1201  Local / Press & News from India / Re: [2017-02-09] BS: New system makes it harder to track Bitcoin transactions on: February 10, 2017, 03:32:58 PM
That is why Bitcoin is gaining popularity due to non traceable transaction which most of them who are in gambling and other illegal field wanted it so they are the main users who are using bitcoin, this was the situation in the starting phase but now Bitcoin is used by almost everyone like gamblers, online job earners and traders.
1202  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 ChronoBank ICO 😍 5 days left! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 on: February 10, 2017, 03:29:56 PM

someone posted about chronobank being scam all because instahire didn't confirm themselves to partner up with chronobank. any reaction to this Chronobank Support?
here is the thread. https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1783168.0;topicseen

it may be best to hear some thing from you on this thread.

LOL! It was the most clumsy and desperate attempt of trolls to spread FUD. In reality the announcement is here:

http://instahire.jobs/blog/2017/02/07/instahire-announces-strategic-partnership-with-chronobank/

some are only here for making fraud with others and for spreading the bad nothing else.

It is true that their will be always frauds and fuders who will always do this type of false claim as they did not joined in the starting phase and just wanted to enter in low range , that is why they are doing this type of fuds
1203  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is Holding Bitcoin a long time good way to make money? on: February 10, 2017, 09:25:56 AM
maybe... But btc is famous because of its wavy motions. If you just hold your btcs doing nothing, you may not gain enough. Its better to try some exchanges / trades etc
Why he will not get anything if he will not do any thing with them. You can see that from the last year the price of bitcoin is tripled up so all of those who have kept their bitcoin doing nothing on their wallet then they have got a good profit from that investment.
If it does not do anything alone can make money, especially if we do trade with short-term,
buy when cheap prices and sell when it is expensive. It'll make us earn a bigger profit than not doing anything
You talking about how good the profit from trading only , without considering the risk you can lost alot!
People always lured with that way but failed in the end.
For me making money by investing long term in bitcoin always be a good idea rather than any other way & investment, why? Simply i am risk taker and i believe in bitcoin!

What you said is true, everyone talks about profit from trading but no one tells about the risk of loss in trading also, their are so many users who are in big loss due to trading in altcoin without knowing about the coin features and get scammed by scam coins,

That is why if you are earning other income then save from that and buy bitcoins and keep for long term apart from that you can earn bitcoins through this forum buy doing lot of task.

1205  Local / Press & News from India / Re: [2017-02-07] ET: Indian bitcoin startups form a blockchain association on: February 10, 2017, 09:15:31 AM
Covered by Moneycontrol as well.

http://www.moneycontrol.com/news/business/indian-bitcoin-players-form-association-seek-regulations_8450261.html

BVAI confirms that all the members of the association follow strong KYC measures before getting users on board. None of the exchange and trading platforms accept cash and have implemented strict compliance policies. All members are ready to share information about their users and their trades with government authorities on need basis.

Isn't that a little strange, given that exchanges in other countries have gone to court to protect the privacy of their users?

What you are saying is true, how can then users can give their personal documents when this exchanges are not giving any surety of safety of their documents as they are clearly giving hint of that they will share information of users and their trades to the government authorities, that means any one if come and claim of being government authority and ask the details about the users of their exchange , then they will share it. It is clearly breach of agreement of exchanges between users and exchange of not disclosing the details of the users without getting confirmation from the users.
1206  Local / Press & News from India / Re: [2017-02-09] BS: China tightens controls on Bitcoin trading platforms on: February 10, 2017, 09:03:49 AM
Apart from this news their is also one restriction china has made is they have stopped all exchanges to ban buying of bitcoin in all major exchanges for atleast 30 to 60 days and two of exchanges have blocked buying btc in their exchange to all users due to this most of them started to sell their btc due to this btc price crashed yesterday, once more the btc price was not able to breach the all time high price and the sellers pushed back the btc price below 1000$ price of bitcoin.
1207  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Easiest way to convert money into BTC? on: February 10, 2017, 08:55:26 AM
You can buy bitcoins at localbitcoins.com via cash trade in person or cash deposit. They provide escrows and connect  you with sellers. You can also try wall of coins,a peer to peer bitcoin exchange, where you can receive bitcoins within 15 minutes after you cash deposit. The Mycelium bitcoin wallet for android offers a feature called Local Trader.Using it, you can find sellers in your area and meet them in person to buy bitcoins with cash.

i like that option you just described for the app.  i wanted to code a location system into a bitcoin wallet for various reasons. i have coin.space installed on a windows phone and it can find another user via the app and location.

i thought a neat thing for BTC with the location built into a mobile wallet would be a scavenger hunt.  something like the pokemon craze, but bitcoin wallet based.  go to a certain location and automatically receive some BTC.  would be nice for pushing customers into local businesses

Thank you for giving details about mycelium bitcoin app of locating bitcoin users nearby locally, because i use to go to localbitcoin and search the buyer and sell my bitcoins and i was thinking of this type of app and now i got it. It is very usefull if any time we are stuck in need of money then this app will surely help us if any of the local bitcoiner is nearby to help it.

