mebagger here from the mooncoin core dev team. I know it's been a while since I've posted here, I'm working on forcing myself to make more time to check in with the community here at least once a week. And I'll really try to stick to that schedule in the future. But there are only so many hours in the day and we still have much work to do. Michi and I are working away in all the free time we have to get everything ready. Taranis67 will be posting updates on the progress when appropriate of course here and on the telegram channel. So keep an eye out for that. But in a nutshell, our process is to build, test, and document first and then announce.

So I'm not here to announce anything other than the work continues. And I hope the marketing team has something to announce in the near future. But I wanted to remind everybody that we are here and we are working. I'm glad we have cryptaldash and satowallet exchanges opening soon. I opened a ticket with coinexchange.io 6 days ago about the maintenance. Still no word from them. I hope they didn't loose a bunch of technical staff or something.

The fork went really well. I'd love to take credit for that but I can't. James and Vas did a great job putting together a solid software update. We've been observed the hash rate fluctuating since the fork and the blocks are much more consistent than before even when large pools went into maintenance and significant hash power was lost.
The Dev team is currently working on a minor software update that should hopefully be ready for release soon. Most of the updates are related to ease of use and consumeability of the current full node wallet. As well as improvements to encourage development on the mooncoin platform and ease the release of future software updates.
The reward reduction was part of the fork. This reduction puts the cost of mining one mooncoin at 3 santoshi with 20 gh network hash rate. This cost and is only going to increase as the network hash rate grows. So be patient, there will be an inflection point at which people stop selling mooncoin at a loss. Basic economics will take mooncoin to the moon in the long run so don't despair.
As we do have a whole marketing team now. I do plan on letting them handle most of the community updates. And I do coordinate with them but I'll try to post a little more often.

Currently again we see Bitcoin and crypto in general under PR attacks.
Bitcoin is a historical event. It's not only about technology, it's about safety of money.
People have to realize that it's better if you control your money directly. It will take time, also people will have to get knowledge how to safely use crypto.
 
The main problem is volatility and that it is sensitive to PR attacks. BTC has to reach its fair price, the equilibrium, and then the problem will be solved.
Experts have different opinions about fair price of BTC. Some say about trillions, some about 0, anyways even the 'brand' (Bitcoin is recognisable) is worth some money, so why speak about 0?
The world wealth is probably about $500 TRILLION, BTC's market cap is $100 billion.
There are thousands of dollar billionaires. How do you think, do they feel something about possible missing the train (one the most recognisable asset in the world)?
People often say that market is always right. Okay, the market was right in 2011, so what? In fact looks like markets are irrational. Probably, over long term kind of equilibrium will be reached though.

Looks like everything is stable,
MOON block explorers show that blocks go faster than before the fork and rewards per block now are 4847 MOON per block (instead of 16414 MOON before the block 1,250,000),
let's wait for news from Philip Stanton (mebagger2) who is a new leading dev of Mooncoin.
Several days ago he received a detailed description of Smart Likes technology and let's guess he is currently working on implementing the algo.
