122  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: SCRYPT ASIC miner ready. BTC+LTC ASIC miner, 1THS(1000GHS) Bitcoin miner, 950W. on: February 24, 2014, 12:53:51 PM
UPDATE:

Jack replied to my pm as following:

"hi,
btc payment, has shipped out for date before feb13-14.
tomorrow, start to ship all btc payment orders.
thanks.
jack."
123  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: SCRYPT ASIC miner ready. BTC+LTC ASIC miner, 1THS(1000GHS) Bitcoin miner, 950W. on: February 24, 2014, 07:19:54 AM
Anyone get new tracking info today? Today was supposed to be another day of "shipping"

I payed in BTC on Feb 11 and Jack said 7-10 days after payment.Today is Feb 24 and:
1.I have received no product.
2. I have no tracking order, nothing. I'm tinkering with my thoughts if I should ask for a refund today or wait for one more day .
So atm I'm a very unhappy customer.
124  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: SCRYPT ASIC miner ready. BTC+LTC ASIC miner, 1THS(1000GHS) Bitcoin miner, 950W. on: February 20, 2014, 04:57:16 PM
I was told if they havent shipped today i get a refund. Really starting to consider the refund. People who ordered the day after me have already received their packages? I paid in BTC there is no reason someone who paid paypal should get theres that long before me.

Aside from jack being in over his head.

I paid in BTC on 11 Feb and its f@#$ing frustrating seeing paypal payments paid on Feb 12 being confirmed and orders shipped. I'm starting to get real pissed after sending  5 emails at the 2 address provided and every fucking time they ask me same thing: my delivery info. This is nuts!

So bottome lline:
1. I don't have my BTC payment confirment though I asked for it every time I sent pms and  emails. How hard is to check on blockchain.info?
2. No one confirmed they have received my delivery info, despite 5 emails sent so far, and underlining everytime I need to get a confirmation on this.

I was a beliver but I'm starting to loose hope and reconsider this as a potential scam.Anyone willing to invest should at least wait for lightningasic get their shit together and organize better  if they want to be regarded as a serious company. Atm I'm reconsidering making future orders at lightningasic.

Jack said delivery is 7-10 days from payment, otherwise I'm entitled to ask for a refund. My BTC payment was on Feb 11. If I don't get my tracking number tomorrow I'm going to ask for refund.

127  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: SCRYPT ASIC miner ready. BTC+LTC ASIC , combo.Open sale now. on: February 17, 2014, 05:47:51 PM

Great ! Smiley Are you going to send the tracking numbers to your customers by email ?
I ordered 12 days ago (paid in BTC and you acknowledged the payment), but so far I'm in the dark and don't know if I'll receive now of if I'm in a distant batch.
Thanks

Eric

Same thing, except Jack didn't confirm my BTC payment as he said his staff is tracking the payments and shipment.Did anyone else got confirmed payment when paid in BTC?
As for tracking numbers I would really want to know how will we get the tracking numbers, by pm  or by email ?

129  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][MAX] MaxCoin - Alive and Kickin' on: February 15, 2014, 09:46:42 AM

Im using this for my 280Xs:
cgminer --keccak -I 9 -g 1 -w 256 --gpu-engine 1080 --gpu-memclock 1000 xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Also remember that with this coin you can turn memory clock way down without losing hashrate!, cards run cooler Wink

I set the gpu mem clock outside cgminer -recommended way- with AB to 300 without any issues so far on all my cards.
They run cooler and I have more room to OC them if I want.
130  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][MAX] MaxCoin - Alive and Kickin' on: February 14, 2014, 06:55:49 PM
I don't know if it was mentioned here before but gpu users should consider mine max " a la bitcoin style" not scrypt style.
Lowering your mem clocks on your cards will result in lower temps and less power draw and longer life for your cards . This way MaxCoin Keccak (SHA-3) >  scrypt coins.
Mining sha-3 now is like a blast from the past when I was mining BTC with my 5xxx and BTC was 5$...  Roll Eyes
So many things changed since then.
131  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: SCRYPT ASIC miner ready. BTC+LTC ASIC , combo.Open sale now. on: February 14, 2014, 06:38:38 PM
I wonder what people think of the following I dragged from a vertocoin thread:

