IMO @ 1/3 the price over DarkCoin, AnonCoin (right now) is a screaming investment opportunity that could really pay off w/zerocoin implementation details coming out over the next month or two.

Please let us know if you agree with this, and of course (even more importantly), if you disagree.
Just another small investors POV here, sounds like a good plan Maestro1, much better than the original coin code. Without your proposed changes IMO the price will crash hard & the coin abandoned in less that a year otherwise. However, with these changes a much better long term investment vehicle is created, one I'm looking forward to enjoying a share of. Still that appeal of creating an early adopter frenzy is in place for months to come, time will tell thanks to the team effort here. As to the stake age, its an interesting question, pretty much in agreement with the original development there too.

Everyone, please report your case with the Canadian Anti-fraud Centre (1-888-495-8501), this is a devision of the RCMP which conducts preliminary investigations on pottential fraud cases. You do not have to be located in Canada or be a Canadian citizen to report. Please be succinct in reporting the following: The organization is called "bit-mining.co", and here is some of their contact information: Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/bitmining Twitter: https://twitter.com/Bit_Mining Old Twitter: https://twitter.com/Sarif_HostingEbay: http://www.ebay.ca/usr/demontnWhois: http://whois.domaintools.com/bit-mining.coSkype: bit-mining.co BMC bitcointalk.org user: demontn We need to make this a higher priority case for them, and the only way to do this is by everyone calling in and reporting. The more reports they receive regarding the pottential fraud conducted by bit-mining.co and demontn, the higher priority this case will be become, the more likely a investigation will be conducted by the RCMP, and the sooner we'll get answers. The call wait time can be a bit long (was on hold for 12 minutes before I spoke to someone), so make sure you set aside enough time to do this. Canadian Anti-fraud Centre (1-888-495-8501). You should each also report this with your local Police authority. @Dexster - I'm ok with you forwarding on a copy of the spreadsheet you've compiled to Kimmel, the one where you've detailed mine & others losses already, my email address should be in there as well & it should save him allot of time to have your efforts already done. ...that is,,,,, if it's ok with everyone else. @Agorash - yes...could be another scam, but I don't think so, my thinking is user kimmel here is another victim, trying to pool our combined losses in a legal case against them, and sounds like the best deal for us yet, also appears he has had real success in the recent past from recovery efforts. From a post by kimmel back on April 8th Hello all,
Recomendation for all, don't enter bit-mining.co you will probably loose your bitcoins
I've been around for more than a year; I survived Btc-24 closure and Mtgox failure; and many other exchanges, but none caught me. Mtgox was something most bitcoiners knew that was going to happen, so people caught on that was newbie or quite stupid.
About Btc-24 the guy ruling the exchange has turned out to be really honest; we were able to get out our bitcoins after the frozing of all bank accounts; and one year later; after hiring lawyers, he has been able to refund 73% of funds of the Polish bank accounts and 100% of german ones.
In the case of Bit-mining.co I hope we are in the same case as BTC-24 guys; honest people. I belief they really want to build a business and make the things right but have had some problems. @Kimmel - If you don't get this from Dexster by the end of the week, let us know, I'll email my particulars again to you directly at bitminingclaim at gmail dot com. The only detail you more than likely would be lacking, is that I'm a USofA citizen.

I've skin in this coin too, not much, but bought 2000AC moments before traded halted, was starting to accumulate, when the problem surfaced. While working in the garden today it occurred to me, 'Proof of Stake' should mean something beyond what mere programming entails. I've a stake in this, lets see if one of the major 'claims to fame' about this coin features can hold water at a whole new level.
That level @ which we all have an interest in keeping, the proof of coin ownership. Rip out the corruption, premine just enough so every honest stake holder has a coin, rebrand it and then lets fire up the new software, stronger than every before having had the experience laps into uncertainty. The exchanges would have to cooperate, all my coins are either on Bter or Cryptsy, but I think it would be in their very best interest to resolve this matter peacefully.
IMHO it could mark a major milestone in crypto-coin currency history, if this could be pulled off, move on with a new coin and proof of steak for all existing holders.

just communicate with us. I may not have lost much, but 51 ghs is not a drop in the bucket considering the amount of time to make a return.
whomever is keeping the google doc, add me to the list.
Ya it was allot to me, had worked very hard to build up the portfolio, after taking hits on prices and difficulty, then on March 24th seeing my NMC's swapped for DVC coins was really heartbreaking, that software bug should never have been my fault, nor withdrawal requests left unprocessed, dividends left unpaid etc... Please everyone add yourself to Dexster's list so this can better be brought to the attention of legal authorities. Although I wasn't the one whom lost 5000+ nmcs from this programming error, I did loss 76+ nmc's & then most of the rest of my investment stuck in a withdrawal that was never processed for nearly a month now. @Bit-Mining.co if your on here, it would be best for you to say so, as 'many' of your previous customers & supporters ARE working together to compile a case against you, these issues are about to escalate to the next level of pain for you if you don't respond.

