1201  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Steem pyramid scheme revealed on: August 30, 2016, 02:15:49 PM
Out of all the Anonymint walls of text posted before, I don't think I've ever seen the hypothesis that the US released Bitcoin to try and take heat off the metals market.  As in, governments and bankers have multiple claims on the same bars of gold and have even gone so far as to sell gold that is still in the ground to people and call it "deep storage" years in advance, plus all the huge metals shorts and rumors of ETF silver being plated molybdenum, the 400 oz gold bars that were discovered to be tungsten inside of LBMA vaults, etc.

The US is in a somewhat bad position in metals compared to China and Russia who have been accumulating.  The Bitcoin premine was likely done by someone like DARPA and handed off to god knows who, then In-Q-Tel came in and bought up a bunch when it was single digits.  So the western governments/bankers are probably doing pretty well Bitcoin-wise, and all the Bitcoin China mines they just sell right back to us at almost cost.  This is why Russia isn't too fond of Bitcoin, they see it as some kind of trick to marginalize the metals market, of which they have accumulated.

Then you even have Ben Bernanke promoting Bitcoin and Hillary Clinton talking about how great "blockchain" is.  The Occam's razor solution seems to point in that direction.  They did things like kill Gaddafi and take the Libya gold, probably to extend the amount of time they have for how much physical they need to deliver to satisfy other countries.  Things like that were done to buy time for trying to create a digital currency replacement to fiat because going back to gold gives people power who they don't want to have it, like creating a bunch of billionaires in places like India overnight...

The public is not like apeshit level stupid.  It's not that Bitcoin is too hard to use or anything, it's that they don't see it as a store of value.  Due to things like rough consensus attacks (ETH vs ETC) and all the black swans that can send Bitcoin to zero, the only people putting money into Bitcoin instead of silver and gold are traders with a large appetite for risk, which is not a very large demographic.  Even with metals being a superior store of value, the general public doesn't even own any of those right now, so they're obviously not going to be buying tons of Bitcoin until the chart below begins to change:

(the other takeaway of the chart below is that everything else is in a bubble that will soon collapse while metals skyrocket)
1203  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Steem pyramid scheme revealed on: August 30, 2016, 06:04:09 AM
I completely agree it is generally insane for a man to marry in a Western country.

H.P. Lovecraft said he thought about killing himself before, but the main reason he would not do it is because of intellectual curiosity, that there's too many gaps in knowledge that exist and "adventures in antiquity".  Doing the generic marriage and living in the suburbs thing is kind of the equivalent of death in that regard.
1204  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Steem pyramid scheme revealed on: August 30, 2016, 05:21:37 AM
Sorry that is not true for the majority of the world's population. You may happen to be stuck in a self-destructing Western country.

The link I posted stated that in the east, money is even MORE important to women there, which is true.  It's just that they haven't given women, which are basically large, emotionally unstable and irrational children any real power, so they still have to go through the man to do things in society.

You hate women. So that tells you right there that you are not in touch with any non-destructing form of civilization. So you would support bizzarro content that is hate speech against women (or specifically to those which participate in monogamy and/or marriage).

I want to build a system that supports your desire to do that, without impinging on those who don't want to be exposed to it.

I am not going to repeat everything I already wrote on Steemit about some hypothesis involving monogamy, R and K selection, etc..  Needless tangent. Indeed my point was that men don't have the problem with asymmetry in the developing countries. Men can walk away from the women after impregnating them and never pay a dime. There is a lot of deep analysis on how that changes everything.

I don't "hate" women, I just recognize the fact that even though they've developed an evolutionary tactic to smile a lot, doesn't make them fundamentally good creatures, and that even though women love to claim men are out to try and "use" them, it's actually the woman who is 10x a bigger offender in that regard in trying to exploit men.  So yes, women are basically vampires.