"[–]D4wn0ff473 7 points 4 days ago*

First of all these asics are jokes. The hash power for both btc and ltc is not worth the price. The only thing that makes them worth the price is the 7w of power usage for 300Kh/s on solo scrypt ventures, but the 8gh/s for btc mining at 100w is not going to make a dent in the current pedohash network power. Even going after other 256 coins on the btc side would not be worth it because most of those networks are already drowning in asics and fpgas. Even if you had a a couple hundred of them you would still not be making a decent enough dent to have roi ever especially with the current price.

But alpha technologies has 5mh/s and 25mh/s scrypt asics that will be shipping in a few months. Not to mention that sluicebit has 2 and 4 mh/s scrypt fpga's that will be shipping soon. The game will soon be over for scrypt coins with no differential built in like vert does. But I really feel bad for the people who wasted and will waste their money on these asics. The company obviously saw the train coming of the larger asics and fpgas so they sped up dev to get these out as fast as possible. They will be outdated and worhtless in a few months and the owners will never have a chance to make the majority of their money back
."

Discuss.

By the time "in a few months?" these imaginatory products will come out I will have my LA3M already ROId and probably the new LA3M  v.03 in hand!
The race is on and it looks like lightningasic is ahead.Which horse would you bet on ?

I always liked Vlad2Vlad topics. You can't miss them, and once OP is on holiday you already miss them  Grin
136  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: SCRYPT ASIC miner ready. BTC+LTC ASIC , combo.Two new model coming >10MHS. on: February 12, 2014, 10:40:00 PM
I got confirmation from Jack Liao/Lightningasic that shippment is 7-10 days from my payment. For those having them hashing already can you check the power draw in normal/oced dual mode? Also, does the wiibox software have a switching pool feature- in case it fails for ex.-, like in  cgminer?

Edit: I belived Jack Liao is trusty, and I paid him upfront in BTC and I still do. I hope he delivers us fast and good products.
137  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] NEW ONE COIN Launches February 14 2014 on: February 12, 2014, 06:56:07 PM
The ORIGINAL onecoin is coming back - no need for this.

All these shitclones suck, they can't even come up with original names for their copy and paste jobs.

Correct, there is already an original ONECOIN [ONC] released last year.this is just 100% copy it seems.
138  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: SCRYPT ASIC miner ready. BTC+LTC ASIC , combo.Two new model coming >10MHS. on: February 11, 2014, 09:21:05 AM
I just orderer one LA3M can't wait to get my hands on it.  Grin
139  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][MAX] MaxCoin - Alive and Kickin' on: February 10, 2014, 07:21:09 PM
Is it possible to use cgwatcher with this modified Cgminer?  Can't one set that to auto restart every X hours or if hash rates fall below XX?  Seems the ideal solution here.

Yes, I use it.
140  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Thoughts on Max Keiser's coin (Maxcoin) on: February 10, 2014, 06:51:17 PM

Those people bitching because they are less tech savvy only lost 1 day of mining.

That was the killer profit window that was monopolized by the devs.

It went off exactly as planned.

~BCX~

Perhaps, but if someone is looking to invest in alt-coins, it's hard to beat a celebrity face with direct access to the media. When Coblee started litecoin the alt-coin community had a fraction of the open source services and scripts it has today and it had a slug it out for a long time. If I read right, you can already buy maxcoin for fiat- 3 days after launch. That's pretty impressive.

I think the project will be a success and I'm buying my own stash of coins to reflect my feelings. It's as innovative as litecoin was at the time when it came out, has a full infrastructure right out of the box, and large investors who are incentivised to buy. Hard to argue with that.

+1 My thoughts as well. Glad to see this forum is not all full of dumb people  crying all day long about wallet not syncing or working from day 1 and their missed opportunity to mine it. Some should at least consider maxcoin as a natural born pump/dump coin that has MONEY written all over it  MONEY from mining, MONEY from trading.
