126  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Solo Mining LTC on: March 15, 2012, 02:42:52 AM
woo
found my first block solo mining with LTC:) i was pool mining before, on litecoinpool.. ard ~50khash total, just pointed all miners to a litecoind on a vps, and i already earned 50ltc:) less than a day by the way...

3 bigger cpu's - ~20-22kh/s Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Quad CPU    Q6600  @ 2.40GHz, ~16-18kh/s AMD Athlon(tm) II X4 605e Processor, ~10-12kh/s Core2Duo 2.26ghz and the others are small, like 2,5kh/s is the max, making the total become around 50-55

By the way, found around 5 blocks on litecoinpool, but only earned ~160 total in shares, so I guess solo would be better for me as I calculated (5 blocks = 250ltc + 1 block in solo = 300ltc > ~160ltc +20ltc for the day i didn't mine for the pool = 180ltc)

i'll keep updated with my experiences:)

133  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Price of electricity per kWh on: March 07, 2012, 10:56:08 PM
around 0.09-0.1$ in hungary.. depends on how much you use per year, if you use much, you get billed in another category which is like 3x this price.
134  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Introduce yourself :) on: March 07, 2012, 10:34:24 PM
hello everyone:) I've been reading this forum since several weeks but I just took time to register:)
I'm an active miner on bitcoin.cz and on bitlc, and using my cpu at litecoinpool..
Currently working with 2 gpu's only, 2x5970, but i'm planning on getting some more... I got them overclocked to 825mhz, ram on 250mhz, and the speed is 365-7 mhash x 4 = 1460 mhash/s
With litecoinpool I started the cpuminer on some of my unused boxes, they are generating around 37kH/s totally:)

Just started to be in the mining biz, but I like it:)

Btw: I'm from Hungary, any hungarians here?Smiley
greetings!
