I have to disagree with you on several levels here. You seem to be placing everyone in the same boat, as if everyone is greedy and eventually will lose their winnings. That’s simply not the case. In fact some people are so good they actually get banned by casinos. i disagree - I know a friend who has always been a loose - he use to go to casino thinking this time I will be rich.

Its every player's tendency to keep playing again and again for a win. You say its a greed but I would say a love towards the game and moment of wins. I am sure besides the money, there are lot more one experiences when he / she wins the match. This turns the player to become addicted to the game. When a guy is addicted, it would really spoil him and his dependents. Self control is so important. He/she has to get out of the atmosphere around. This will slowly get him out of addiction.

I couldn't agree more. I am a small time gambler which I only gambe just for fun and I am not thinking that gambling is shortcut to become rich. I only gamble when I want to not because I want to become rich. Casino is a business and casino always win when it comes to winning percentage. All you said is true, so i totally agree, i have a friend who gambles frequently, he was the one that introduced me and gives me ideas of some the gambling's i do offline like sports betting, lotto and the rest.
I consider this guy addicted because most times, he ends up gambling even with money he kept for important things, he not that educated so for this reason, most of his gambling is done in a game shop, there was a time he luckily won about $580 usd, when he asked the shop keeper how he would get his won money, the game shop keeper said he would have to visit their head office with his winning ticket to claim he's money, he said ok but later didn't go to the head office, what he did was give his ticket to the shop keeper and started gambling again from the "yet to be claimed" money, he gambled with that money until everything got finished without winning a dime again.

This is to say he won, but still gave everything he won back to the casino, with no luck of winning again in the process, this is why i gamble consciously so as to help me monitor myself and keep myself from getting addicted because no matter how much you win, casinos always win highest at the end of the day.
