Boards 0-50 have SERIOUS issues, later boards just issues Sad
"Serious" as in "cannot be fixed in software"? I'm rather concerned because I have "pre-50" board.

Yohan, can you comment on this?

Does twin_test.bit run stable on your board?
122  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Bounty: a bitstream for better utilizing the Cairnsmore1 143-243btc on: July 31, 2012, 11:13:25 AM
Makomk's 190Mh bitstream have qualified for the bounty!

760Mh on 8 of my 10 boards, the 2 boards are not stable on the 0/1 pair and running the 180Mh bitstream on this pair. I think that is no bitstream issue, it's hardware.

I have allready donated some btc to him, thats why i'm not donated to the threads bounty wallet address.

You are awfully eager to declare the winner of a bounty you didn't even participate in don't you think?

190 fails Icarus detect in CGminer every time I try it.

What serial number is the board you are testing on?
123  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Quad XC6SLX150 Board - Initial Price £400/$640/520€ on: July 31, 2012, 10:09:04 AM
Hi,

I have a question: do the boards have a serial number? I mean, not the one written on the outside, but one that can be used to write an udev rule so that the same board ends up on the same ttyUSBnn no matter what cable/usb hub port I'm using.

spiccioli.

ps. I'm giving up on bitstreams Sad , either boards below serial 400 have issues or the 160 bitstream does have problems. I can't mine for more than a few hours, sometimes even ony few minutes, before cgminer tells me they failed. with twin_test.bit I could mine for weeks without problems, slowly, but without problems.

I think atleast boards 0-50 have issues. Not sure about 50-400.

According to ticket responses the review is complete and they're working through the backlog. They'll update the status message to say when they expect the backlogs to be cleared.

Interesting. I'm waiting to see some withdrawal proofs to be honest

126  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: 58xx Card Power Consumption on: July 24, 2012, 11:15:17 AM
I'm looking for some power consumption numbers so I can correctly choose the power supply to run my rigs with.

I'd like some accurate information on the following:

5870 power consumption while mining @ 900/300 1.1v

5850 power consumption while mining @ 900/300 1.1v

5830 power consumption while mining @ 900/300 1.1v

Thanks in advance to anyone who helps me out. Smiley

Use this calculator, it will tell you what you need http://extreme.outervision.com/psucalculatorlite.jsp

2 * C1 boards arrived in regional SE Australia less than a week after posting from UK. Great service from the Everpoint team.

The babies worked out of the box. Took a few hours to get my head around some initial set up issues but happily mining away.

Now I am just hanging out for an improved bitstream to really vamp these boards up. Anyone got any clues on ETAs?

I am jealous!

Spent ages tweaking my boards trying to get them functioning stable and at stated icarus hashrate and now they're just getting boxed back up to be replaced Sad

Small withdraw of like £159 was set to "Sent" (not pending) last Tuesday, still not in bank - suspect xfer was never initiated.

UK BACS takes 3 working days max normally.

I accidentally marked a bunch of payments as sent which shouldn't have been.

Mostly this effected people with bitcoin transfers (almost all of which have now been corrected), but some UK transfers were also effected.

If a UK transfer is marked as 'sent' and you have not received it after 48 hours open a ticket and someone will investigate.

Hi phantom.

I have put in a UK withdrawal request and a support ticket, could you please review them for me?

Regards
129  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: DeepBit, Ozcoin and Slush's pool PPS 1.5% to 2% on: July 23, 2012, 10:44:25 PM
Why would anyone want to pay a fee to reduce variance when they can just use a no fee PPS pool?

I'd rather have variance than more fees...

If you think this as an investment, then its terrible. How many ppl have got these board worked at intended speed? and if you did, for how long? I'm not a technical person but spending a month of tinkering is not acceptable. Maybe we should now know why BFL had a long waiting for their production.

As a potential customer, may i know exactly why you sell the boards without a working bitstream?

It was sold as a DEVELOPMENT BOARD.

If you had really been following the thread "very closely", you would know this.