Monogamists are losers

There is a lot of truth to that, seeing as how the male to female relationship is always completely asymmetrical in the woman's favor at the expense of the man:

http://www.theprimalmale.com/how-women-view-men/

Or to put it another way, just about everything women want is detrimental to the man's freedom or resources.  Putting women up on a pedestal just doesn't make a whole lot of sense.  It's kind of like humans who worship Satan even though Satan supposedly wants them to die.
1207  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Steem pyramid scheme revealed on: August 30, 2016, 04:18:47 AM
Bitcoin has not gone mainstream because ordinary people are creeped out by Crypto Culture...

Bitcoin hasn't gone mainstream because if I have to stay awake at night worrying about how the actions of Jihan Wu, or Gmaxwell reacting to his actions is going to do to the price, then we obviously have no Nash equilibrium.  Seems like the software was designed in a way assuming there would be so many individual miners that one person influencing all of them would not be possible, and the act of forking would involve just blind voting without collusion.  Bitcoin just has a lot of annoyances like this where you can't really justify it's market cap going equal or higher than metals.
1208  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Steem pyramid scheme revealed on: August 29, 2016, 11:59:33 PM
Whale's promoting a culture which repulses the billions of masses, is probably not a good strategy for mass adoption.

Seems to work well for the Zio-media so far.  Without fail, every single time, you can look up the owner of websites who are pushing some type of Sodom and Gomorrah agenda and this is what you will get:

Ashley Madison website CEO:

"Born in 1971, Biderman is a Toronto native. The grandson of Holocaust survivors, he is Jewish — although unsurprisingly, he thinks the 10 Commandments are "outdated."

O vey goys, have an affair!  Destroy your family!  Weaken the building blocks of civilization to make it easier to divide and conquer!

The media, the rap industry, the porn industry, how to cheat on your marriage websites, it's all the same people.
1209  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Steem pyramid scheme revealed on: August 29, 2016, 06:36:28 AM
Steem is descending into a cesspool culture.

lol, that is my real curiousity about Steem.

You keep preaching that it's going to die, but there's thousands of altcoins that are far worse than Steem that have not died.  So I'm curious as to what the content will be like if it just goes into a bear market for a long duration and people are only getting paid five cents to post.  Does it turn into 4chan or something then?  Does it turn into millions of posts where people spam ASCII penises non-stop?  Even if the price went to nothing, as long as it stays online, some obscure demographic from an alternate universe will use it for something.

The Chinese appear to be coming to game Steem's curation reward system:

I wonder what it is with Asians. They always like to cheat when it comes to money. They did the same with Stellar when they had a facebook giveaway. It is also the same in games of chance. All they do is try to cheat.

It's called group evolutionary strategy, when various ethnic groups operate with a hive mind for their own common interests.  The behavior is right out in the open for most sub-groups of Asians, Jews, and others, but if a common white person does it, the Marxist left claims it's racism.  It's probably the biggest double standard that exists on earth.  Kevin MacDonald is the most famous person to talk about it:

http://en.metapedia.org/wiki/Jewish_group_evolutionary_strategy

Socialism tends to be the destroyer of nations, but groups who operate like an insect, borg-collective tend to crowd others that don't out of the game.  The natural selection process seems designed to cull non-group think individuals and characteristics.  If you look at a zebra after all, they all look the same.  What good is a zebra with orange stripes?

So, yes libertarian anarchists, you are a special snowflake, but natural selection is inherently designed to get rid of you.  Fastest way to destroy a civilization or ethnic group?  Praise the benefits of anarchy and individual freedom to one group, while other rival groups operate as collectivists.  Then they come in and steamroll you while you can provide zero resistance against them.  That's the hilarious part about anarchy, it only works if everyone agrees to do it.

i dont think bitcoin is broken
but it is limited.
unnecessarily limited.

Invest in the #1 altcoin...silver...if you're worried about scalability.  The upside within the next 2 years is probably as high or higher than Bitcoin.  I own some of both.
1213  Economy / Speculation / Re: Lose all your capital fast, with MatTheCat and his TA 101A! on: August 18, 2016, 02:39:33 PM
I think you might be a democrat.  Far leftists are always focused on playing the underdog or victim, and according to your sig, you have been both robbed and victimized.  When you see a picture of Obama, does it conjure inspirations of voting for you?

