121  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The most logical and profitable game on: January 11, 2024, 12:25:09 PM
I know that basically gambling is based on luck, but we can use tricks or strategies so that we don't spend a lot of money and can still win, even if it's only a small win.

In general, in my opinion, there are several categories of games in gambling such as house edge games, sportsbooks, slot machine games, live casino games, and lottery. In your opinion, which game do you think is the most logical to win? and what is the reason?

There are no tricks or strategies to win in gambling based on luck. Maybe on sports betting as there's analysis involved but if you talk about those house edge gambling games like dice, or those games with RTPs such as slots, roulettes, and related-games, what you need is being responsible. I'm referring to being able to fully control yourself in a given situation.

In gambling games where luck is the only key to winning, once a gambler experiences big winnings, they are carried away and will continue to gamble. After playing for a long, they didn't notice that their balance was now slowly depleting until busted. If only they managed to control themselves from the moment they have won, they should instead enjoy some of their profits.

123  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you believe in gambling experts predictions? on: January 05, 2024, 06:49:20 PM
No one can accurately predict, but the good thing with experience is that it can give you some idea how the game should be played the right way.

But in the story shared by OP, it's like the predictor is taking advantage of OP and his friends. If OP's group wins that bet, they will give a share of their win to the predictor. OP even didn't mention too that the predictor is giving details and information on why that specific pick should be placed with a bet.

There are no gambling predictors in general in sports betting. Tipster might be the closest thing to that type of person. We as a bettor also didn't just want to know some information about the game but also looked for the best odds out there to take advantage of our knowledge.
124  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The shorter the time you spend the better on: January 05, 2024, 06:12:35 PM
For me, and in general though, I still believe winning in slot games isnt much about how much time a gambler spends playing, but it's more about how much lucky the gambler is, but then, it still makes more sense to play slot games with good enough bankroll than with a tiny one.

That's what I'm talking about. No matter the size of the bankroll and no matter how long a gambler spends their time on gambling, it's always a good practice to learn to take a break during a gambling session. When winning, the adrenaline and excitement boost up that's why gamblers will likely won't stop even for hours. When losing, it gives a reason to play more to chase those losses.

Short-time playing doesn't do anything effectively. There's no exact duration on how long should a gambler spend time playing gambling just to be better.

As much as possible, try to be responsible enough to take a break during gambling.
125  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Inoue vs Casimero (possible fight in 2024) Let's discuss! on: January 05, 2024, 05:54:36 PM
If he can't secure a fight against Inoue, and Inoue decides to move up, it is not Inoue's fault so he should just shut up and just concentrate on getting a title,  he blew it by going out on MP promotions who can give him decent fights and are good in securing big fights

John Riel Casimero can secure a big fight even without the help of MP Promotions during the time he's a champion. Everything goes well but their camp blew the rules of the Britain Boxing Council before the supposed fight between Casimero and Paul Butler. If only Casimero's team didn't mess up, we already see now who's the winner between Casimero and Naoya Inoue.

It's hard to get Casimero on the line against Inoue even MP Promotions will work on it today. Naoya Inoue has nothing to gain if he fights Casimero as a challenger. For Casimero to be considered, he needs to be a top contender. He can't just go directly with undisputed champion not unless Top Rank and Inoue will push on it but that's impossible.
126  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Complete list of Casino and Sportsbook Scam Accusations on: January 05, 2024, 05:42:59 PM
I can't imagine the effort made to compile all these accusations from the whole last year. I think OP didn't miss even one.

Amazing and good work for making it for the community. It will serve as a nice reference for some purposes.

The good thing about this list is we see that most sites are interested in solving accusations against them, gives me a better feeling that a casino is legit when they want to make sure they keep a good reputation. Not all accusations are going to be marked as resolved either, as not all accusations are legit. If a casino provides sufficient evidence that an accusation is false, you should consider some sort of closing for that accusation. Something like proven false or scammer or resolved guy was a scammer.

Totally agree especially the popular big sites involved. It's really good to see those sites resolving issues in public as everyone can follow and monitor what's going on. Resolving issues also contribute to establishing a site's reputation. It's a Big + to the community as trust is hard to build.
127  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Mayweather vs Pacquiao II on: January 05, 2024, 04:56:12 PM
sorry not to my taste...and I wouldn't be surprised if this ends In a draw like the Tyson fight  Tongue as this is the best result for all parties involved and likely the best time to make money off punters who will likely go all in on the money team (TMT).
honestly Not looking forward to this one sorry, as the last time I was out supporting Pacquiao he was robbed, and never do I want history to repeat itself..

Exhibition matches in boxing have always the possibility of ending up in a non-concluded fight. It's for entertainment purposes that's why it is called an exhibition match from the start. It's not surprising to see DRAW result in an exhibition match since that was already expected from the start. I know it's not your taste to bet on that but just want to clarify that you can't compare it in a professional sanction fight.

I also don't think that bookies will cover this event and list this event on their sportsbook.
128  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The shorter the time you spend the better on: January 05, 2024, 04:33:02 PM
the longer the time you spent the more you lose, this is the truth that many gamblers won't accept at first until they realize it later.

