The release date was actually June 10 but was moved to June 24 as far as I can remember so tomorrow is the release date.
Does RISE already have wallets?

Try this on testnet from Lulworm

122  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: RISE | ICO OPEN | 2 DAYS BEFORE CLOSE | MAINNET SOON | OVER 950 BTC RAISED on: June 23, 2016, 12:07:27 PM
So is it correct true that it will launch right after the ICO? Just making sure because Lisk and Waves had delays.

The fact that it will Launch does not mean it will be available right on exchanges.
Rise will Launch, but exchanges will need time to check code and audit it before integrating it if no problem arises then exchanges will anounce
These will all take a little time.

8.6B coins total, so will we see same price shake out as XDN? Around 15 sat? Higher because slower emission? Lower because no unique features?

I doubt, since there is going to be a practical use for this.
the value, depends on the use and the demand for the currency and that's exactly where we are looking to strengthen.

And what is going to be that practical use, to be exact?

I don't think i ignored this question, if i did, then i sincerely apologize for not answering.
But to be frank, i rather thought i have answered this question in other posts and i also can't be perfect or might not have provided the right answers.

A practical use, will mean Bitcedi being used by many Ghanaians in various walks of life and businesses replacing the rather expensive and vague mobile money systems which many believe are not trustworthy yet they have no choice to opt out because e-cash technology in Africa is all about mobile money.

Making people realise the safety Bitcedi provides, the barrier it's removes and the almost zero fee that comes with it are some of the many reasons why Bitcedi is a better replacement for the mobile money system in Africa.

To be frank, this is what actully makes Bitcoin the Bitcoin we know today, because people have come to accept it and are using it.

Bitcedi will also be providing blockchain solutions which will see useful applications like the utility bill payment systems, etc but these applications must be negotiated well with the authorities since it's going to be on a decentralized system.

I've had radio and tv interview calls which i had to put on hold because i wouldn't want to talk about it now until we have some new functions running on Bitcedi ready.

Marketing are doing thier work and all these will take some time and money but we'll get there soon. So i beleive holding your coins will yeald in the future.

Hope i answered your question or at least made a point or two.
Please let me know if you are answered.

I've had few phone calls from miners who picked my contact on facebook page to ask for more information about Bitcedi.
I make sure i tell them to keep Bitcedi and not sell now because Marketing is working something out to increase value which will make them earn more with the same amount of Bitcedi they have.
Those who understood keep and those who did not, well...

But my advice, Holding or depositing Bitcedi will be rewarding when the work on the ground starts to bear fruits.

Sad Why not a Windows wallet?

This wallet is cross platform, should run fine on Windows! Better than compiled binaries.
127  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [PRE-ANN] WAVES. Ultimate crypto-tokens blockchain platform. on: June 22, 2016, 12:51:40 AM
Bounties are a big mistake.  A better system would be to replace with a percentage bonus that goes to people who have already invested a minimum amount in the ICO.  For example say you do the Klingon translation and you get an extra 20% added on to the 1 BTC worth of tokens you got on the ICO.  This way it still rewards people but ensures that they have some investment in the success of the coin.  This would also eliminate a lot of the scamming on bounties.
I don't think a dump of this magnitude is coming from bounties only, besides bounties also contributed alot towards attracting new investors.
I think the reward for bounties should rather reduce.
128  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: RISE | ICO OPEN | 2 DAYS BEFORE CLOSE | MAINNET SOON | OVER 900 BTC RAISED on: June 21, 2016, 11:50:40 PM
the more exchanges it is traded on, the better..

Waves is trading below ICO actually..

On my calculation wave is still above ICO. $10 investment /82 waves token redeemed =$0.12 /wave (ICO)

Waves is trading below ICO.
That fact that you bought it early does not mean the last person bought it at the same price.
The last price actually is the main ICO price.

Bitcedi isn't dead! Just working on some few stuff on Bitcedi!
We also have Two Nigerian Businesses who will like to accept Bitcedi on thier commerse websites.
Trying to get some mobile money vendor shops to buy and sell Bitcedi.

