Dev,
Can you reach out to Cryptrader.com about the re-brand (their Bittrex DOGED chart no longer works)? Or, is that something you want users to do? I ask because I want to avoid speaking out of turn if can.

Here's what I was able to find, check for volume and market cap for the most widely used. Monero Shadowcash Darknote Dash Boostcoin X11coin X13coin Cloakcoin Cryptcoin DigiByte BitcoinDark DogecoinDark Stealthcoin https://z.cash/I don't really think these coins are important, they have speculative value and are quite good for trading, I have made several profitable trades with some of these. Just a clarification - DogecoinDark is now Verge. It uses i2p/tor for privacy enhancements, they have an electrum wallet too. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1365894.msg13897233#msg13897233

While my balance is alarming low at bittrex at the moment, my deposit history now shows a number of recent XVG deposits that were DOGED deposits at the time they were made.
FWIW - the fee Bittrex is charging is fair RE: reason and amount (it might even be on the low-end of what the work is worth). The thing I was objecting to yesterday was what seemed like a lack of notice about the fee and then what appeared to be a ransom-esque situation: pay the fee or w/d your coins (not sure if that was intended). I'm not a coin developer, so I have no info as to what documents/terms-sheets coin devs get or agree to when trying to get a coin on Bittrex (or anywhere else).

Yeah, I noticed some of my orders cancelled w/o my doing and when I tried to re-set them I got an error message. I presume the upgrade work has started.

Excellent. XVG has some nice buy-side support right now too. Any word from Poloniex?

Is there a time-frame for the Bittrex update?

Verge seems to be weathering the BTC price rise better than most other alts. Hope it holds.

Hey guys not trying to hijack your thread, but if I put a buy request in here on the bitcointalk currency exchange for say $100 worth of DOGECOIN, the person or exchange I buy it from will be able to send that dogecoin to my new windows verge-wallet I just downloaded with a receive coin address of: DHF7bKpaZaj5y2bPfLp9ZcbKPNjUfHMLsH ?
Just want to make sure I don't need to go find a dogecoin wallet also. Thanks!
No. DOGECOINDARK (DOGED), not DOGECOIN (DOGE). OK so if I buy a $100 in BTC worth of DOGECOINDARK (DOGED) I can have it transferred to my windows VERGE wallet then right with the WINDOWS VERGE WALLET Address? sorry just want to get this right ...lol Didn't realize DOGED and DOGECOIN were two different coins. No apologies needed, you'll get it. As to your question: yes.

im kind of confused lol, this is what i got back from bittrex...
Hi,
Coin name changes are easy. Coin ticker changers are not easy and require us to do quite a bit of work on the back end. A coin ticker change will cost 2 BTC which is equivalent to the amount of work that goes in to making this change.
Please respond with how you would like to proceed.
Thank you,
Ryan
That's silly - a name change fee is not a fee listed or contemplated on the "Fees" page (1) OR the most recent "Submitting A Coin" terms-page. (2) In fact, Bittrex coin launch terms state that their work for launching a coin, whether due to a new launch or a name change, etc., is "free": At Bittrex, we look for coins that have high community demand, innovations to digital currency technology, or a contribution to science or humanity. Given the demand for currency launches, we limit ourselves to only a handful a week. Launching is free and at our discretion. If you'd like to guarantee the launch of your coin and get additional marketing in our platform, we offer the option to spotlight your coin for 3.0 BTC. (2) It should be too late to distinguish one type of coin launch from another. Note: I realize a "coin launch" may not be the same as a "name change" for some folks. Unfortunately, Bittrex's terms do not define a name change or provide any terms related to name changes. They do have some terms on "launches." And, what is a re-brand/namechange if not a re-set of sorts? Consequently, it seems totally reasonable to treat name changes as a sub-category of coin launches. Likewise, it seems reasonable to expect name changes to be treated as part of the launching process. In future, Bittrex will need to develop terms for maintenance time and service work if they want to charge for it. (1) https://stage.bittrex.com/Fees ( http://archive.is/DBmME). Yes.
The price movement over the last few weeks has resulted in large gains in value given the low price (~5x). I bought a few at 2 & 3 Satoshi, so sitting at 11 Satoshi is fine with me. However, given some of the features of this coin compared to others, I can't help but think that even 11 Satoshi is still way, way too low. Hopefully others will come around in due time and make the same assessment (and contribute as well).

I believe Poloniex added Radium to their exchange w/i the last 24hrs; hopefully Verge will be added before too long.

I created a Verge Speculation and Discussion thread in the general Altcoin Discussion forum here. Besides the topical limitation, the goal with the thread is additional visibility for Verge. Feel free to use as you wish. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1366103.0

I assume you guys know you are responding to a parody.
Satoshi is a lie. Monero is not private. Martin Armstrong's self-aware computer model will Link All The Things. My dad is a fancy lawyer. I am not in good health. This is serious. Please take me off Ignore! You don't deserve to read my posts! This one time, I wrote a driver for a printer. Can you understand this advanced paradigm? Or am the only sentient in all spacetime, running as a simulation at the end of the Big Crunch in order to retroactively initialize the fine-grain atomicity of loop quantum gravity? I had a raw kale + egg shake for breakfast, then jogged 10 miles and ate three Jollybee bacon cheeseburgers for lunch. Why do I feel so bad? Why does smooth respond to my Munchhausen syndrome lunacy? Is he a social worker, specializing in care of deranged New Age hustlers and their victimized dissociative identities? This is art.

whoever said this is to be added to poloniex they know nothing of it being added seriously just because you can hide a ip address it makes you anonymous surely if it was tat easy there wouldnt be any dash or monero - good luck bagholders want to sell
The claim is that hiding IP obscures traceability of the token, this is not the same as claiming user anonymity.