Not true at all. High rollers have a large bankroll and because of that they almost win most of the time in their session even playing for several hours and even a whole day with only a few breaks. Even a gambler only spends a few hours in their gambling session, but risking a high bet amount per spin, then what's the sense of doing it within a short time if the risks are just the same as usual?

It's not about how long should we spend time on gambling but rather just knowing how to stop for a while.
129  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: why do people always play gambling even if they always lose? on: January 05, 2024, 04:17:28 PM
Because even after losing, the day of enjoyment and happiness might probably come once the moment they waited for long surprised them. The losses they are suffering mean it's still not their time. How they will be able to grab those crazy winnings if they do not touch gambling?

As a casual gambler, I'm also hoping for a big win someday in gambling. Right now, more losses compared to winning but not giving up.

So, basically winning or losing has the same potential to have an addictive effect on gamblers.

For me, experiencing the winning side is more encouraging gamblers not to stop gambling hoping for another shot at that big win.
130  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you care about what people say about you gambling? on: January 04, 2024, 11:57:55 PM
This now triggered me to come ask here whether you cares about what people says or sees you as when gambling, I know there are people who don't know you from time or who doesn't believe that you are a gambler and if it happens that you came across such people and their reaction towards you goes other way round would you care about it or you just totally ignore them?

If someone can give us a big reason why should we care about other people, then I will go to him. Smiley But there's none.

We don't owe an explanation to those people. Just do your usual things and don't mind them.

It can also be applied to other doings in our life. We don't need to meet anyone's standards. Just mind our own.
131  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling for fun, is it a lie that we tell ourselves? on: January 04, 2024, 11:55:36 PM
I know that it's said that you should gamble the amount that you can afford to loose, but will you call it a true fun when you know that there's a higher probability of losing your bet?

Don't believed at these people who are claiming they are only gambling for fun. They didn't realized that even they only lose a small amount on that day, those losses are increasing day by day. It's not fun to lose. It's not fun to always lose. It's not fun to have a losing streak consistently.

Instead, make our gambling serious and focus on how to win. If playing on games based on luck, focus on bankroll management.

It's good to have fun while winning. Can't imagine these are some people that after a loss, they will say they will just gambling for fun so it's ok to lose but deep inside they are in regret and dissapointment to not experience even a big win.
132  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you believe in gambling experts predictions? on: January 04, 2024, 11:53:08 PM
A gambling expert brought i and some friends a guaranteed predicted game and asked us to stake a a high amount so that we winning could be huge and so we can give him a percentage of the money at winning.

There are really people who are knowledgeable on a said specific game and because of that, they were able to create a good set of predictions. Please focus on the word prediction, meaning it's not the thing that will exactly happened. If these predictions were hit by some people, then it's up to you to follow them or not.

Besides, it's not comfortable to me to follow even a professional tipster as long as I have knowledge too on that game. More importantly, I don't jump to other sports that I'm not familiar with even with the guidance from a good sports tipsters.
133  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: December 29, 2023, 11:58:10 PM
I think Boston will win against Toronto today. It was an interesting match last night and although they fell behind by a long margin, they managed to turn the match around. They have learned from mistakes and learned not to underestimate the opponent. Celtics, who are doing perfect at home, don't want to break this series. The Raptors aren't bad, but they're not at the level of the Celtics. Porziņģis stepped up a gear. If Tatum and Brown play as usual, this match won't be difficult for them.

Those 2 Boston Celtics players you have mentioned that are key responsible for their rally win against Detroit Pistons recently are listed as officially ruled out on their game against the Toronto Raptors. Jayson Tatum, who scored 31 big points last game, and Kristap Porzingis, who scored 35 big points also in their last game, are suffering with left ankle sprain and left ankle sprain respectively.

Jaylen Brown and Jrue Holiday was also listed as QUESTIONABLE but now changed to AVAILABLE. But I doubt these two can play at their 100% performance as they are dealing with low back contusion and right elbow sprain.

Raptors have to take advantage of these.
134  Economy / Gambling / Re: Casinos not asking for KYC to register and play, but do require it to withdraw on: December 29, 2023, 11:48:49 PM
If you are dealing with a shady casino then expect that there would really be an endless kind of accusations which would be thrown at you on which you would really be rather making yourself that look
you are the ones who had been able to commit out such error or simply they would really be washing up their hands just to make you look to be the ones who commit out such error and would really be patching up on the shady things that they've been dealing with. This is why it would really be always important that you should really be doing your own research well and would be just engaging into those platforms or sites which we do know that they are reputable. Having some research wont really be costing you an arm and leg. It is really just that people are way too lazy.

I don't really understand why others still ended up in a random and unpopular crypto gambling sites that is not even advertised here in the forum. Since these users posting this kind of thread here in the forum, I'm expecting them to at least will stick only at those gambling sites advertise here.

Moving forward with the subject, it's like a situation where site are using Terms and Service against their users. There are lots of sites out there that can freely register, make a depost and so on but when it withdrawal time, they will ask about complying with the KYC.

