1201  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Inherited gambling on: July 04, 2022, 01:42:17 PM
I think it's not specifically gambling that is inherited but it's about the mentality or how they think because being smart/intelligent can also be inherited but it's 100 percent true that if you live or grow in place where gambling is rampant, you will adopt a gambler's habit.

Quote
- Would you blame an individual who becomes addicted to gambling because it is wired to his DNA?
- Can their gambling problem be put in check by regular methods?
- Will the addiction be worse than someone who picked up the habit?
  • It was the individual that will question himself on why he became an addict and when he found out that it can be hereditary he will blame his parents or their ancestors. For us, it's wrong to put a blame on someone else without knowing the real story first.
  • Why not? It might be hereditary but there are hereditary conditions that are being cured permanently by applying the known methods that exist today.
  • It can be but it's also possible for them to rework their mentality to not become an addicted gambler.
1202  Economy / Speculation / Re: Was 17600$ was the bottom ? on: July 04, 2022, 12:58:35 PM
It is difficult to predict what will happen in the next few weeks or months, especially in the current situation of the crypto market which is still in a bearish phase. it is likely that the price of bitcoin will fall even further. Even some people predict the lowest price of bitcoin is $13k. It's better for us to wait and see where the direction of the bitcoin price movement will go.
everyone wants a cheap Bitcoin price, and it can be under $15k, but I'm sure the Bitcoin price won't go below $15k,
because the more people want cheap prices, the easier the whales will accumulate, and the whales will pump to make sure that $13k is a dream
I guess it is obvious that all of those people want to see a low price so that they would end up with buying it at as bottom as possible so they could make a huge profit. Buying at 15k and then selling at 60k means 4x profit, buying at 20k and selling at the same 60k price means 3x profit. This is the difference between 15k and 20k which is why there are so many people who wants to do this.

I know that it is not going to be that simple, but it is going to be pretty difficult to ignore as well. Many people will keep on considering that angle and they will keep on forgetting that they would miss out on that 3x profit if they keep wanting to make that 4x profit instead.
1203  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your recent altcoin investment and why? on: July 03, 2022, 09:03:28 PM
If many say shiba coin has no potential that's why I tried to buy shiba coin a few days ago yesterday I sold it and made a profit, based on my experience we must have a target, don't easily believe what other people say.
Good for you, if you have a graphic card laying around at home use unmineable platform to mine some Shiba inu, this will make it easier for you to hold, I am mining Shiba inu every day, earning me 500k Shiba per day and 30 million is my target, I plan to hold since Shiba burn is very serious and also Shibarium is in work ( Metaverse ) I believe making profit from this project in future is highly possible.
That is not a "terrible" idea considering you are not spending too much of anything, just your bill will go up and that is it. But, is it impossible to redirect that towards something like ETC and mine that? I feel like that could be a possibility as well and you could make some profit from it, plus it would be for something that is reasonable, since ETC is a legit coin and not a joke like shiba.

This is of course based on whatever you want, there is nobody that says you should be avoiding shiba, if you want to invest your time and money on shiba, then it is up to you and you are welcome to do it, I would suggest otherwise, but it's your own machine and nobody can stop you.
1204  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Test Cricket Prediction and Discussion Thread [self - mod] on: July 03, 2022, 08:03:03 PM
You lose almost 70 overs in 2 days but still can't start match half n hour early just to make it up?
Then these guys cry over that test cricket is dying and not attracting new audience. At least be flexible and adopt new norms according to conditions when there is multiple delays due to weather.
Don't know why they didn't start the game a bit early, but some other countries do it if a test match gets interrupted by bad weather. The spectators loss their interest from test match when it ends as draw after 5 days gameplay. A reserve day feature should be added in every test match. It will be useful during the rainy season. We have seen the benefits of reserve day in the WTC final match. Anyway, India will win this match if it doesn't get interrupted by the rain in the next two days.
Most of the time two countries never follow things which are helpful or having some bad effect for them one is Australia and second is England I am watching this cricket for nearly three decades and I never watch anything from them specially for Asian teams because they still feel superior and take advantages of these flaws which are helping them. In first three days of this test match we already have some good cricket but if they started one hour before scheduled time then surely this can be helpful for both teams, and we can accept result as well which is going to be interested.

