Intersango GBP deposits are usually fast but its now been over 24hrs since I made my transfer  Huh  What happened to deposits being processes seven times a day  Huh

If you're waiting on a deposit there is something wrong with your specific transfer.

You perhaps need to give them some respect first.

Grin I propose a "give respect" button in the interface to speed things up.

thank you for that random comment,

that would certainly be an interesting business model for them, though not one that works with the public,

I was very nice with my messages, then in the last message from them a guy told me it would be done that night, and it didn't happen, and I was a bit more straight forward with my reply style,

I posted this because somebody asked for confirmation of uk withdrawals still happening.

I suggest choosing a bigger font and design for the button. Along the lines of R E S P E C T

Interesting, but not a huge delay atleast. Thank you for the post.

Nonetheless, if they've said they'd do it then it should've been done by now really..

My last GBP withdrawal went into my bank account on, I think, the 16th after waiting several days over the weekend. No idea what withdrawals have been like since then. Looking in IRC phantomcircuit claimed that the web banking interface to their GBP account wasn't working last night when he went to do a batch of withdrawals, so in theory no-one should've got any overnight.

Sorry about that, I fully intended to do them but was unable to due to a technical error with metro (yes it literally just says "Technical error").

I put in a call to them this morning (uk time), but I tried just now and it's still giving the same error.

Just got off the phone with Metro.

Lady said they're looking into it and someone will call when it's been resolved.

Is this affecting deposits as well? Because I've made one today (from barclays) and been waiting all day for it to show up, usually it only takes couple of hours.

The script had a bad login which causes a 2 hour wait period.

Should show up within the next hour or so.

Still not showing. And it won't let me create a support ticket since it has not been 1 business day :p Anything else you can now do without it?

Unfortunately not really, I would guess that either the payment hasn't really been sent (surprisingly common), the reference code was mangled in transit (hilariously common), or it's on fraud hold at either your bank or metro (not common, but not rare).

Hehe, it actually had been held up yesterday (that's when I actually put the transfer on) for "security checks" and they released it today. Maybe held up at metro as well;)

The Intersango team were going to take over operation (not ownership) of Bitcoinica until the 2nd hack.

I still use Intersango. It is still to this date the most reliable and secure trading platform in the Bitcoin economy. The troubles with Bitcoinica did make me worry and I did reduce the amount of money I hold at Intersango but I'm still using it and I wouldn't recommend not using it.

Denarium closing sale discounts now up to 43%! Check out our products from here!

plus, we should add the fact that this "deal" included an exchange of shares.
Thus, the 3 intersango guys got shares of Bitcoinica (correct? ) and in exchange, the owners of Bitcoinica (an investment fund) got shares of Intersango. Well. Right now it looks like these two parties will engage into a legal battle about who was liable for what during the Bitcoinica breakdown.

On the long run, this might endanger Intersango, either directly or indirectly
