Tried to update it but it wouldn't let me as it hasn't been 24 hours yet. I did however write this as a reply using the account I originally posted on to verify that it was indeed me.
And no I'm not trying to default on the loan. Rather, I initially was going to sell it but instead I figured I would try and get a loan for the short time I need it as I would much rather keep it if possible. If I end up not being able to get a loan or sell the domain in the next few days I will end up keeping it. I explained above, but I presume you didn't see before you posted.
yeah you posted in the time i was typing my post, it happens. I understand that you may be an honest individual and you may actually be planning to repay this loan, but this exact scenario has happened multiple times before in this board, and i would personally have users be more on the safe side than believing the words of a stranger over a couple thousand dollars worth of assets. |

op may be planning to default on the loan, effectively 'selling' the domain by having the lender keep it as collateral. not saying that op for sure plans to do this, but it's happened before. besides, you shouldn't be taking something like domain names as collateral as they're not as easily liquidated compared to something like altcoins. but that's the lender's prerogative. if they feel they are comfortable by taking a domain name as collateral, by all means, do so. |

seems to be doing a lot better than the first round did; even 10% in 10 months is incredibly impressive; you'd be hard pressed to find anything on wall street that accrues that much in that time. that being said, i completely forgot about the first round while i was away from the forum and missed this one entirely, I'll definitely try to join in on the third round though.

Just move on, maybe after 1-2 years @theymos would lay down some new rules on permbans, but for now just move on Nothing will change with you.....
Does it say that you are permanently banned or is there any other info on your account? It says i am banned from posting and sending PMs on mine. No time frame is mentioned. No time frame mentioned And thats Mean permanent ban. You cant do anything Regard this & if you try to create a new account to continue posting It will be Ban Evasion & you will be banned again. Why would I not be able to create a new account and start over? on this forum, bans are issued to the 'person' as opposed to that account. if you are found to be ban evading the ban period will be extended. Or, if it's a permaban, the likelihood of the ban ever being lifted disappears. none of the mods have told me anything how long the ban period is or if there is any likelihood of it being lifted. Only Rapid123 mentioned its a permaban, mods are quiet. they might not be active right now seeing as how none of my reports have been looked at in a few hours. but he is correct; if the length of the ban is not specified, it is a permanent ban. as for the possibility of the ban being lifted, it's a slim chance, but there is a chance for you to make an appeal after a long period of time. |

Existing database will require a field alteration.
There's an ugly solution which is storing enter as "\n" on comment field. Also, we actually don't know the field type and perhaps it already supports enter. It's a matter of how moderators see it. I think it comes over as a PM, so newlines and perhaps even bbcode could work. iirc i've been told in the past that the mods have a page where they view reports, not via pm. |

ehhhhhhhh..... dunno about that. wouldn't count it out. that aside, a lot of the accounts are still red from multiple dt tags, might be a better idea to prioritize those that are now neutral from lauda's removal from dt. |

that doesn't matter. all you did was post a link, none of your own thoughts or words. if you reposted that article with some narrative of your own included i doubt anyone would see a problem with it. but as is, i wholeheartedly agree with the moderator's decision to delete the post. |

Could we possibly get a bigger text box on the report page as opposed to the 1 liner size one we have right now? Not exactly a pressing issue, but it'd be nice to be able to see what I type when writing up some larger reports or have to include multiple links and such. Like this  or something like that. |

short version: DT has 'depths,' which by default, is set to 2, although it is possible to see up to 4. Depth 1 is managed directly by the administration; only the admins can add or remove uses from this category. Depth 2 is managed by the individuals in depth 1 by adding or excluding them to their trust lists (the big text box on this page https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust). when a dt1 user decides to add a user to their trust list, that user becomes a part of dt2, and vice versa for depths 3 and 4 as well (although depths 3 and 4 are nearly irrelevant ). At this point, for a person to be removed from their dt2 position, 1 of 2 things can happen; 1. the dt1 member who added that user to their trust list removes them 2. the user is excluded by at least 2 other members in dt1 by entering ~<username> as opposed to just their username into the list the second method serves to ensure that dt2 can be self - monitored to an extent without direct interference by the administration. If a member is taken off of dt2 through exclusion, their name will be 'slashed through' on the trust settings page as such: username. Also, if you're wondering what the numbers next to their names mean, it denotes the number of dt1 users that have decided to either add or exclude a member from their trust lists. assuming the user is on 1 dt1 user's trust list (1), the exclusion of the member by 2 other users would put them at a (-1). If you're curious, you can click the 'hierarchical view' link at the bottom of the page, and you will be able to see exactly which users have decided to include or exclude certain users from their trust lists. In this case, it would seem Lauda has been excluded by 3 dt1 members: HostFat, OgNasty, and Tomatocage, while he is on the trust lists of 2 members: Blazed and hilariousandco. |

I'd love a sub-board for crypto domain names. It's an active area, and in keeping with the aims of the forum. Digital goods is no use, as it tends to be full of spam and unrelated items.
Probably a good idea too. Digital goods is a MESS. Most of the threads are locked garbage posted by alt accounts and the real stuff gets pushed down. I think domains names are popular enough to justify a new board. i havent been on the forum in a while and only glanced at the section, so i might not be grasping the full picture here, but imo that sounds too niche to be creating a whole sub board over. that aside, digital goods has always been a mess. unless it becomes a big a problem as accounts were, i dont see it happening, and from a glance it doesnt look to be that severe. broaden the hypothetical sub board to include 1 or 2 more related items and it could definitely be a possibility though. |

so i havent checked in on this in quite a while, but i got the gist that it isn't going as well as hoped in the last few months. id hate to ask this since it sounds as you may be busy, but could you possibly write up a post when you have time in the future about plans for the near future and the current state of things?