Also discussing with some Ghanian politicians in power into possible implementation of Bitcedi as Blockchain for sales of prepaid units.

Already recieved calls for more information about Bitcedi from a couple of ghanaian locals.

We are actually working on the ground to get bitcedi going.
One of the Use cases, to get Bitcedi circulating with real purchases and services to raise value for Bitced.

For now nigeriafoodstuff.com will be the first to start accepting Bitcedi, considering the wide array of customers they have.

I beleive after getting the work running with locals in Ghana, the rest will be easy to convince since we are going to have a strong use case to argue.

Updates will be posted with info to let the community know about the progress.

A very big sorry, for staying away for so long.

Very soon, you'll have more businesses coming online just because of the Bitcedi initiative.

Oh good grief.  Talking with Ghanian politicians?  The website http://nigeriafoodstuff.com is in maintenence mode and the domain was just created two weeks ago on 04-jun-2016 and is WHOISGUARD PROTECTED so how do they have a wide array of customers?  And why is it a protected domain if it's an actual functioning business?  Sounds like nothing but a bunch of nonsense.

Nigeria food stuff is a local nigerian business already running with it's customers. How many of businesses in Africa have an online presence?
They are coming online because we managed to convinced them to expand people living in other states in Nigeria, outside Nigeria or Nigerians living abroad will want to place an order at their convenience due to the fact that they still want to enjoy their Nigerian recipes but with distance being a challenge.

We have two other businesses who will also be launching online to expand and they will all accept Bitcedi as payment option.

If you follow my statements closely, you will realise that, we are more focused on the people on the ground, trying to introduce people and businesses to Bitcedi as a payment system for goods and services. We intend to spread across africa and the world will surely pickup when this happens.

For the WHOISGUARD PROTECTION, i don't think it's relevant to the Bitcedi project and i don't see how it even affects the Bitcedi.
nigeriafoodstuff.com is not affiliated to Bitcedi nor is it related to Bitcedi in any form. The only relationship is that the Business accepts Bitcedi as a payment option. They are many businesses accepting Bitcoins online with WHOISGUARD PROTECTION, this does not mean they are in any way or form associated with the Bitcoin project.

This should even tell you how hard we are working on the ground to get the Bitcedi project going, we are still working on promotional materials for marketing so as to get people onboard. Once that is achieved i'm sure the results will reflect in the Bitcedi value.

Good news, if this coin not dead. But is there new feature in bitcedi?

Not yet! We already have features to be implemented on document, we can't provide it when it's not yet complete or implemented, it's a work in progress.
we are also focusing on the marketing down here, working on the acceptance and use for goods and services which is also important to raising the value when demand arises.

134  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: RISE | ICO OPEN | 5 DAYS REMAINING | MAINNET SOON | OVER 650K USD IN DEV FUNDS on: June 19, 2016, 03:24:46 PM
Announcement
Vote lulworm as Rise Delegate

Who is a Rise Delegate?
Rise is based on the DPoS (Delegated Proof of Stake) consensus mechanism which is different from the usual POS (Proof of stake).
In the usual POS, every wallet which contains coins stakes (validating transactions and forming the distributed consensus and to earn coins in return) but in DPoS, these wallets are able to vote for a delegate instead and these delegates (101 voted rise delegate accounts) intend do all the work in creating and maintaining the rise blockchain while they receive transaction fees as reward.

Delegates are trusted accounts which are elected to be among these 101 accounts mandated to perform the function of validating transactions and maintaining the blockchain while these transaction fees are given to them as reward.

Why Vote for me?

i have been very active in the crypto community and taken part in a couple of projects which have given me the relevant experience to host, protect and ensure the security of a rise node. I have had the experience of running a Lisk test-node, currently running the Litecred and Bitcedi master nodes without any downtime.
I believe with my experience in crypto and knowledge in Software Development, i stand as a perfect candidate for a rise delegate for a secured rise blockchain.

As a rise DPos delegate, i'll have nodes running in more regions to strengthen the rise network and to prevent any downtime, all node will have SSL and DDOS protection.

