121  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: altcoins for 2-3 years holding! on: April 21, 2019, 11:34:46 AM
I believe LTC is good for years of holding. Consistent rise in volume is possible as long as there are costumers for LTC and I believe that since LTC has great potential, it will no doubt get its trading volume raised with the passage of time. And rise in trading volume in turns affects your price in the market so yeah this is nice to have the rising trend in the market. Bitcoin shows signal of crossing $6000 in coming weeks which may mean litecoin may follow bitcoins.
122  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Learning to trade on: April 21, 2019, 06:09:03 AM
Trading is like an art to get successful you need skills and experience, doing trading at the bearish is so hard so you probably entered in the wrong time but still possible to make profits at bearish trend by using sideways of the price movement.

If people can learn and trade though it can be risky at times but it will be rewarding as well in the end. It requires a lot of patience and experience as it is an art which cannot be adopted by everyone as every person has their own risk taking ability.

With enough experience, anyone can be a decent trader. It just varies on the amount of time they need to get there and if they have enough patience to get to that point. Some can easily get the knack of it while some will lose a lot more before they become efficient. Basically patience determines if you'll stay or not.
And the best thing is, with time consumption in this field, everyone get to know the in depth points. They become stronger in concepts and relating them in their trade. Learning shouldn’t be stopped, and thus, those who equip themselves with any new idea even being in this field, their experience become strengthened with positive points. So, keep on digging yourself in this field, gold comes late.
123  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Hotbit exchange is legit. on: April 20, 2019, 09:07:23 PM
Hotbit.io is a great exchange for trading alts. They got new coins listed all the time. Just becarefull selling because the sell price is way above market prices. Even the exchange coin htb is goin to sky rocket. People will be trading this platform. It's so easy.
I have heard of so many bad review about this exchange, I have made use of them in their early days because I like their exchange very much, but when I began to see a lot of bad reviews about the project, I had to withdraw all the funds in that exchange because I wasn't ready to lose my fund to an exchange that we might not be able to trace if anything goes wrong with them,  though it's a good thing if we begin to see good review about them since they have a very great platform.
124  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin SV gets delisted from Binance and Shapeshift! Kraken might follow. on: April 20, 2019, 08:31:24 PM
I already see this same topic posted on another page you could maybe mix the topic there in order to sort things out. But considering the fact that Binance will going to delist SV in their platform would be a great help to increase the market volume of bitcoin cash and bitcoin for my opinion.
My point exactly,  I have seen this topic a lot of times in this forum and still seeing more being created, I think we should check to see if a topic exist before creating ours so that we can prevent spamming the group with a lot of like topics which can be avoided, you can just make a reply in the existing topic instead of starting a new topic with same content, well I support the motive of binance CEO, I think it will shut the mouth of the man claiming to be Satoshi up.
125  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum Cofounder: ETH to Rise 1000x and Become Global Settlement on: April 20, 2019, 07:52:06 PM
Well for the fact that I know ethereum is a very a good project, it is next to impossible getting to that kind of height for now unless the ethereum team are planning of an upcoming event that would drive the price of ethereum high, because eth now have great competitors like Eos that even have much more to offer to the Crypto community, but if the price of bitcoin gets to $100,000 then I can say ethereum will also grow because it has huge trading volume than so many coins in existence.
126  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto based platform like "Etoro"? on: April 20, 2019, 07:37:05 PM
