoins in 90% loss?

You would get 10% which is better than zero, isn't it?

We cannot predict the future. Maybe BTC is thriving today, but tomorrow it will fall again or tomorrow shitcoin will have a price in the sky. Investing in cryptocurrencies is always dangerous. Someone will lose, some of them will be earned. What do you think ?

Those two events (BTC thriving or falling) don't have the same probability so it's unfair to present it as some sort of equivalency. And if BTC falls then alts most likely will fall too. Stick with the leader.
