121  Economy / Economics / Re: Why is bitcoin stability important? on: April 18, 2018, 07:08:38 AM
Stability is a function of volume. The US dollar barely moves 2% from day to day because there are several trillions of dollars traded every day, so it's hard for any one player to pump or dump it. So it moves based on fundamentals (the outlook for the US economy) instead.

Bitcoin is still very small - it's market cap is smaller than Apple's, so it's easier for whales to move the price, especially as the trading volume is only about 1/50th of bitcoin's market cap.
I guess that is what most people are not really understanding yet. We are still in a very early state and we cannot expect the volatility to not be like this, most especially for a decentralized environment. A lot of people keep complaining about how volatile the market is without understanding it is that volatility that actually makes some investors to want to pull in to take advantage of the fluctuations.

However, some of these things will change overtime, if we indeed start seeing real life usage with a great level of adoption but until then, we just have to get used to it. Also, based on what the OP said, I do not see how this inhibits the development or growth of altcoins as a whole lot of alts have grown since their inception and still growing.
Every picture has two sides and that same is the case when it comes to that of the market value of the bitcoin. The stability in the market value of bitcoin will avoid you from suffering of loss but on the other hand, it will also result in not making of some very good amount of money too. The only thing which is helping the investors the most in making of more money is this volatile nature of bitcoin.
The cryptocurrency has become increasingly part of the wider financial system, after making its debut on the world’s largest futures exchange. But Bitcoin poses no threat to financial stability and is unlikely to rattle mainstream markets in the next couple of years.
122  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: when is the right time to invest on bitcoin on: April 18, 2018, 07:00:04 AM
There should be no one to know the specific investment time, but I know one reason: buy low and sell high. But when the price falls, I will consider whether I should continue to invest.
Investing in bitcoin may seem scary, but know that it takes time and effort to understand how Bitcoin works. When thinking about how economics and politics will affect Bitcoin’s price, it’s important to think on a global scale and not just about what’s happening in a single country.
123  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to get more profit? on: April 17, 2018, 04:13:26 PM
There is still very important luck. How many tokens, how many projects, to choose among them worthwhile is very, very difficult.
There are potentially significant earnings to be made in Bitcoin lending, but there is also significant risk. Bitcoin lending tends to operate through intermediary websites such as Bitbond and the concept is as simple as it sounds.
124  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin used by criminals ? on: April 17, 2018, 03:58:02 PM
I once read an article that says bitcoin is used as a payment transaction for terrorists and hackers. And maybe you guys in this forum also already know it. But here i want to convey my personal opinion in that matter. I think that internet and bitcoin interrelated. Many terrorists and criminals use internet .so also with bitcoin which used perpetrator However, despite all these issues, do people make concrete efforts to ban the internet? No. Not because removing and banning Bitcoin is difficult, but because the internet offers more positive than negative. For the same reason, we have to be more careful about our mindset for Bitcoin, because much evidence has shown that Bitcoin brings many positive, if not more, effects than the internet. Internet and Bitcoin are just devices that 'bad guys' and 'good people'. Fortunately, the world is filled with more people in the 'good people' category.

Sad to say but bitcoin is the easiest way for criminals to transfer or launder money as it is hard to trace. These are the cons for anonymity. Criminals will always find ways to transfer funds and the government also will find ways to catch them
Speculative bubble or no, perhaps the greatest challenge facing Bitcoin, cryptocurrencies in general, and the broader world of blockchain is the fact that all of these efforts in some way support criminal endeavors.
125  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How could war affect crypto? on: April 17, 2018, 06:23:35 AM
If the war is local, then in the zone of military conflict and in the territories adjacent to it, the crypto currency will rise very much in value. If the war is global, and will seize many states, the destruction will be huge, then probably the crypto currency will not go around and will be forgotten. In any case, for the period of military operations and the restoration of the disrupted Internet. However, it is better not to experience it in practice.
Cryptocurrencies, in large part, must be redeemed for a fiat currency as the cryptocurrency trading infrastructure is still developing. In wartime, this becomes an even more critical issue as the internet is a critical means of communication, and cutting off communications is a war planner priority.
126  Economy / Economics / Re: Legalizing Bitcoin on: April 17, 2018, 06:10:53 AM
I believe that bitcoin should be allowed in all countries, but to control the conduct of the ICO. Many countries are good at crypto currency, but due to the fact that there is no control over the collection of funds, scammers benefit.
While some countries have explicitly allowed its use and trade, others have banned or restricted it. Likewise, various government agencies, departments, and courts have classified bitcoins differently.
127  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as money on: April 17, 2018, 06:05:24 AM
They say that bitcoin is the future of money. What do you think if we use bitcoin in everyday lives as a money? Like buying foods. Or buying clothes. Do you imagine it positively or negatively?