@Dexster - Also sent you a copy of my account positions...

|

My suggestion is that everyone who had shares/GH send me a PM with as much information as possible, screen name, email address, and so on. ... ... Hoping we hear something in the next couple days.
Agreed Lorenzo, my PM with details was just sent to you, tried to keep it short and to the point, thanks for doing this. @Dexster - Are you getting these from Lorenzo, or do I need to carbon copy to you as well?

Well
One thing you wont have to worry about with me is You will have my Info if you join my Co-Op and also We actually Talk to our members Via Email, Skype, and on the phone ( even a few people here in this thread can vouch for that )
Have to admit your soft sell and features offered sound good gjpmc, however....without having time to recover from losses here...I'm with Ron on not being interested right now. Best we keep this thread on topic, allot of us are waiting to hear from a now silent company... . ... ...... ......... @Bit-Mining.co where are you?
|
|
|
Well its down again. Caught in that endless login 'loop'....
And again... Yep. Sometimes seasoned with a "A security error has occurred" message :/. Yap having the same problem here, just thought I'd check in before rebootin, guess I'm not the only one seeing the security error,,,probability related to them bringin on the new authorization parameters to meet guidelines for fiat trade...at least that is what I was thinking, dont know anything more than that guess.

@Lorenzo - sure agree with you there...and thanks for your posts regarding bit-mining.co, seen a number of them in various threads, the question in your last post is the first on my list too, better yet a phone number.
@GJPMiningco - Not sure this is the best time to be selling me on more mining ventures

What I'd like to see is an admission from the developer to that fact, a short description of what is going on, and then a re-opening of the site to allow access to our account records, new member access disabled, no deposits, trading or other such functions allowed until everybody's account problems are resolved. Including the release of withdrawals...
...am I asking for to much?

Nor have I heard anything from them regarding my ticket issues back to March 24th, now over a month. My patience has long since been lost, and I've just moved on, written it off as a total loss. Still, a part of me was convinced bit-mining.co has(had?) allot of potential, 90% pretty good running code, it was the 10% that wasn't working right, that would kill you. Released way to early for public exposure IMo....

Yap, Yap and Yap to the last 3 posters...well said.
@Dustdevels - This company I invested in was always a long shot, 18.9% of my cryptocoin wealth back at the time in early Dec, it was always a long shot...will hurt bad to loss it all.
...I'm not as pessimistic as you, it could very well happen that we're all compensated.

Sounds about right Dust...
Sure wish we could have some staff communications...

I'm usually the skeptic but I believe them for some reason. I just hope our coins weren't hacked, and they can have better security on the site. I don't care if it takes them a month so long as they fix it correctly and to where this will quit happening.
Some places manipulate their users money, but I'm hoping that isn't the case here....
Need to keep ppl updated too...
Same here...

Ya this DDOS attach was almost predictable, given what the prices were doing, was way better to slow the rise via warfare...think about it.
Personally want 1oz Silver back to being at least 1:1 with bitcoin, in the summer of 2012, when I last traded bitcoins for Silver, the price was in the $4-5/bitcoin range then. It was a very bad trade for me, considering I was buying Silver selling for $30/oz. Yet, now look back on that experience as having still been worth it, developed a couple good contacts for future trade.

Thanks all for the intel...
@johny - also going to actively work on my localbitcoin options here, these centralized exchanges have always been attractive for all us investors, traders and bitcoin enthusiasts alike, yet it should be coming very clear by now (to all), they are always going to fall victim to their fiat masters and we need to withdraw our support (as small investors) of them in every way possible.

Some great comments and support from other members here GreenBits, glad to see you had a chat with bit-mining, the site I think has great potential, more so now after reading your comments. As I was there live when it happened, will stand by you as witness to the criminal act. Was very saddened by your loss, so much so I canceled my trades & went to bed after it happened, doubt you got much sleep that night, anyway my few bitcoins have sat in my offline wallet for two+ years collecting value by doing NOTHING, putting them at risk like this, after what had just happened to you made me sick.
Anyway, got my own personal theory about what 'might' have happened, sent you a PM, please get back to me, so we might discuss it further...

Right there with you, got hit yesterday with a canceled BUY order returning a negative BTC balance, figured I better try the new 'Self Audit' button, that didn't fix the problem but created another negative balance, this time on my LTC account!
Coming up on 24hrs since I created the support ticket & halted all account activity, had 2 tickets over lost coins when opening my account early Dec, too their credit the problems seemed to get resolved in a day or two. Since then however, I've keep good records myself, can't trust'em, now need to move that documentation trail from a text file over to spreadsheet program & calculate my own balances across ~10 coins and ~150 trades, their server seems incapable of doing it.
Preparing to bail & hoping to get this resolved & transfer out my various coin investments to wallets here at home, their engine needs an overhaul....

Got the 50DVC right away from the fauct!!!
Had the user ID correct, added the text to my signature, but then forgot to add the DVC address to my signature as well, first time doing a submit on the faucet, it said I had an error, then refreshed the page after fixing my signature here and the faucet paid me out!! Sorry about the double entry in your, it paid out fine and I'm #75 out of 80, we need just 5 more to pay out!!!
Thanks so very much for your promotional efforts, becoming a big big DVC fan and now that the wallet is installed would like to see about getting involved with devtome...
