121  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: 21.5 BTC TAKEN BY SPORTSBET.IO on: April 18, 2017, 09:54:54 AM
Id like to thank this community for assisting me in recovering my stolen funds, I honestly thought I would just be ignored or only get 1 or 2 replies. But I am overwhelmed by the support offered by some of the people in this forum. Hopefully when this is over I can offer a few of you a reward.

thank you all, I have not forgotten my promise to reward community members who have assisted me.

I will provide a detailed update to the community on the situation tomorrow once I receive my 15 BTC.

Well, that's nice to hear for sure.

Hopefully you do get your money back but it seems very unlikely they would not pay you as they have already promised in public in front of all of our eyes. I mean the move by them might be questionable but after all they do have a licence and have a reputation in the community before all this happened.

Good luck with the reclaiming process, all the best to you!
122  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: My Portfolio on: April 18, 2017, 08:59:12 AM
Some have asked me to post my trading history so I'll do it in this thread. This is always open for discussion and we hope we can find the solid coins together.

These are all the ones I own right now. Watching lots more. The only one that isn’t up is MAID and it is holding up nicely when the others dropped. I feel it will rise soon. Just patient.

KMD
BAY – on bittrex
STRAT
MAID
GAME
BURST
ETC

This is a great idea to list all your trades publicly, however you should also post percentages of each coin that you are currently holding in relation to your entire portfolio size daily.

I believe that would make it so much better for people looking at your thread, as they can follow your trades exactly how you do it.

Plus, you'll gain reputation as a good trader if you do that! Cheesy
123  Economy / Lending / Re: 0.012 BTC LOAN, GET 0.015 IN 2 WEEKS on: April 18, 2017, 08:48:31 AM
I am able to fill this loan OP, if you still need it.

However I'll need 12,000 Concoins as collateral, as that is around 120% of the loan's value. I am really being generous here as most lenders will consider Concoins as a very volatile altcoin, and relatively newly launched as well even though the team is obviously been there for years. I will have to set a sell order for when the collateral drops to 100% of loan value though, if that is ever going to happen.

Let me know. We can use escrow to hold the collateral.
124  Economy / Lending / Re: need +20% on: April 18, 2017, 08:45:09 AM
I offered These accounts, because i am known there.
I dont really have a collateral like These, when i would have altcoins i Could just Exchange Them.

That is NOT valid collateral.

You cannot liquidate these accounts as a lender, making it worthless essentially when you default on a loan. Especially when your reputation is already tainted which makes your accounts worth even less.

Also 1.5 BTC wagered is nothing, you can play with 0.01 BTC and get that amount wagered easily.
125  Economy / Lending / Re: Need $2 on: April 18, 2017, 08:43:24 AM
I think the aim of the op is to hope to get a green trust review on this loan, seriously who would loan $2?  Cheesy

Actually $2 can buy you a lot of things in the online world. For example a subscription.

However I don't necessarily agree with the lender lending money to OP. First of all he is a known hacker and scammer, and if he loans to neg trusted people it'll just establish a trend of lending to neg trust people, and people will think scamming is okay.

Just my 2 cents
126  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] CONCOIN - The most dangerous cryptocurrency in the world™ on: April 18, 2017, 08:40:08 AM
is this thing real or just some sum up introduction?

A coin for people who in prisons and warden?

Idea is good but really the 9 prisons are using it now?

Apparently yes.

I think the main idea of this coin is provide inmates with another option for payment.

Obviously, not all of them will like the idea, and definitely not all of them will even know how to use the cryptocurrency.

It's interesting though.
127  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which is better? crypto coin to crypto coin OR crypto coin to fiat money? on: April 18, 2017, 07:30:25 AM
What trading method/style do you use? Is it crypto coin to crypto coin (Ex. BTC/ETH, BTC/DASH, ..)  or crypto coin to fiat money (Ex. BTC/USD, ETH/EURO, ..)? Why do you prefer that style and why not the other one?

Usually crypto-crypto has lower spreads, meaning that if you are a trader that takes advantage of the spreads by buying and selling actively on each sides then it isn't really for you.

I suggest that if you want to make some real money, you'll have to trade with fiat. Get an account on every exchange, especially Localbitcoins and Paxful. Lots of buyers of bitcoin that want to pay in for example gift cards, and if you have a method to cash out these gift cards then you're in luck for cash.
128  Economy / Lending / Re: Favour's Lending Service ~ Low Interest ~ No collateral needed on: April 18, 2017, 07:28:25 AM
Thanks. Everyone who I have given negative trust hasn't paid me. The moment they pay, I shall remove the trust. I have managed to get the IPs of 2 of them and am working on reports, and am still working on the rest as well.

You should either start a thread in the scam accusation thread or at the very least, post the list here.

That's everyone on his neg trust list so far.

Some of the accounts haven't even logged in after they took out the loan. Obviously no intent in paying it back.

Well, all we can do is splash some Red Paint TM about and see what happens.  Thanks for the list.

No problems, they deserve that red paint.

As to favours, I guess it isn't a good idea to loan people with no trust history and based on their rank. You did a good job of at least pausing the loans, so that you can at least limit the damages done.
129  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Escrow service recemmendation on: April 17, 2017, 11:48:19 PM
Can people recommend a good (honest) escrow service?

Thanks a lot, folks, this is a great board.

Talk to you all later.

I would definitely suggest either sebastianju: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=18640

Or Ognasty - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=18321

Pretty much the best 2 escrows you'll find on the forum, and most trustworthy.

They have suspended all FIAT deposits as well as USD withdrawal.