Right now, India is in strong position but still both results possible like India or England win because we can't predict about this with having some very exciting players in match.
1205  Economy / Economics / Re: What is the golden rule of investment? on: July 03, 2022, 02:42:15 PM
Considering the current state of the crypto market, you may find that if you only invest in cryptocurrencies, whatever coin you hold at the moment isn't making you any money. Diversification of investments is therefore essential.
For everyone rules are different - but it's good to discuss with the people who are already in the business.
This way you get ideas, tips, dos and donts - - It is also good to learn from other people's mistake rather than making your mistakes.
That's true and will be very helpful for sure because by exchanging ideas and discussing our knowledge will grow,
it's just that when you learn from other people's mistakes it doesn't really work until you feel it yourself,
but surely everyone has their own way of dealing with it
There are a ton of places that could get people together and they could share their thoughts there. Mainly these places are in the crypto world of telegram, there are stuff in telegram that are not related to crypto at all, but that is mainly what it was used for.

This means that if you could find a chat place there and you could talk with other people, even if you can't get an advice that you think would be worthy, at least you would be able to get something that would be showing you what the people are thinking and how they are approaching things. And to be fair I have to say that this is going to be quite important because learning what others think matters a lot.
1206  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Turkish Super League 2022/23 Season on: July 03, 2022, 08:45:34 AM
Cenk Tosun didn't perform good before his injuries in Premier League. He went to Everton after a great season, possibly his prime performance. But he was not good in Premier League and he struggled a lot. His injuries were very bad to him and I don't think he can show his top performance anymore. Is he going to be valuable and make a contribution to the team? Yes. But we can't expect his old, prime performance anymore from a 31 year old player who couldn't play properly after injuries and made a big hiatus. Still, I also wish that he will be healthy and contribute as much as he can.
This is big setback for any talented player if he lost his most of the time just because of injuries he deserves some better but sadly no one can control this all, so we have to accept this reality now his prime time is already ended but still it's good he is going to perform in Turkish League.

Even having not good time in Everton now back in Besiktas some good can happen, and he can perform much better than his stay in England which was nightmare for this player but still we can expect something even not quality like which need but still it's manageable, and his experience could be vital for his other colleagues and his team.
1207  Economy / Economics / Re: Solar panels set to be mandatory on all new buildings under EU plan on: July 02, 2022, 08:09:39 PM
I think that ain’t too bad, 5 panels could cost a bit when you are starting out, but from what I understand you are not going to spend another single dime on it ever again? So, your mining would forever be free? If that is the case, that initial start-up cost could be awesome.

I know a guy who does mining (gpu) in a small shed like stuff but he maxed out, he has like 200 gpu's inside that small shed, did it like that because he had a HUGE fan type of thing that cools it, hence if it is small enough, it would be easier to cool it as well, it’s not a freezer type of cold, but it is quite cold, like you wouldn't be able to live in that cold, it’s quite bad (well good for the machines). So, if he put some solars on top of it as well, that means this dude would get wealthy without spending another dime on it ever again?
That is basically what the crypto part is all about, you could do that, and for the housing it would not be bad neither. When the miners were asked to go on full solar panel or any renewable energy in Europe, people went mad and talked about all the other places that use energy a lot more.

But, the reality is that EU is trying to turn everything into renewable energy, especially after this Russia stuff they really want to do that. This here showing how they are making solar panels mandatory in new buildings shows that it is not just about crypto or miners, it's about the fact that everything new should go that direction and this is a proof that they are not anti-crypto, they are pro-renewable energy.
1208  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2021/2022 on: July 02, 2022, 06:33:27 PM
The Reds should be happy about this. If Liverpool let Mohammed Sallah go, they risk losing their form for the upcoming season because they already lost Sadio Mane, who signed a multi-year deal with Bayern Munich. I hope Sallah maintains his current form despite the fact that Mane departed the team.
Actually Liverpool doesn't interested with Mane anymore, that's why they're sold him to Bayern Munich. If Liverpool doesn't sold Mane now, the next year when Mane's contract already end, they will not get any money since Mane will become a free transfer player. I think Liverpool sold Mane and buy Nunez to replace him is a wise movement. I don't expect Salah will move to other club, perhaps when Liverpool win both UCL and EPL league, then he might change his mind to get better pay check.
There was some tension in Liverpool management with both Mohammad Salah and Sadio Mané was consistently asking for increase in salary just because of this they offload Sadio Mané and have another extension for Mohammad Salah with increased salary and arrival of Nunez was already signaling something going to happen because they already have few solid strikers and this could be good transfer and departure of Mane will not have any impact on this team.

