So, I have a rig with 2 6850's in it. I have Windows 8 64bit, I have Catalyst 12.8 installed and the 2.6 SDK installed. When I open up catalyst and go to overdrive, only one card is showing up. I have both cards plugged into monitors. I am missing something here?

I'm actually surprised it took this long for someone to do this. Has been done. Look for Bytecoin. I know, but I meant do an exact clone of Bitcoin and then just call it Bitcoin to confuse everyone. |

I agree, I don't think you would need to take anything else away to implement this, I just meant to add it as new column to sort by as it is something that at least I am accustomed to and like seeing (not that you should just cater to my needs). I personally think this site is better than most of the other ones (no offence to coinchoose ) None taken - mine is more for programmers who want the API and those who like charts. This site fills a different need Although your Litecoin-Based Profitability is pretty baller  |

I like this site as it offers something more than the other sites (including mine). To those with the GPU rigs, at the moment our block and transaction verification code is CPU bound, although we are looking at being able to push some of this work over to the GPU pipes to make the process more efficient. Whether that is at a testable point during the beta, or after the production is switched I'm not sure, but we will continue to run the test network post-production anyway.
The Android/iPhone wallets will be a while off (unless someone decides to write one before we do), but its useful to know who has devices they could test with, so thanks for providing the info.

What about name - eMulah - is it final? Name is very important for coin. Pretty final, Mulah is slang for money, e....well yeah, EMU as a currency abrev gives us lots of branding options. so unless you have a better suggestion? Any ideas on how you're planning on keeping it CPU bound? YAC had a novel approach, but it didn't take long for people to figure out to gpu and fpga mine it. Also I get what you're trying to do with the EMU name, but I have to agree that eMulah is kind of a cheesy name for an idea this awesome. I don't have any better idea right now. |

Do you truely believe, that, in this day and age, someone, somewhere, has not figured out, how to mine YAC using a GPU? It's being mined by GPU, the few people doing it, are kepping it secret, as long as they can turn a profit doing it
Not that big of a secret, from the homepage of Yacoin lol: YaCoin is the first Internet crypto currency to guarantee long-term protection against GPU and ASIC mining. This enables all peers to participate equally in the network, regardless of their financial backing. Whether you have a few Intel i7's or a ATI Radeon 5790 GPU, you can share in mining profitability. So, this is mineable by GPU? How?? Probably but also from the homepage, CPU-only proof-of-work mining and Long-term GPU and ASIC protection So, whoever made the site didn't proofread I'm guessing. |
