Community Delegate Voting Proposals
Would you like to be a delegate for RISE and earn more RISE through DPOS?
Now is the opportune time to make it known to the community as we're in the beginning stages. Write a proposal and post it here and we will add it to the OP for more exposure.
Becoming a delegate for RISE requires votes from other RISE holders in the community. Let them know why they should vote for you. You also will need to set up a node. Our team and fellow community members have written guides on how to accomplish this without any experience.

I can see us hitting 1k btc tomorrow easily with waves finally launching. 1.2 by the last day shouldn't be an issue, most whales tend to wait till the last day to invest.
I wouldnt be surprised to see even 2k or more. |

Vote lulworm as Rise Delegate
Who is a Rise Delegate?
Rise is based on the DPoS (Delegated Proof of Stake) consensus mechanism which is different from the usual POS (Proof of stake).
In the usual POS, every wallet which contains coins stakes (validating transactions and forming the distributed consensus and to earn coins in return) but in DPoS, these wallets are able to vote for a delegate instead and these delegates (101 voted rise delegate accounts) intend do all the work in creating and maintaining the rise blockchain while they receive transaction fees as reward.
Delegates are trusted accounts which are elected to be among these 101 accounts mandated to perform the function of validating transactions and maintaining the blockchain while these transaction fees are given to them as reward.
Why Vote for me?
i have been very active in the crypto community and taken part in a couple of projects which have given me the relevant experience to host, protect and ensure the security of a rise node. I have had the experience of running a Lisk test-node, currently running the Litecred and Bitcedi master nodes without any downtime.
I believe with my experience in crypto and knowledge in Software Development, i stand as a perfect candidate for a rise delegate for a secured rise blockchain.
As a rise DPos delegate, i'll have nodes running in more regions to strengthen the rise network and to prevent any downtime, all node will have SSL and DDOS protection.

don't expect much. those investors knew waves are going to be valuable in the future. |

Testnet Update
So, forgive me, but I forgot today was Father's Day, and the significant other and family have forbidden my use of a computer for the day. This will postpone my pushing the new version of Testnet up to the server until late tonight or tomorrow morning.
I apologize for setting the wrong expectation yesterday.

I can't Believe how much BTC has been invested in RISE. Definitely has a chance of success with all the monies available to invest in development.

So now I am waiting on RISE, LIR and WAVES to start trading. What is LIR? Never heard of it. I invested for WAVES and think about put some money on RISE in last day. I hope they won't make us upset, especially after what happened to DAO and Ethereum. WAVES and RISE are the only ones left in this ICO fury. |

Waves, Rise and maybe lisk is the only three left, but we can not be sure that has a good potential on becoming the second largest traded coin.

I read some of the delegates on Lisk thread all the time but don't have any experience actually. Maybe i get to learn about these faster as possible. Where can i check the guides? |
