In my opinion It will not kill the traditional banking. I think the both will co-exist and work together with the traditional banking serving as off chain
No one can predict the future. All we do is to assume but i thin its really is so hard to destroy the traditional banking and Blockchain will be a good helping hand for those banks to improve their service and transaction speed. I suggest you if you can handle both trade or invest its good. If you can learn how to trade cryptocurrency much better and read and learn How to invest here in bitcoin try to buy coins and hold it for a long term. But its yours what do you want to do. Trading and investing is not comparable, there are a lot of people today who are investing a huge amount of coins and focus to work on the corporate world in order to have a monthly income or you can focus on trading in the market and work at home. For me i think investing is better, especially investing in bitcoin. Because at bitcoin we can see the rise and fall of the price curve itself, so we'll know when to invest in buying stocks and when to sell stocks. While if we trade it can be profitable but on the other hand, we have to work alone by peddling merchandise, unlike our investments that can sit back while waiting for results. |

My strategy is the simpliest one. Buy low and I will wait until the price go up and sell high but sometimes I have a goal like 5%-10% profit until I will sell it.
Yes its true and trading must be good if you really do it but gambling doesnt have a 50% chance, it will be low precentage to hit the jackpot tough but still there are some people out there that have a really good luck so may be they will give it a try. And you need to know when to stop playing and dont be to greedy you can earn some buy gambling too. |

I have come to realize in recent time that holding bitcoin in ones wallet is more profitable and a little bit risk free as compared to trading altcoin or what do you think ?
in my opinion holding bitcoin will be more profitable and possibly risk free, because by holding we will know better when to sell it. by holding back we can monitor the price for high first, but it takes quite a long time, therefore it is not easy to hold bitcoin. and it takes extra patience. Behind your patience in holding bitcoin, chances are you will get a pretty big profit. compared to when to choose to sell altcoin the risk is likely to be higher if you are not careful. Bitcoin price increase and hope next its big pump.So hold your bitcoin and you will be sure profitable.But altcoin is hard to predict this.I was bought many coins deposit my bitcoin but all loses so i deside i am never invest on trade. I think trade need luck and hard working people.Now i am only hold bitcoin for long time. I am also love bitcoin because its not disapointed me. |

I have never experienced forex but i have heard much about it that it us much more risky than crypo. Right now my plan is that i will try doing crypto for it is now the main thing now, just look at the prices and the various increase in its prices. No one knows when and what is the bottom price for bitcoin. If you don't need the money that you are going to buy into bitcoin and don't mind to hold it for a long period of time. Use dollar cost average because it appears on a bear market.

Sell only if you really need the money! More reasons to sell I do not see, everything grows and falls always, the main thing to believe in projects in which you invest and not to succumb to General panic.
Unless you earn your altcoins through different means like campaigns then I don't think that there is a problem selling them unless you want to see them increase in value and hold them but with the risk of rendering them with less value on what you have now. Regardless if you want to play it safe then sell your altcoins now but if not then hold it and wait for the market price to increase. |

Newbies must move according to the discipline and first learn all things about bitcoin and then start trading and don’t take high risk in start because a person who is new to field has most probability if loss so keep on learning from the experience of others and when a person get internal satisfaction that he can do better then he must get into full trading and start it I am sure through this approach no one will meet loss.
I think initially when you put money into it you don't even know what to do. If you want to trade then firstly you must know all the basic rules of trading. So in trading how do you deal with loss? For example you've invested in an alt and now it has fallen quite hard and you're on the brink of losing all your bitcoin you invested in it.
How do you actually deal with it? Do you wait and keep on waiting in hope that it will bounce back up and return your investment or you sell and get whatever left of your investment?
I face the loss patiently and hold, as long as the price is still below and has not risen then I will hold forever, because if I panic selling then I will loss, so the key to success in trading if the price fall must hold until the price back up again, otherwise like that then the loss will be obtained. Actually what I did when I realized bitcoin and all the altcoins are dumping I stopped looking or even peaking at those trading sites so I won't be tempted to withdraw my holdings or whatever is left of it. So I will just hold them until August 1 is done then I'll take a look at some sites to see if they're trying to recover or what. |

Hello I don’t understand I bought for 4000 Eur one hour ago of Ethereum when it was going up, it stayed around the 10-20%, it started to decrease 5 minutes ago so I sold it and now cex.io just gave me 3500eur for it... wtf...  The %came from me watching livecoinwatch.. Cex.io doesn’t have the accurate price ?? There are fee's when you trade and different exchange site has different price though quite close with each other. You should try to do a little more research how trading works and what are the rules of exchange site you are going to use. Although i am also a trader but I'm also curious why there's always loses whenever doing trading. I am also one of those readers in his forum looking for an answer on how to win in trading. Because I am still new to this kind of business also called the world of digital currency that's why I'm still doing a massive research and study on how to trade. |

There is only one basic rule in trading: buy low and sell high - LoL.
But to achieve this you need to study, you will not learn it here on a Bitcointalk thread. Go on youtube and look for trading tutorials, spend weeks studying the issue before risking real money.
I think you need to think for some good period of time before even making this decision of getting into trading as there are number of traders who have already quitted doing trading and that too just because of the tremendous loss which they suffered while doing so. If you are mentally prepared to face such kind of circumstances, then you need to get some good amount of knowledge related to trading. |
