Could you explain the difference in price for me on the signature campaign? Is one for design and development? Do you design them?

I have been following FileCoin for a while. It is a very interesting concept and very similar to the one on the tv show Silicon Valley.

My only concern with the idea is illegal / inappropriate content. I worry that it can be used to hide these file stores and that they could potentially be used against the host.

Why would you not pay a 54 bill of a service you are trying to sell for 2000? Then drop it by 1000? It makes absolutely no sense unless your intentions were malicious.

Have you thought about standing up an instance with Bitcoin core and interacting directly with the RPC?

It may not be the most cost effective solution but it offers you the most control in the long run. You can still used derived keys for your cold storage etc.

I do appreciate you leaving me out of it and I have done the same by being kinder to your questions and comments. NotTardy is history for us and I was aware of the hash issues but I still wanted to do my diligence in case there was something that we missed.

The article references a type of man in the middle attack with SMS messages. While harder, it is still possible to have your 2fa device breached with an app such as Authy as a copy of the data can be stored in your devices cloud backup.

You take steps to protect yourself by using a separate, non-service connected device to handle 2fa requests. You should also disable backups and use long complex passwords.

I do not remember the exact context of out conversation but I believe hiring a developer was in reference to clearing the error on your end so the user didn't have to login / out. I admit there was issues with hash errors but in some cases sites were pulling two hashes and mixing up sessions. I am not sure if your site was one of them. Regardless of the matter, hash errors have been resolved and there has not been any issue with v2 hashing.

As for responding to you post, I felt that you were trying to bait me as you said your app was coming back independently. That post was geared towards app owners that had an active app when we migrated to v2. Later down the road we will once again open the API to new and inactive apps.

I feel that you and I personally have resolved some of our issues and I wanted to continue down the path of doing such. I don't handle business matters and frankly am just a developer. I'm not your enemy.

The wallet functionality is up and running on MoneyPot.com. There is still a few coins that we are in the process of adding, but right now LTC, BTC, and Dash are live.

JPR is correct that only six of the featured apps have migrated so far. As far as I know, there may be a few others that have been updated that are not on the featured app list.

Migration can be a little challenging in some areas because of the updated API calls and the restructuring of the API response for alt coins. Additionally since this has been a soft launch, we have not opened the API to new developers yet or published any formal documentation.

I cannot speak on behalf of BetterBets, but I personally reached out to every app owner (BB included) in which I had contact information for.

If any MoneyPot app owner is having trouble upgrading to version 2, please reach out to me so that we can schedule a one-on-one session in which I can provide my assistance.

I try not to get myself involved with business related matters, but here it goes:

When I took over lead development last year I made a commitment to all of our players and the MoneyPot ownership group that I would do right by them and deliver products in a timely and orderly fashion. Almost right away I was tasked with integrating alt coin support and implementing version 2 of our platform.

After extensive research into our version 1 platform I determined that it would be a better solution to completely redevelop the core MoneyPot application from the ground up and scrap what was previously developed for version 2. I want to make it clear that version 1 was extremely well written and I offer my gratitude to the previous developer(s) as the application served its purpose well with little to no flaws.  The problem however was the fact that the application was not written with alt coin support in mind and did not offer the flexibility to do so without needing to be drastically overhauled.

Initially the plan was to implement alts into version 1 and then release version 2 with other exciting features at a later date. I pushed back hard on the ownership and after demonstrating how it would be more efficient and beneficial to our future to do it my way they reluctantly agreed.  They knew it would make our customers unhappy, but they also understood why it needed to be done.

I know that the schedule has changed on several occasions and I am likely to blame for that. MoneyPot is an extremely complex financial application with several moving parts. I was not, and will not release an application that is not ready for production for the sake of just getting it out. There was no need to prove MVP here as one could argue MoneyPot was already in that state.  How would you feel if your bank released their software without careful review? Its a recipe for disaster and any confident engineer would agree.

So, if you need someone to blame, blame it on me, and not the ownership group. Despite popular belief and all of the attacks on them, the owners have been working non-stop around the clock forfeiting activities with their families and large amounts of sleep to work in the best interest of everyone. I really wish that you guys knew how hard that they have pushed to succeed and had the opportunity to actually get to know them like I have over the last year and a half. They truly have become some of my best friends and have become damn near close to family!

Version 2 of MoneyPot has been soft launched with wallet support for BTC, LTC and Dash. One application currently supports wagering with alts and another is coming this weekend. Version 2 features a new algorithm with some amazing features that I can't even share yet. App owners are getting a portal that puts them in more control of their apps and provides them with extensive data points that they have never had access to before.

To those who want to invest, I do wish you luck as I wish you luck with all of your financial decisions. I can't guarantee you returns, but what I do promise you is that you will be getting a team standing behind you that truly cares about every piece of this complex puzzle.
