Anyways I really think you should add some payment method which is international, like paypal was, there are a lot of non-us ppl using your pool.

What do you think about LiqPay? No fees on funding the account, instant FREE money transfers, they have an api too, payments received can be withdrawn directly to your credit/debit card, or there are quite a few exchangers which do liqpay -> liberty reserve/perfect money/payweb/etc... for fees around 2-4%
65  Bitcoin / Pools / Re: [396 GH/s] EMC: 0 Fee/PPS/DGM/Merged Mining/PayPal Payout/SMS/Yubikey/More on: July 08, 2012, 07:41:14 AM
3% fee? That is just ludicrous for an ATM withdrawal.  The wire transfer fees quoted does not include the fees charged by the intermediary and destination bank.  That amounts to a bare minimum of $20 per withdrawal, sadly.

I will look further into OK pay, since it would be all outgoing payments, it's probably not an issue for me.  Is there a strong demand for OK Pay?

Well its $15 maximum for ATM withdrawal ie. if your ATM allows you to withdraw $10000 in one withdrawal then you would only pay $15 for the withdrawal and if the currency is also USD then there is no foreign exchange fee.

$10k? last time i checked okpay debit card had a limit of $2k / withdrawal...

69  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: fast way to deposit money from btc or mtgox to => okpay on: July 04, 2012, 04:43:53 AM
nope, i'm waiting for several transfers since 1/jul...
Amounts $78, $26, $19 so not even high amounts.
Not sure why they are becoming slow..

edit:
I just saw on okpay.com that you can deposit bitcoins to your okpay account directly and instantly again, like in the past.
I've tried them out with 2btc.
will keep you updated how it goes.
exchange rate not the best by the way..

edit#2:
It's really instant, like it was used to be (6 confirmations):

An incoming BitCoin deposit was received on your name. Deposit in the amount of 12.26 USD to your OKPAY account has been successfully completed.

I'm still waiting for refund for my order paid with BTC (Order #35). I guess it'll arrive soon.

Really nice customer service.
71  Other / Off-topic / Re: BFL, Why is Dwolla & Paypal not an option anymore for ASIC? on: July 01, 2012, 11:13:43 PM
as an experienced paypal & ebay member having several restricted accounts I'm thinking about this:

paypal limits the account if suddenly a lot of transactions flow in (like it did on bitpay when they announced pre-order). even higher chance for a restricted account, if they try to withdraw some of or all the received funds.

when paypal limits their account, they request for a tracking number, since the payment was for "goods", which need to be shipped.

BFL won't be able to provide the tracking numbers for the transactions, so their money would sit for 6 months at least.

If I were BFL I wouldn't use PayPal for preorders either.

I request cancellation of one order
I requested a cancellation of my orders too.
No reply since 6/28. Guess they are working hard on correcting the problems. They are honest guys, so I'm not worried.
73  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Introducing the ModMiner Quad 840Mhash @ 40 Watts http://www.BTCFPGA.com on: June 20, 2012, 11:11:15 PM
Mine was not shipped since 20/5 Sad
Sent an email for a refund, and expected shipping date.
Made another order on Jun/11 but that's not showing up in my account even though my card was already charged at google checkout.
Hope you can resolve these problems..
74  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Introducing the ModMiner Quad 840Mhash @ 40 Watts http://www.BTCFPGA.com on: June 14, 2012, 10:18:03 PM
2 days and I reach the 4 weeks deadline for a 9% refund of my order.

75  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Mt.Gox AML/KYC Process Explained on: June 09, 2012, 02:34:28 PM
a bit off topic but regarding mtgox & it's support

I had a withdrawal to okpay, which is not processed. status shows error:
2012/06/04 21:36:42   Withdraw   Status: error   $262.35000   $0.00239
Withdraw to account okpay

Money not refunded to my mtgox account, neither sent to okpay.

Before and even AFTER this withdrawal I have successfully completed withdrawals to okpay.

I'm unable to contact mtgox, tried to send a support ticket, but browser shown a red frame without an error message.

Please let me know who can help.

Any business which allows instant transactions is going to get hit with fraudulent transactions sooner or later.  Smaller businesses have little capacity to cope with this.  People have probably tried to manipulate their system with fraudulent transactions and they're likely trying to work out a way to deal with that.
Then enable manual verification for bitcoin transactions.
Even though disabling automatic deposits, and verifying each transaction one by one shouldn't take time from Apr 17 (more than a month)...