Real Madrid was also pursuing Mohammad Salah for transfer so now these all end and Liverpool could be more lethal in next season even now they can go through for another double which is going to happen with Premier League title.
1209  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: The new bounty stopped coming? on: July 02, 2022, 02:12:08 PM
Many may wonder why the new bounty has stopped coming in. I think the current state of the market and the collapse of the BTC have reduced prices by about two-thirds.  So no one is going to bring any new project in the field with risk because not only BTC or BTC but also BNB and Ether have come down in price.  No and the boundary is not new so you wait for the new one to come forward if it becomes normal as before hopefully it will become normal as before.  Wait time. Hope BTC will come back like before. Thank you.
For you and to other bounty hunters this may seem a big problem because your income will get slower but for those who are not into it and totally against it, they will see this as a positive news. Sorry about that but I am just telling the truth as you know this forum is mostly fed up by the bounty spammers.

For once this issue will slightly be solved. If you will only see a scam and poor quality bounty campaigns that don't have anything good to offer other than to harm the forum and the users then its better if we will not see them coming through but I like it more better when few legit and good quality bounties can come one by one. That way there will be no pressure to this forum and also to the bounty hunters.
1210  Economy / Economics / Re: Russia's economy is 'imploding' on export decline, economists claim on: July 02, 2022, 12:31:07 PM
You are slightly distorting the actual events. Ukraine has successfully resisted a full-scale military invasion of Russia for 125 days.
He is a Russian troll and nothing more, so there is really no reason to take him seriously. Dude just wants to say "Russia is the best nation in the world" but he is taking a few extra steps while doing that. He means exactly that, but he can't say that directly so he is talking about how the west is bad, and how Ukraine is a fool to believe in the west that invested over 100 billion combined in money and other stuff, so all in all, he has been wrong from the first sentence and he knows it, he is aware of it, he just would not agree to it because he likes to talk about how awesome Russia is and nothing more. This is why we should ignore him.
1211  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling and MLM Schemes on: July 02, 2022, 06:53:35 AM
I just heard that gambling is just like MLM schemes as people only loses both in gambling and MLM schemes ?
Is it true ?
Have you tried both of them, I guess you have not, I have tried both of them and my opinion is you're not in a good position to make money from gambling than MLM, MLM is far better than gambling on gambling you can bet your money and its 50/50 chance to win and if you're having a bad day the house edge will play out and beat you, on MLM if you have good marketing skills and you can make money from MLM, there are good and bad MLM but your chances to make money from MLM is better and if you did not make money from MLM you have their product or service as a consolation, on gambling you don't have a consolation,  you lose everything.
There are types of gambling that are not based on luck but they are based on skills and knowledge and there are successful gamblers that can make money out of them and they can treat it as a way to earn a passive income. When it comes to consolation, it also exists in gambling.

Don't forget we have rake backs and other forms of bonuses that we can get either per week or per month but the amount can depend on your wager and on what type of games you are playing but it in the end it's only about skills as you said. If you know that you are bad at those skill based and knowledge based gambling no matter how much you try then you can try making money in the form of these mlm schemes.

As a result of being bowled out quickly in their second innings Test, Sri Lanka had their shortest innings ever. The Australians played a good replay after a humiliating loss in the ODI series. Sri Lanka lost both T20I and Test Series versus Australia at home. Sri Lanka's batting failed and their bowling combination was not great, looking like Sri Lanka is falling behind teams like BD, WI, and ZIM.
Sri Lanka have very good result in ODI, but suddenly we have nightmare for them because they completely down and out from this game and Australia able to give them surprise with their ability of return into game. 321 was not good target but sadly home team not able to achieve this and having some healthy lead in both innings. Lyon was hero with nine wickets, but Head give them big surprise with his spin and able to end this match very quickly with career best figure even this was first time he takes wickets in test matches.