These sites with mandatory KYC should at least put that term right directly at the registration page.
135  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Martingale betting system on: December 29, 2023, 11:42:30 PM
This is a common system that some that are into gambling use... it's a system where you double your bet after each loss in hopes of getting back or recovering previous losses when you eventually make profit..it might not be beneficial to everyone
Before venturing into this system make sure you have a significant bankroll,  cause you may need to stake larger amounts to recover losses
You can't do this without having enough funds to spare.
Exploring this system doesn't always guarantee 100 percent success..many have lost a lot with this system and many have also made a
Lot of profit from it.. remember to always stake what you can afford and set limits for yourself
I would like get more ideas from my readers
Thanks for reading

To conclude what you are saying, never ever consider that betting system as a strategy.

Others might have been successful doing that betting sequence but they will only tell those success bets but will not mentioned their losses. Just always think of an obvious thing where if that betting method is really effective "in the long run", how come it's not even popular as an effective strategy? It's because it's not a strategy in the first place.

If others think that even starting from 1 satoshi will always yield a good profit, they should understand how provably fair works.
136  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tips to consider before selecting an under 3.5 football prediction on: December 29, 2023, 11:35:28 PM
Even a bettor were able to properly execute those pointers given by OP, just accept the fact that betting under 3.5 is always a tough bet.

Seriously, even how good you are at analyzing, and knows both team statistics and past performance, betting under 3.5 is no doubt should associate with luck. Not unless intentional, that betting option was really a hard one to predict. If that just easy, many should already gaining profits from betting on it.

Those tips are also an obvious thing to do in general regardless of the betting option we choose.
137  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What percentage of bitcoin investors are gamblers ? on: December 29, 2023, 11:27:54 PM
Every bitcoiner must have been risking in gambling before Bitcoin was invented. Maybe as bitcoin was birthed they decided to stick with bitcoin trading and investment and say bye to gambling. In conclusion, every bitcoiner must have gambled at a particular time but not all gamblers know about bitcoin.

That's a valid point. Even before bitcoin or the whole crypto in general was commenced, there are surely bitcoiners (or whatever you called it) that are already involved in gambling. Now learning the advantage of using crypto in gambling, others shift their gambling habit from the usual fiat gambling into crypto gambling.

Referring to bitcoin trading and any other bitcoin-related investments, these are just an added option for these crypto gamblers if they are interested in doing so. There are crypto gamblers who also involved themselves in trading while others just remain focus only on crypto gambling.
138  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: License: is it a guarantee? on: December 29, 2023, 11:15:48 PM
Almost every gamblers notably those that make use of online Casino's for their gambling have the notion that except from a license owned casino they don't use any  casino without a license, which I think is a cautious thing to do.

But have been wondering and wanting to ask, does a license guarantees that a casino won't scam it's customer's going forward.

Whether we question what license is all about, I'm sure you don't want to play in a casino that is not licensed right?

If that casino can't afford to spend time having a license, what can you expect on their overall service? If the site doesn't even have a responsible act to acquire a license to make their site good in our eyes then definitely these sites might just do some scam attempt later on. It's not a guarantee that a licensed site will turned into scam later on but it's way better to use licensed ones over unlicensed ones.
139  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Not everyone deserves to hear of your winning in gambling. on: December 29, 2023, 11:05:34 PM
Every story you tell someone can either be a motivation or something to get them depressed. I have been thinking about this and I'd like to pass this advice to every serious gambler in this platform who has won a substantial amount of money from gambling, not to share their success story about winning to everyone and in every place. You do not know the story of every gambler, and on the face some gamblers may just look alright but in deep down they are in debt, some depressed due to addiction to gambling that is destroying them and has made them plan to quit. Your success story when shared indiscriminately may trigger and motivate this addicted gambler battling to stop to want to keep gambling, having the believe that their time is close. Be careful who and where you talk about your success in gambling, you may just be encouraging an addicted gambler to continue.

It's doesn't make sense to blame those gamblers who are just sharing their winning experiences.

We can compare it to what you read in social media nowadays, or media, news and any platforms where there are stuffs, stories, incidents, situations, that you don't like to hear. Just simply let it go away on your other ear. That is something we can't control.

If these gamblers got motivated and become addicted because of such good winning stories, blame that person instead as they are the one responsible on where they are now. Gambling stories are everywhere and sometimes, you can't avoid encountering those.
140  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: When betting on sports, which one to choose -110 or +110? on: December 29, 2023, 10:54:07 PM
This topic has arise because I'm wondering, what if we just bet +110 all the time and just get 50% win rate to be profitable.

Just think about this mate, if that is really a profitable strategy then why it's not even making a big sound as a famous doing in sports betting?

Simply, because "it's not working". Low odds doesn't guarantee an always profit.

Also in my own point of view, are you willing to bet a decent amount just to feel the profit at +110? It's more risky to me compare betting at underdogs which already expected that losing is more likely to happened but in return, a good profit.
