Once we get Perl/PHP/Python/etc. running and instantly compiling within browser, a lot more doors will be open.
However, Javascript is still pretty powerful.

I rather see better webgl drivers and games written for the web that every platform can play. That's where the future is at.

I live in China and I don't fear anything. Your government tends to stay out of your lives. It may enact bad policies but the enforcement is lacking. At least you guys have economic freedom to some degree. We don't have any manufacturing left. Also, we won't be rich for much longer. You guys will be the new Americans in a decade or two. I'm British - I just live in China - but you are right Hope you don't plan on having more than 1 child, or reading wikileaks, or use facebook.... Land of the free.

Shouldn't you stick around and fight the abuse of power instead of running away? Sorry, I don't plan on dying in a revolution any time soon. It's going to take an armed populace and an overthrown government to get any change. I am not a violent man. I don't have the balls to take up a rifle and die for my country's people. I admire those who do.

Hitler was voted in with a 97% vote. The Jews proudly wore their stars
Are you serious? On both claims. Not any longer. It seems I have been deceived.

I don't feel like feeding myself nor fetching water. Heck, I even wear a diaper that needs to be changed. I am going to die of dehydration and in an adult diaper full of shit glued to my ass unless somebody pays for my survival. You don't feel like helping me nor can you afford to care for me. Oh but luckily you're so compassionate that you'll force other people to care for me. You take your team of buddies with guns to extort funds from your neighbors so I can get my ass wiped, watered and fed.
Is this moral? If not, what should of been done that doesn't require force?
If you do that you have some sort of mental disorder. Is it moral to leave those with a mental disorder that keeps them from sustaining themselves to die? Is it moral to enslave people to care for those who are dying of a mental disorder? If people truly care about them, shouldn't it be only those who choose to care for them that do so? Is it moral to put the full burden of care on a select few? We can do this all day. Yes, it is. The burden should only be put on those who desire it. Nobody is entitled to the labor of another. That is slavery.

The only president that has successfully balanced the budget was Andrew Jackson. Of course that was torn apart very soon.

I certainly hold myself to it. I agree with you mostly, joint. It's a pleasure to know you.

The purpose of life is to live.
That's all I bother to preserve in the end, to desire to preserve, if you will: Life. It seems other sentient things are the main things worth valuing in my life.. I don't do this out of religion or some other established cause. I certainly don't do this selflessly. I choose to love life because I choose to -- selfishly. I don't bother desiring a purpose. It's insipid and artificial as a concept. I just do what makes me happy. Life and its long-term sustention makes me happy. I only attack things I view as anti-life. Anti-life (death/destruction?) is as natural as life. This is evident in nature as well. Life gives rise to death, and death is evident all around you. Not only is death all around you, but it sustains and gives rise to life. For there to be life, there must be death. Appreciating the good in anti-life assists in qualitative living, I find. I see you're trying to be zen. Mr. Joint, of course I am not attached to the idea of an ideal world. I am also a proponent of natural selection. However, I will assert my preference for life when it is called for. You can prefer all you want. Just don't be too disappointed if what happens isn't what you prefer. A truism of Buddhist philosophy; attachment to desire is suffering. Gotcha.

I really don't care what you believe, Matthew. I will continue to unremorsefully use the word unremorsefully.