Now Anglo Mathews is again out for second test most chances they will lose this match as well and having another poor series against Pakistan which is also coming for two test matches in coming days.
1213  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The Most Expensive Thing Bought with Winnings from the Casino or Sport Bet on: July 01, 2022, 07:15:25 PM
I hope the police caught the guys who stole from OP. What can I say, my house is very secure and there was not a single break in attempt. It's good to live in a neighborhood where people have dogs and cameras everywhere.

My most expensive single win was close to 300 on blackjack in one day of playing. I bought myself a bottle of Jack (somehow felt like it matches the theme), got drunk and eventually gambled away the rest of the money Cheesy I've never bought anything big for myself from gambling. Investing is another thing. I bought a lot of stuff for BTC.
The story happened long time so maybe he just accepted the fact that the items are completely lost. Imagine if they didn't went out of town, maybe it's not only the items who be will lost but lives as well. In your case you might be living in a village the way you describe your surroundings.

It's nice that you afford that kind of living or maybe you came from a wealthy clan? But even in some villages, stealing and other crimes do still happen so don't be too confident but continue to stay vigilant. The item that you bought isn't the most expensive or the nicest but the moment you are having that time is unforgettable. That is more important there.
1214  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A police officer (ASP) in Bangladesh was detected as crypto investor on: June 30, 2022, 10:25:40 AM
It's funny to see a police officer who was supposed to working as per the law, has recently been detected as a cryptocurrency investor. Well, I'm happy to see that personally to be honest.
Last month, the ASP has posted on twitter that he was holding 130 million LUNC which was around ~$70k at that moment. We all know what happened to Luna. He has invested in LUNC after the LUNA crash.
Though I'm personally happy to see that, but it shows how people in Bangladesh are breaking the laws. A lot of people are active in cryptocurrency trading despite govt discouraging it many times.
It's sad they have picked shitcoin instead of bitcoin.

Well, you know them. Not all police/authorities are sincere and honest about their duties but many of them are corrupt and they are the ones that do an illegal act because they aren't afraid as no normal people can question them although this was still risky as their other members can go against them and report them to their head officers.

This is something that we must feel happy or proud of. Not only that his acts are wrong, he also invested on a wrong coin but even if he invested in bitcoin, I think nothing will change as all cryptos are still banned on their country up to this date. Luna did crash but who knows? Maybe the guy miraculously sold all before the tragedy happens.
1215  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: waiting to buy lower? on: June 29, 2022, 08:36:08 PM
People are waiting to buy lower, but what if you're wrong and this is the bottom?

You never know what's going to happen next.
This is true, there's even one user here that says bitcoin is like a box of chocolate because you never know what you are going to get. For someone that is a chocolate lover, all flavors still taste good. Same with bitcoin that whatever you end up with, either a bear or bull, you are going to embrace it because for you, all sides are helpful. When it's bull, you sell and when it's bear you buy.

I am sure that many of us have bought already on different dump angles so there is no need to regret anymore whatever the outcomes will be. Price now is 20k usd and no this is not the bottom because there are prices that are lower than this. Last time we are at 16k I think?
1216  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Why did cryptocurrencies become so valuable for the iGaming market? on: June 29, 2022, 04:30:41 PM
It's more about :
Ease
No documentation needed
More flexible

That is why I do think that market have somehow adopted these cryptocurrencies into the igaming, not just that but the gambling companies as well. But I won't go that far to own something like the Snack Token, because most good sites have already integrated themselves with Bitcoins and other cryptocurrencies therefore having other tokens personally feel like a waste since it's easier to do everything in Bitcoins or ETH.
Ease and flexibility is there but about the documentation thing, I believe they are still involved as some gambling sites are regulated by the government. These gambling sites can then ask kyc's where a user must submit some documents to get approved.