I don't really understand what you are trying to talk about, what do you mean by etoro, is it a name of a project or is it something else,  I think it's best to explain so that Judas can also help to check out, because the truth is that I am just hearing about it for the first time which is weird because I love to check out new crypto project to see which has great potential.
127  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Important question to Investors!! on: April 20, 2019, 07:18:41 PM
I Love to invest in pre-sale more than investing in public sale,  because you have more chances of making profit when you invest in pre-sale, I have invested in the public sale of over 3 icos presently and the turnout was nothing to write home about because I didn't even make the capital I used in investing on the project,  I have given up on ICO already and I don't think anything can ever change my mind about investing in ICO anymore.
128  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you watch the matches you're gambling on on: April 19, 2019, 08:22:54 PM
Watching the games obviously give you more benefit and fun too. Even if your team loses, you will get to know what are their weakness and strengths and therefore you can bet in a much better way next time.
It is great to watch such matches because you could keep a track of what is going to happen and what has happened. You can preclude your win or loss before even the match ends. You could even minimize your bets if there is a decreasing chance of winning. But in this kind of gambling, you can win and make money unlike what happens at poker and blackjack etc which is very tough to win at.
129  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Strategy to overcome losses .. on: April 19, 2019, 08:09:54 PM
Gambling is a fun, it is very hard to gain profits from it, so if you are thinking of making more money then you would loss more money. When i suffered losses i left gambling and focused on something else.
It's not about the difficulty of making a profit on gambling, you can profit easily if you know how to stop. chances of win you can get 90% if you want right?
I think for a truly gambler who plays for fun, defeat is not a big thing, they are prepared for it, after all there is no strategy to overcome defeat right
Will not agree with it, it's easier said than than, lots of gamblers are complaining they loss money it's because it's not easy to win.
Though winning is possible but we can only have a short term win, in the long run, it's the gambling house edge that will prevail and they will come up profitable.
Well this is a game of randomness. This is not easy at all to win at gambling. There is no certainty at all. In many cases the house has a winning edge over the player. In other cases, the machines used are engineered in ways to deceive you. It is also a function of experience and if you have some good prior experience, you could win as well. Not everyone loses at gambling. But making up the losses is hard.
130  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IEOS are no different from ICO tricks; just an upgrade on: April 17, 2019, 06:55:32 AM
There is a difference between ICO and IEO, but there is no big difference between them, the only difference I can identify is that IEO is controlled by popular exchanges that have already made name for themselves thereby building trust for investors who will like to participate in this project, unlike ICO that you don't know if the project is legit or not since you don't k or the persons involved in developing this projects, this is the only difference I can identify.
131  Economy / Economics / Re: 2018 the year of correction? on: April 15, 2019, 08:00:46 PM
Yes definitely there are lots of things that to be corrected in the year 2018 and it is the most unexpected year for every Crypto investors to stay without any profit in the whole of the year but in the 2019 will be little different from the previous year and there will be lots of chances of development is happening right now
.
Lol, my question is where did people get this idea that Bitcoin needs correction?  ::)Okay, Bitcoin needs correction and what about other coins, do they also need correction and was it why their prices decreased? The price of Bitcoin fell because people sold off and the demand also decreased. That’s what I believe.
132  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin is following the same path of 2017 on: April 15, 2019, 07:43:28 PM
Yes, we can't expect surpassing the previous ATH 16 times, as it happened in December 2017, but we can expect surpassing it 4 times, which means that Bitcoin can reach $75,000 in December 2019