This sums up r0ach. He will never play any  kind of victim on the internet because with his experience he knows he'll only get the stick for it.

Trust me when I say this guy lost a lot of coins in the Bitfinex matter but he won't admit it

Unklez is a terrorist from Turkey. I withdrew from Finex 3 weeks or so before it goxed because it appeared to me someone was naked shorting there and I knew they had to be insolvent due to it.

1214  Economy / Speculation / Re: Lose all your capital fast, with MatTheCat and his TA 101A! on: August 15, 2016, 12:28:41 PM
Lots of people got goxed by bitfinex, Roach. Fuck you for blaming Mat. As a matter of fact, I'd like to see bitcoin crash and burn - I'd gladly lose my profit bitcoin value knowing assholes like you would take a bath.

You missed the r0ach prophecy:

I would gladly see Bitcoin go to $0 and lose all my money as long as Mat took an all-in long first just to see what he typed after it happened or if Bitfinex would be blamed in some type of way.

But Mat would never do such a thing like trading Bitcoin or putting money on Bitfinex due to his past statements:

these markets are just not to be traded

I can't reasonably expect to be able to play these markets

The majority who invest money in a vacuos asset like Bitcoin are certain to lose

FHI, I wasn't calling you dumb with that reply. You're pretty smart about a lot of things. Politics just isn't one of them. Your knowledge of anarchy is about as correct as old gold bugs' attitude on Bitcoin. You know, people who have never used Bitcoin but say "It's a Ponzi scheme." lol.

You completely ignored my statement that I do not care about what happens in the interim, only in the endgame, and in the endgame, both anarchism and statism converge on the same outcome.  That outcome is where one entity or a cartel monopolizes available resources and becomes a slum lord with rent seeking behavior to exploit the rest.  The slum lord will either be the government or some large business entity, but it doesn't really matter.

In the end, you are either the exploiter or exploitee.  Somebody is always getting screwed working for less pay than they should, and someone is always making tons of pay by doing nothing.  Extreme rent seeking behavior is the outcome in both systems.  It's all the same difference.

The first sign you have a real free market is that cartels and monopolies form, and then you don't have a free market.  Just because the state doesn't subsidize them doesn't mean they can't hang onto their power.  Especially when the state is smaller and parties can just murder anyone who stands in their way - Billy the Kid, Lincoln County cattle wars style.

People who are just hell bent on pretending you can create a system of anarchy with some type of Nash equilibrium to prevent one party from turning it into a dictatorship just don't come across as very smart people to me.  Hell, we are watching that unfold in Bitcoin right now.

Anonymizer and Smooth, I need you to look at my tiered benefits proposal for Steem to see if you think it would benefit the system or not:

1220  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Steem pyramid scheme revealed on: August 12, 2016, 06:51:45 PM
I don't think people can invest in Steemit as a community, because they can't develop their own community. Getting a lot of followers doesn't really mean you will earn a lot. If the whales don't vote you, you don't earn much. The ones that are voting me very heavily in the first 30 minutes (up 80 - 100 votes) is because they expect a whale to upvote my posts. I will stop blog posting for a while, because I don't want to feel I am abusing the BROKEN system.

You are too preoccupied with the broken system and aren't even doing your job with your own votes:

https://steemd.com/@anonymint

Voting power   99.5369% (most of the time I'm checking this, you're maxed out and it's not recharging)

You have ~10m vests in voting power. It may be a few cents, but they are useful to start an upvote trend in newer articles that you may deem worthy.

Bitshares voter apathy strikes again.  On Bitshares you were voting in order to try and preserve your investment by regulating delegates.  On here, you're voting more for curation economic gain, but the curation economic gain is miniscule for someone like Anonymint, so there's no real reason for him to do it besides doing someone else a favor.

It's kind of like the opposite of Bitcoin game theory if you're under a certain threshold of SP.  The incentives just don't exist then.  This disincentivizes small purchasers of Steem or SP and is one of the biggest flaws.  You have to be invested with a ton of money to make the act of curation worth doing as a manual form of labor.