I don't think cryptos are so valuable for them since there are still other payment methods which are more prioritized but the reason why they adopted it is due to the trend. Dunno whats that snack token your talking about but is it similar to sites that have their own token like what we see on betfury and owlgames? It isn't bad to have one though and they can still accept other cryptos along with that.
1217  Economy / Gambling / Re: Cloudbet | Bitcoin Casino & Sportsbook | The No.1 Bitcoin Gambling Site on: June 28, 2022, 06:46:29 PM
@JollyGood this is definitely a cache issue, and probably something the Cloudbet admin should check as one of the settings is probably causing this issue on the website.

Also this issue can come from the hosting side too and not necessarily a third party like cloudflare, but this issue is not a major one and once Cloudbet reports it then it should be fixed almost instantly, hence whenever you’ll see this issue post it here so they can pass it to the relevant people who can in turn provide a fix for it.
There has been some attacks on all of the crypto casinos for a while now and most of them already fixed it, but some places may still face the same issue. Maybe it's about that? I can't say if it is about that or not, but I can say that there is something like that going on, that's for sure.

TOR would be a problem with reaching to the website because that means that you should not be playing here and you are using loopholes to do that, which is not really a way to go, I would honestly suggest otherwise and not to do that at all. I get that it's not going to be a simple thing, but I really hope that people would stay away from places that they should stay away from, or accept the risks they are taking.
1218  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why is it so hard to win at gambling? on: June 28, 2022, 02:32:08 PM
If you play sports betting, then it obviously depends on the predictions and analysis you use because, without predictions, you will not win.
But if it is a luck based game, it will not be easy to win the game because not everyone can get lucky.
These two types of gambling can give you a win but can also make you continue gambling without knowing a time limit.
So it's only natural that we find it difficult to win any type of gambling.
To win in sportsbetting, one must be good at analysing but in casino games, you are mostly predicting since it's not like a sports betting where there are players or teams that will play the game and you can check each of their history to know if who among them performs better.

It's important that we should have a time limit when gambling for many reasons and number one will be because we might have other responsibilities to do that are much important than gambling. Second would be to not get addicted in the game and third/fourth would be to avoid losing too much but if we are winning, it allows us to have something.
1219  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin price and actions to raise it on: June 28, 2022, 10:22:11 AM
I even wondered why now they are not making any decisions to raise the price? I think the answer is quite obvious - such a price is very beneficial for someone.
useful for those who are aware that the current price is a very low price. Whales kept buying them to pile up their profits. We as small investors also need to follow suit. But it's not an easy thing to be able to increase the price, it takes a strong trend and a positive push so that bitcoin can return to the price before the crash.
Don't get your hopes up with an unstable market, just watch and see where the market will go
Whales have completely affected the market because of the volume of assets they pump in and take out on their own terms. In order for a market trend to occur, there has to be a huge pull in the market and these pulls are only possible when strong hands head into the market.

So, do no be in a hurry for price increase, now should even be the best time to make investments of buying BTC. That way, you would be able to accumulate more profits when the price bounces up again.
1220  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: June 27, 2022, 08:20:36 PM
We would like to see many players in the English Premier League of course as it is the most prestigious league in Europe now. However we never know how much that player could adapt to the league after playing in the Serie A for long years. I'm saying this for Andrea Belotti. He has been a part of Torino team for many years that it is unknown how much he can perform in a different league. I haven't heard about any English team being interested in him in the recent times as well.
In recent times the players who have gone to the English Premier League with quite big expectations from the Italian League have not performed as expected. obviously, the expectation was higher but 802 could not even perform at their own level best at all. So I think he should really be careful about what he is going to do about his future. really don't think that a sudden move to English Premier League can be a good idea.
Around fifteen years back Italian soccer was ideal for me and my friends as we were talk and have too many solid points about this, but suddenly this league lost his charm very quickly and badly with now English Premier League is surely leading in globe with their tough competitions and having too many quality teams which are fighting for their high spot and having too many shocking results but here in Italy it's going totally against this, and we have big gaped between few top teams and teams are in lower bottom of league so it is hurting badly even it is losing charm around the globe with now Italian national team is also out of world cup for second consecutive time which is big concern for them, they need to sit and having some positive talk which can change this all in near future.