I can imagine it has a positive impact in our daily lives specially when we want to order items from abroad. We won't worry about conversion of the currency and the large processing fee.
Now that bitcoin is a mainstream asset, with futures contracts traded at the world's largest exchange, becoming actual money should be the logical next step. But if you were to ask investors their expectations, the reply in most cases would likely be: "Not in my lifetime."
128  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is the invention of the century! on: April 16, 2018, 04:13:08 PM
Bitcoin and the blockchain technology are revolutionary and this is evident with the amount of adoption of the blockchain technology and bitcoin, it will only grow further.
I feel this digital currency will revitalise the entire payment mechanism and will be the most preferred way of transacting services and goods as it brings that added layer of security and trust with it.So that Bitcoin is the invention of the century.
129  Economy / Economics / Re: How many people in the world know about bitcoin? on: April 16, 2018, 02:38:03 PM
Of the younger generation of people under 35, I think 70 percent already know about bitcoin and cryptocurrencies. Everyone wants to earn easy money, so after the recent rally, many learned about it.
Wallet numbers are growing about 2.5x per year to 13 millions of wallet. Conservative estimation our real users might be about 7-10 million users I guess. But it's better to put it low because there might be users who try it, leave and not return.
130  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin is life. on: April 15, 2018, 02:36:24 PM
That's true man!! Bitcoin now has become life for me!! It was few years back that I came to know about bitcoin from a friend of mine. We were just discussing about the virtual currency concept i had read about in the news paper the other day!! So he suggested me to invested some bucks into the crypto market. At first I was reluctant to invest my money because I was not at all sure of positive returns. So I dropped the idea. But my friend was so adamant at this and forced me into this. now i am so very much grateful to my friend that he forced me into this market!! Now i love spending my time here on this forum and stay updated with the recent updates and buzzing news!!
My suggestion on bitcoin to others would be to be calm, don't be greedy, have patience in everything. Success will definitely touch your feet. Always read latest news about everything, you never know what can bring you a prosperous life later.
131  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin is NOT DEAD on: April 15, 2018, 06:08:41 AM
of course not die because its value is bitcoin is still high at this time though had drop and bitcoin not dead yet and will bounce back.
Bitcoin will maintain its "essential" status as e-currencies and blockchain technology become mainstream. But all that is nothing compared to the massive system upgrade to Bitcoin that's poised to go live any day now.
132  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The best ICO to invest in 2018? on: April 14, 2018, 01:52:13 PM
Hello guys!

I need your ADVISE.

Please suggest me the best ICO to invest in 2018

there are a lot of good ico for now. but in every option must be accompanied by investigation and analysis. I invested in NTOK including following his project campaign. I think it's pretty good to see from white paper and its ideas. you can try to learn it if interested
Giftz works on this idea, which will take the world by storm. It would eliminate the worry of taking cash to stores to buy products or thinking of having nickels to save forgetting something.
133  Economy / Economics / Re: Don't worry, the market will not fall forever. on: April 14, 2018, 01:48:31 PM
rising and declining market prices is a natural thing because of the price movement that we can benefit. precisely the price that tends to silence is very dangerous because it shows that the price of these commodities has entered the saturation point where if it lasts a long time then the worst thing that will happen is that the commodity will disappear in the market and the commodities that we have we can not sell
Any stable market, be it a stock market or a crypto market, will experience periods of rise followed by periods of recessions. When the price is going up, know it likely won’t go up forever. And when the price is falling to the floor, know it likely won’t fall forever.
134  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is bitcoin loses its popularity ? on: April 14, 2018, 01:41:51 PM
Right now there are more coins available in the market which gives you more profit than bitcoin.
Bitcoin price is also not stable.
All these factors affect its popularity ??
What you think, still bitcoin is more popular ?
No, bitcoin popularity will not lose, its volatile price makes people goes crazy which also gives them excitement to invest more to their virtual wallet, plus social medua are advertising bitcoin, which means that the popularity of it are increasing more and more, people also supporting this currency than other, because they know that it is the best and will gives them hope to have a better future for themselves also to the cryptoworld.
Despite the fact that Bitcoin could possibly fall off being the favorite Cryptocurrency, there is high chance that it will be around for a long while to come.I do not think bitcoin loses its popularity.
135  Economy / Economics / Re: Alternative investments on: April 14, 2018, 07:11:14 AM
If you can hold for longterm then choose bitcoin, for alternatives it depends on your passion, budget, interests, patience and dedication. I mean if you are good at cooking you can choose to franchise or build your own restaurant, starting a business is not easy and it will take time to get back your capital and make profit.
When investing in real estate, you can buy and own property. This means becoming a landlord. You buy a house, duplex or multi-family dwelling, like an apartment complex, and collect rent. The returns can be very high.
136  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is now a good time to buy Eth? on: April 12, 2018, 12:32:21 PM
In my opinion, now is a very good time to buy ETH as it now costs very little, but after a while it will go up in price and then you can get a good profit.
Dips are always the best time to gulp up and wait for the long term profit. Waiting for a specific time to buy most especially when the market is already in a dip is really not the way as the market can recover any moment but as long as the OP understands the volatility of the market and knows that there is a lot of chance of going lower or recovering any minute, then he would not have a problem, most especially since he will be making a lot of profit in the long run anyway.

