Thanks, let's hope we get a price rise coz everyone else is accumulating way too much and catching us all up, last thing grid needs now is a big dump. When I got my first grid you only required 10k to get on the distribution list Now you need 100k plus
What distribution list?

what means the buy of 45BTC @100 ?
Just for creating fake buy supportThat's quite a bold statement

Does anyone here have a wallet that's up to date? Or can anyone get connections on the network? Mine isn't synchronizing but I still see activity in the block explorer.
Have you created a Keycoin.conf file? Go to Control Panel In the Search box, type Folder Click "Folder Options" Click the tab that says View Make sure there is no check in the box for "Hide file extensions for known file types" (de-select this option and click OK) Exit Control Panel On Windows 8, right-click the start button and select "Run" (for Windows 7, left-click the start button and type "run" into "Search Programs and Files", then click Run at the top of the list) In "Run", type %appdata% and press Enter It will open the folder located at Appdata/Roaming, and there will be a Keycoin folder there Open the Keycoin folder Right-click the empty space in the folder and select Create New File - create a new Text document Open the document with Notepad Paste the following into the file: addnode=68.118.62.156 addnode=82.156.89.64 addnode=98.175.59.71 addnode=107.170.153.13 addnode=178.62.54.145 addnode=137.175.198 addnode=188.134.72.213 addnode=68.101.51.124 addnode=204.11.237.74 addnode=96.11.62.114 addnode=137.135.60.66 addnode=212.160.231.217 addnode=150.101.188.160 addnode=198.199.102.165 addnode=217.40.200.248 addnode=37.187.144.69 addnode=93.103.8.223 addnode=50.76.237.74 addnode=74.248.49.214 addnode=188.165.2.147 addnode=108.163.197.58 addnode=217.75.69.200 Save the file. Re-name the document Keycoin.conf (filetype .conf, not .txt) Delete the file peers.dat (a new one will be created when you restart the wallet) Restart your Keycoin wallet. If it doesn't connect immediately, leave it running for awhile. I have a wallet that runs constantly, but it's at work so I'll check the configuration I have on that one tomorrow and update this post if necessary. Cool thanks, I'll try that in the morning. I moved the wallet from one linux computer to another so I had to have screwed something up there.

Is your computer on a wired connection?
Yes. That's a fairly common linux issue. You'll either need make sure it's using the right network adapter, or google the exact model of the adapter/interface you have and see if someone solved it already.

Awesomeness!! Thanks so much. For my UEFI BIOS I have to press F2 then I press F8 to open boot menu. Then I click on the USB and it loads up. Got to say that the graphics are amazing! Yet I'm getting an error no matter if I load up KeyOS (Live) or KeyOS (with persistance). The same error pops up: "A fatal error occurred. KeyCoin can no longer continue safely and will quit. Exception: St13runtime_error CDB():can't open databasefile.error21 Keycoin is Runaway exception"
What am I doing wrong? Sorry for my noobness to such a system. I have very little computer science savvy-ness. Any help appreciated.
And again. WOW!!! What an amazing system!! Thanks so much Dev's. Can't wait to learn more about it!
Assuming that you haven't transferred any coins to the KeyOS wallet yet... -Open up terminal -Type this command then hit enter: rm -r ~/.KeyCoin -Then type "KeyCoin" (without the quotes) and hit enter. That will run the wallet for as long as the terminal is open. I assume the wallet has some sort of auto-start thing set up, so if you don't get the same error as before I would just reboot back into KeyOS again and it should execute normally. Then for the staking thing, I have no idea. I'm yet to wrap my mind around PoS. Terminal?? Where is that? I tried the "Run" option in the bottom left start menu. Typed the code in and nothing happened. Rebooted and same error. I just tried out KeyOS myself and got the same error. So yeah to open terminal you click on the KeyCoin logo in the bottom left corner, then go to Accessories and click on LXTerminal Then do: mv .KeyCoin/KeyCoin.conf Desktop (don't forget that dot in front of KeyCoin) Then: rm -r .KeyCoin Then: mkdir .KeyCoin && mv Desktop/KeyCoin.conf .KeyCoin then close terminal, and double-click KeyCoin-qt on the desktop

Reboot your computer with the drive plugged in, then at the first screen (which probably shows your computer's brand) look for an option that says "boot options". It's most likely the F12 key. Actually you can probably just reboot then mash the F12 key a bunch until that BIOS screen pops up. Select the usb drive then hit enter. When you're done, just reboot and you'll be back in Windows.

I just realized there's a KeyCoin subreddit!: http://www.reddit.com/r/KeyCoin/Nobody has posted there for the past month, and there are <10 subscribers. Can you guys help me bring some discussion over there? Lots of people (understandably) don't come over here to BCT for their information, so I think it can be a great avenue to get some more exposure.

What price are you guys holding key for in the medium and long term?
I'd tell you but then I'd have to kill you. Just kidding, I don't really trade anymore so... 3.2k, 4.5k, 5.9k, infinity

Edit: back-up your wallet before doing anything!
thank you, ive decided to uninstall for fresh peace of mind and start over. no biggie. im a holder i got time for a resync. it seems to be going fine. cant wait to get OS and trader up. That's probably the best thing to do. And yeah, I'm excited to try out KeyOS and KeyTrader as well. I keep forgetting to get a new usb drive since mine are all in a different ciry, and I have too many distros installed already. cheers

pardon me, i dont wanna read 30 pages of awesome. could a kind laddy please inform me of this error i just received upon installing keyQt for the first time from the link in OP downloads section for windows? thank you kindly. http://imgur.com/zB7u3grI did some googling and it seems that problem is caused by level db's index getting corrupted. You'll probably need to re-download the blockchain or import it from a different computer Edit: probably not necessary. Here's a procedure that someone posted, though maybe one of the devs can explain it better (obviously replace HoboNickels with KeyCoin): #1 shutdown client #2 remove %appdata%\HoboNickels\txleveldb folder #3 start the client up with the following switch -loadblock=%appdata%\HoboNickels\blk0001.dat This will re-index the level db directory. I know there was a problem with Macs and level db becoming corrupt due to differences in how it's file handles worked. It actually took the core bitcoin dev team a while to solve. I wonder if there is something similar in win 8.1