April 13 Announcement: https://www.bitfinex.com/posts/199

Reddit on Panic: https://www.reddit.com/r/BitcoinMarkets/comments/65vygu/bitfinex_stopping_money_deposits_while_we_develop/

Yeah, I think so.

Bitfinex is going to either clear up its name again as surprisingly as it did with the BFX token sale, or it's going to go scam. And I believe that it is going to be the next week that's going to be the most important for Bitfinex.

Obviously not a wise thing to hold anything on bitfinex right now, get everything out as fast as you can. Also apparently tether.to is also owned by bitfinex so... Don't invest.

132  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Avoid Casinos With Max Bet Rules on: April 17, 2017, 11:37:00 PM
More and more casinos are adding this crappy .025 max bet rule with bonuses. I will be avoiding these casinos as they are predatory terms. If you accept a bet you should pay a bet. It seems most swiss soft casinos are adding this term. Just the amount of bonus wagering requirement alone, is heavily in the casino favor and to restrict someone to just .025 max bet is wrong. Especially if they are a table game player.

You should really make the title clearer.

Every casino has max bet rules. Even the ones in Vegas.

There is a limit to their bankroll and obviously if a whale comes and had 100x more money than the casino itself, he has a high chance of winning everything that the casino has.

What you're referring to is really max bet rules on bonuses. These are sneaky, i agree.

134  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: PIVX v.s ARK ? on: April 17, 2017, 11:25:34 PM
I would say that pivx is probably better investment than ark at this moment.

However that is only if you really need to choose between the two. I mean there are a lot of better altcoin ICOs and new altcoins out there that you can take a look at in the altcoin announcement section that will probably result in better yields.

Good luck
135  Economy / Economics / Re: The Rise of Pegged Cryptocurrency on: April 17, 2017, 11:18:37 PM
1. How important is the role that cryptocurrencies like Tether.to will play in the blockchain economy.
2. How is it possible to build real business that rely on a stable trading environment to make profit.
3. Is everyone going to create their own pegged token in the future.
4. Would you trade your bitcoin into a pegged token if you were guaranteed 5% every 30 days

I'm very interested in your feed back.

There are certainly a lot of pegged cryptos right now out there.

To oanswer your questions, personally I think that pegged cryptos aren't that good of a thing because usually they are backed by trust and "reserves" that the company issuing the tokens might hold.

If you look at the different types of pegs, for example, Tether USD and Bitshares, you realise that with Tether USD there isn't much of a difference between that and Paypal or Perfectmoney. Whilst Bitshares tokens issued on its network isn't backed by anything but Bitshares itself, and when bitshares crashes then there is a high chance that you'll lose money.

And 5% per month? That sounds too high to be true. I know that BitUSD and these assets offer interest, but definitely not 5% per month.
136  Economy / Exchanges / Re: [Exchange] Liqui - trade and earn 24 APR on BTC, ETH on: April 17, 2017, 11:15:18 PM
Margin trading coming Smiley https://liqui.io/Margin

That would be great.

Also when will there be an option for someone to lend to the margin traders to make a profit on his investment? Just like the lending mechanisms on Poloniex and Bitfinex. Or will that be implemented as soon as margin trading comes out?

Thanks
137  Other / Off-topic / Re: 8-Year-Old Ohio Boy Drives His Little Sister to McDonald's After Learning... on: April 17, 2017, 11:12:33 PM
I'm lucky we have MacDonald's which is a 5 minute walk from our home. So I can sleep at night knowing that my car is safe from my kids getting cheeseburgers with fries to go please.  Grin
Probably be safer for the kids to risk driving than walking the streets at that time of the night in this messed up world.

This will make a great story at both the kids 21st party speeches

Lol, funny but actually true i guess.

At least the kid knew where to seek advice before he actually starting driving that car. I mean the training that adults receive aren't that much more advanced compared to youtube clips either Tongue

Was the vehicle automatic or manual?

i'm interested in this too. my dog can drive an auto. this is hardly the achievement of the century but i'm glad everybody's ok.

yeah me too, just glad everyone's alive and well Smiley
138  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: About the USDT on: April 17, 2017, 10:38:37 PM
USDT's price is consistently adjusted to be equal to 1 dollar. Users at poloniex.com use this instead of dollars.

How do they make the USDT equal to 1 dollar I wonder?
Are they also used in other places than poloniex.com? Are there other platforms we can trade USDT?

They do it through centralisation and that's basically what every money transmitting company does.

They claim to have full reserves, but obviously you have no idea even if they publish their figures because there is no third party audits that I am aware of conducted upon their reserves.

And there is always a risk of them refusing withdrawals as they are a centralised company. If that happens then your tokens are worthless.
139  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: YO-EX Scam Exchange signature campaign on: April 17, 2017, 10:35:31 PM
You deserve a ban even if you had not been listed as a "post burster".

Your posts are all one liners, with no value in them whatsoever.

Also may I suggest that you remove the terrible things you are talking about against the Yo-ex exchange because they have no control over the situation. They hired yahoo as their campaign manager, and if you have a problem you should talk to Yahoo, not add thousands of things in your profile that leads to Yo-ex being a scam company, which you have absolutely no proof of.
140  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Facebook 'Live' killer threatens to continue murder spree!!! on: April 17, 2017, 10:29:42 PM
I honestly don't understand what's going on in this world at this point. It looks like this guy killed 13 people and he is planning to kill more until they catch him.

https://www.thesun.co.uk/news/3345111/cleveland-facebook-live-shooting-steve-stephens-easter-day-slaughter/

No idea why he's doing it, no idea what his motives are.

But what we do know is that he is killing people, and that's all that matters in my opinion.

He seems to be targeting random people, just walking up the street and shooting whoever he sees... I mean that's the scariest part, hopefully people in Cleveland can stay safe.