BFL is completely different. They have a working bitstream already, and they take money upfront, without shipping anything for months after the quoted delivery time. If you'd rather buy from them, go ahead I say. Enjoy waiting months for your board for no reason whatsoever other than incompetence...

Okay now I'm convinced there's something seriously wrong with my two Cairnsmore1 boards.

After trying again today to get them working at full speed, I was flashing Rev 1.2 onto both of my boards using SPIProg.exe, I turned the power off to the boards, then turned it back on. I noticed that one of my boards had different LEDs lit to the other board, even though they were using the exact same documented DIP switch settings

norulezapply,

this is a bug of revision 1.2, sometimes when starting up you get blue/red leds light up.

If you flash revision 1.3 this problem is fixed.

spiccioli.

Hmm.

The reason I was trying 1.2 was because I'm not getting stable or full hashrates with 1.3.

If it is just a bug with 1.2, how come the same thing is not happening with my 2nd board when I flash it with 1.2? :S

I tried powering off and on again, and strangely enough, the LEDs matched this time.

I tried it again and they were different again.

To be honest I have no idea what is going on now with my boards. It appears that the controller is not being flashed correctly and that it is reverting back controller revisions after power cycling? Or something possibly could be wrong with my DIP switches and they are malfunctioning?

Either way, all I have at the moment is two very strange boards that net 100Mhash/s each if i'm lucky.
I hope Enterpoint can get this sorted out soon??

The facts are someone failed to pay back customers of Bitcoinica. This is what matters. Since noone really tells us who the fuck owns Bitcoinica it is clear customers will blame the operators. Would the operators be so kind to tell us as to where we can address our losses? And don't give me this New Zealand shit.

I'm not defending anyone here, but please can we keep this thread free of bitcoinica stuff and only about intersango.

+1.

Please post in the other thread for this.

What's the status on UK bank withdrawals today? They all processing okay?
134  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Intersango Exchange on: July 20, 2012, 12:14:39 PM
i have had a uk cash withdrawal stuck in "requested" status since the 17th, i have contacted them multiple times, and each time they say it will be done, but then don't do it.

You perhaps need to give them some respect first.

thank you for that random comment,

that would certainly be an interesting business model for them, though not one that works with the public,

I was very nice with my messages, then in the last message from them a guy told me it would be done that night, and it didn't happen, and I was a bit more straight forward with my reply style,

I posted this because somebody asked for confirmation of uk withdrawals still happening.

Interesting, but not a huge delay atleast. Thank you for the post.

Nonetheless, if they've said they'd do it then it should've been done by now really..

Yohan, are there instructions for setting up the stacking kits? I'm just not understanding how the sticks screw together.  Huh
Seriously? =D They just screw into eachother man. There aren't that many different combinations..
136  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Intersango Exchange on: July 19, 2012, 08:35:03 PM
Intersango GBP deposits are usually fast but its now been over 24hrs since I made my transfer  Huh  What happened to deposits being processes seven times a day  Huh

Last withdrawal I made a month ago didn't go through for a good week or so until I contacted support and asked them about it.

Not sure what the state of withdrawals is at the moment though. I'd definitely like to find out though as I've got coins waiting for a buyer...

I have better things to do than review the entire SQL dump for bitcoinconsultancy.com

How about replying to my question about intersango withdrawals?

For your convienience, I'll post it again here:

Quote
Patrick what's happening with the withdrawals?

Are they down until the 26th to the 30th?

Or are they down now until the some time between the 26th and 30th?

I am also worried about leaving any BTC / GBP on this exchange.

Someone needs to confirm they have received withdrawals in their UK bank accounts from these guys in the last days or so before I can trust them ...

I hate to do this but....

FastCash4Bitcoins?

Our PayPal payouts are NOT gift/personal payments.  PayPal will block an account which receives an excessive amount of "gifts".  All PayPal fees are included in our quoted rate.  We payout in USD but PayPal will convert for international accounts denominated in other currencies.

Cool. I'll check it out but I think the fees will probably be too high if it's not a gift or personal payment.