Yes this is the good time because the price is still low and the graphic is getting up so in the future the price will be high, from you buy the coin you can support the cryptocurrency to increase their value, so lets invest or buy and get the benefit
Charts are always handy to predict the future still we may go for buying eth at this moment as prices are really wildly dumped from $1000 to $400. Same things happened to bitcoin in 2013 to 2015 but now we are having bitcoins near $8k so, we can buy now but must hold.
You may buy the coin right now and sell it right at $600 as a breakout can happen. The coin is currently trading below the point of convergence of the trend lines. But Ethereum could possibly be a winner.
137  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: BITCOIN vs ETH ? Your thoughts? on: April 12, 2018, 12:07:39 PM
BITCOIN vs ETH ? your thoughts ?

Both of bitcoin and ethereum are best bitcoin is primary crypto currency while ethereum is secondary if the price of bitcoin are dropping it will affect also to the ethereum. So both of them are connected they are both good digital crypto currency.
The resilience Ethereum has shown while other cryptocurrencies are dropping is indicative that Ethereum is “the next safe haven. The year is still young for Bitcoin, Ethereum, and the plethora of other cryptocurrencies, but it currently I more excited about Ethereum and its technologies.
138  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum vs Bitcoin as goal of investments on: April 12, 2018, 11:55:10 AM
Many people out there don´t believe that Ethereum can be a long term hodling, they simply use it participate in ICOs, sell and buy bitcoin again with the profit. Do you think that may change this year and ethereum can be seen as the choice to hodl?
Many argue that the Bitcoin currency is a place to make a profit quickly and that the combination of Bitcoin and Ethereum would be profitable, in large countries such as China. Very popular, but many smaller countries still banned bitcoin because it is not eligible to develop this currency.
I think what’s made it more resilient is the ecosystem and the governance of Ethereum are much more positive in their approach than Bitcoin.Ethereum to scale well this year, making it a “better place to be” over cryptocurrency darling Bitcoin–and that it will continue to show resilience.
139  Economy / Economics / Re: Can Bitcoin solve the worlds problem? on: April 12, 2018, 06:16:01 AM
bitcoin may become the new equivalent of savings such as gold , but it would need to be recognized by world banks at the legislative level
There is no way that we can doubt the capabilities of the bitcoin and rest of the crypto currencies but the fact is you need to make the best possible use of the opportunity which is available to you and that you need to keep on putting your best so that you may then be able to make some good earnings. If you will not take benefit of this advantage, then bitcoin cannot help you in any way in making you economically stronger.
Many in the bitcoin and wider payments industry believe there is opportunity for the technology to empower financial independence with new products that tackle problems in ways the industry hasn't yet conceived.
140  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum, Ripple or Litecoin? on: April 11, 2018, 03:40:28 PM
I don't like Ripple. I would say that I will prefer Litecoin and Ethereum rather than Ripple.
Litecoin is a very light coin. Fast transaction and cheaper fees than Bitcoin.
Litecoin respondents are bearish about the coin’s future as they are of the opinion that the prices will fall down further. However, there are chances for a reversal from that point.50% of Litecoin enthusiasts are not bothered about the short-term trends of the coin and they see a bullish trend in the long run.