800 bitcoins just with the templates ? Crypto is incredible  Wink
Why don't you also start your own ICO with a template and stop trolling here?

I bought some waves @ 0.0004
Now it's selling @ 0.00084, I thinking yobit halt on waves is intentional. It's moving the price up at least.
Immediately they start processing people will begin to dumb again, and i'll buy some more when it gets to 0.0004. Grin

The launch of my coin didn't had any problem. A lot of launches of coins didn't had problems... yes, you had a few years ago children that were making coins and they sucks, but lately a lot of coins are being launched without any problems.

Lol.  For you without problems means a quick entry and exit point.  No major coin has launched without delays, not a single one.  Only shitcoins get insta-launched because no work needs to be done on them.  I agree with the previous poster with every post you make yourself look less and less intelligent.

Cryptopia took about 3 days to integrate Bitcedi after their code review, a slightly modified cryptonote coin although other cryptonote coins existed on thier exchange.
Within these three days, they were able to list three other Bitcoin clones. so yes exchanges can easily list Bitcoin clones but when something new pops up, they surely must learn and understand before listing after their code review.
140  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [PRE-ANN] WAVES. Ultimate crypto-tokens blockchain platform. on: June 15, 2016, 01:18:20 PM
Why did they not do like Breakout ? I mean, just do a ICO on Bittrex... this was a big coin, no? So paying 7.5 BTC isn't that difficult? I think they are really big problems with the coin, as even Yobit didn't enable the wallet yet...

Put back your negative turst on the past fud attempt you did (posting a fake explorer link / WAVES adress, stating that the WAVES ICO got hacked an that it's a scam). Seems like you go with quantity instead of quality with your posting again.

Only a monkey like you would prefer a Bittrex hosted ICO over the escrows who gave their names to WAVES. Not sure how you have so much time shitposting, but no one takes you seriously anyway considering you just thread/sig whore for free coins.

---

I'll adress your points just so you will maybe feel bad that you are so uneducated while still spam posting:

- Exchanges need custom code to be able to run a full node and a wallet, this won't get released to any small-time exchange. Yobit won't get it, real trading won't happen there, the most they can make is do manual processed withdrawals for users who bought the IOU there.

- This is not a Bitcoin clone or a codebase that is similar to Bitcoin. The coin runs on the Scorex framework, exchanges need to adjust their back-end to run with the coin's code. Even though exchanges were given the full node source at the 14th, they need several hours of work (or days) to make a security audit, adjust everything and probably some test runs for a brand new codebase.

These 2 points would be clear for you if you would actually take the time to read before you spam post your trollish bullshit again. Go away, spam the RISE thread instead.

Yea! i think this is well said. Integrating new codes surely comes with certain uncertainties expecially with exchanges who are more security concerned.
I think we need to give the exchanges as much time as they need to prevent any future problems that may occur when all is up and running.
They will also need time to test even after integration for some time to be VERY SURE it's all working as expected.
To be honest, I respect all the developers involved, not to talk of the pressure and sleepless nights they've had trying and doing their best to give the community a desired solution that we all want.
And also the exchanges, PLEASE TAKE YOUR TIME! it doesn't matter if it's 2, 3, 4, etc days what we want is a solid waves integretion that will not cause you to put the wallets in maintenance every now and then, remember, these same trollers will come nagging at you like they are doing here.

To Waves:
i know 14th was announced BUT
I think developers should have made this points very clear about releasing nodes to exchanges on 14-06-2016 emphasizing on trading MOST likely not start on 14 due to these circumstances. It was later on i start to see these points made which i think poped in late when people expressing thier frustrations.

What we must all understand is that, it's not easy developing or maintaining codes expecially coming out with something NEW.
We must give credit to this DEV TEAM for doing a great job and must support them because they are giving their hearts out, so far, they have delivered on thier part and i honestly don't see were they go wrong for people to start nagging. Lets have patience and wait for the exchanges to also do their part. If you have no patience, Please feel free to dump your waves on some OTC thread and don't troll or be nagging around.