Too good to be true

If you ask me, it would be a miracle if we just came close to the December 2017 highs in the coming years (let alone months). If you don't ask me, I'd still say we are unlikely to see the amount of hype and steam we saw back in the day. It could be said that the novelty of crypto has worn out but as they say, there's no second chance to make a first impression (read, the days of the wild hype are over and probably for good)
Yep, who doesn’t want an increase? A lot of people has been disappointed, although majority of them were newbies who thought they were going to get in and make quick money, due to what they were told. But a lot of us who have been into it for long and invested after the last bull are also expecting the next to happen anytime soon.
133  Economy / Economics / Re: A Crypto Blessing: China’s Plan to Ban Bitcoin Mining Will Work Wonders on: April 15, 2019, 07:27:00 PM
You mean only the bigger miners, cause small miners that are based in China wouldn’t be ready to leave their country just because they want to be mining Bitcoin, I don’t think so. Only those big companies that are mining cryptocurrency are the ones that will decide to move their companies to a different location and continue their work. Just my opinion Smiley.
134  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Would you borrow in cryptocurrency? on: April 14, 2019, 08:04:28 PM
I am interested in opinions about borrowing in cryptocurrency.
If a cryptocurrency will have low price volatility, then would you borrow in that token?

If not please tell why?
I am afraid of borrowing and try not to take them, and especially would not do it in cryptocurrency.it is not too stable and risky, took one amount, and will have to return another.
Is not it equivalent to getting funded by someone to speculate in cryptocurrency? I think it is and in my opinion, I would go for it particularly in the time when the market prices of Bitcoin are rising. If anyone is willing to lend me his coins, I would borrow it for sure and will return it after it is all time high in the market. If it was not all time high, I would at least give me some money but it is risky I know but worth going for.
135  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How the EU and 5 European Nations Regulate Cryptocurrency on: April 14, 2019, 07:36:16 PM
I don't think there is any county in existence that is still able to regulate crypto, how can you regulate a market that is decentralized and owned by no one and also cannot be controlled by anyone, this is the main reason why I love a decentralized platform, the government might only be able to control the exchanges and this is not all exchanges in existence because we have decentralized exchange that can't be controlled even by those who created it.
136  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Looking to develop a new social media platform on: April 13, 2019, 07:10:13 AM

I need some developers to start to develop a new social media platform which will change the world.
The platform will be something different.

I need also some investors.

I want to create something which will be totally different and to change the world.
Pls share some ideas.
It's actually a very good thing that you are looking for a developer that could develop a social media platform for you, but the truth is that this post don't suppose to be in this part of the forum because a lot of persons who come here only come to discuss about altcoin and might not be interested in any kind of job proposal, I think you should move this topic to the service section of the forum in marketplace in order to get better response.
137  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [VET] Last 11 days for Vechain (Vet) What will happen? on: April 13, 2019, 06:52:14 AM
For now I don't know what to say about any project anymore because the project I invested for 1 year that turned out to be nothing have taught me a very big lesson and I hardly want to try out any other project ever again, so my advice is that if you are not so sure about the project, you should make your research well in order to avoid losing your money unnecessary to platforms that don't care about the investors but how to enrich themselves.
138  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Burstcoin hacked on: April 13, 2019, 06:08:02 AM
About 60 different accounts were emptied out totaling $918.

60 addresses, 918$, these are not so big amounts. Are you sure it was a hack?
However, I think that you may have better chances for getting any answers in the new BURST thread.
Same question I was about asking too, I don't think that it was an hack attempt because I know hackers very much and one thing I know about them is that they won't spend their time on a platform trying to hack $900 from it because it's just a total waste of time and hacking resources, it takes a lot of time and resources to hack, this is why when hackers are ready to take money from their victim, they don't go for the small shot but the big shot in order to make it count.
139  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Stablecoins have a future? on: April 12, 2019, 08:30:38 PM
Yes of course, I am not a fan of stable coin but I am sure that they will have a future because I am part of those people who makes use of stable coin to carry out trading activities and make a lot of profit from the market especially when the market is bearish. I make up to 3% profit every day trading between normal coin and stable coin, it pays off a lot and I think all traders can try it out too.
140  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't fall for the pump, Bitcoin won't stay pass 4k nor does it deserve to. on: April 12, 2019, 08:15:29 PM
From all the major flaws presented in Bitcoin one could say PoW is the major flaw of them all making the coin more centralized than even most people can't afford to keep up with other miners, these are day traders doing there thing again making profits on your losses, beware most say it's like gold it doesn't need to be fast but in reality it just isn't so secure.
In your face man, we have already seen the price of Bitcoin break the price of $4000 and have even gotten to $5200 and you will still be shocked because the price will soon grow to $6000, you are one of those persons who love to spread FUD news in the crypto space but one thing you should know is that people in the crypto space don't really care about FUD news anymore due to the experience we have had in past times of 2017.