1209  Economy / Economics / Re: With sound money in place (BTC, Gold,...) all consumer credit is gone on: February 10, 2017, 08:44:27 AM
Hi,
I was wondering, did anyone of you ever thought about that if there were only sound money in place such as (BTC, Gold,...) all consumer credit is gone (credit cards) that are now handed out like samples by drug dealers.

How many that you know would survive such wake up call? Not being able to finance themselves by debt but only with money on the table. I think at least half the medium and up sized businesses would go bust in 1 month, about individuals - really no idea...

Ya it is true that almost from small individual to small businessman to big businessman, everyone is running their business on credit not all of them are using their own money, so it is sure that who ever is holding the gold and bitcoin they will be surviving and then it will start of they are issuing the credit to all. So i think it wont die but btc and gold will take place of credit to others who are not holding them and they wanted to survive.

1210  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: can bitcoin / eth change pharmaceutical prices? on: February 10, 2017, 07:58:32 AM
when i read the news it makes me sad that some medicine cost so much in america and europe while in india its just a few dollars.
i am wondering if bitcoin / ethereum can change this and if someone knows why these prices are so high??? IS it because of the licenses?

You are seeing the price in india as cheap because as said above conversion of usd to inr is high 1 usd is nearby 65+ inr so it make cheap for america and europe purchasers but in india it is costly. and more over it is true that their is no relation between cost difference and bitcoin currency, ya but one thing can be done is the cost will be same in all country if it is quoted in bitcoin and ethereum but the same will be when you convert the value of this cryptocurrency to the respective fiat currency cost.
1211  Local / India / Re: Weird experience with cex.io on: February 08, 2017, 03:10:42 PM
It was like a burden on my head, now I'm relax  Grin
Happy to see transaction got reversed to original account.

How can you tell that the amount revered back to is to only cex.io and not anyone else, as you have mentioned before this post of your amount got reversed back to your account and within few days it gets back revered it. It may be that what account you are using have noticed this reversal and they would also have reversed to their account.

Did you informed the cex.io about this amount reversal from their account and did you got any email or notification about the transaction amount got reversed from their account and they are going to revert it back to their account. What you are telling is not able to digest the truth.
1212  Economy / Gambling / Re: Cloudbet question and torwallet.com too on: February 08, 2017, 03:03:40 PM
does cloudbet has ablity to withdraw more than 5000 btc? through mix palay

cloudbet is scam?
torwallet.com is scam?
Cloudbet isn't a scam i've used them for a few times and withdrawals are okay not sure about 5000 btc how did you reach such huge amount? For torwallet here's their ann thread the owner has negative trust so putting such huge amount isn't advisable. Use a desktop wallet if you're planning to withdraw huge amount of btc.

yeah cloudbet is not scam but the only problem at them is withdrawal, betting error and unattended support but aside from that they cannot be called as scam for now since i've seen that they refunding their users but sadly its late, but if people cannot trust them then they should not go on cloudbet so that they will not worry to their money, and also betting on different trusted site is also recommended so that if other site will face some system error you can still have another choice of gambling site to transact on.

What do you mean by cloudbet not a scam but they are having problem with withdrawal , betting error and unattended support,

I am really feeling that you are the alt of the cloudbet as what you are telling are the main default system of a scam site, because if they are not able  to support the customer then they are not fit to run the betting site. So it is more clear that the cloudbet site is purely scam.
1213  Local / India / Re: Coinsecure delaying KYC verification on: February 08, 2017, 02:56:09 PM

1214  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is this man addicted to gambling? on: February 08, 2017, 02:43:55 PM
My close friend is 50 years old. He's never been addicted to anything throughout his life. His friend made a poker website and now he keeps playing there a lot. he also uses some free tickets to tournaments he gets from betcoin.ag signature campaign. He plays almost every day for a few hours. And he became more nervous in general. But he doesn't think he's addicted and his argument for that is that he can stop playing for a day or two (that's true) and he doesn't spend his own money on it at all. Would you call such a man addicted?

Their is not a single way of addiction on his activities which you are thinking to describe it, he is playing newly poker that is why he is now addicted to play for long and as soon as he gets bored he will stop it and that too he is playing freerolls so that is not affecting his family and he is 50yrs old so it is good idea of killing the free time. Until he is not investing and losing money it is not called false addiction ya but he is getting addicted to the game as he is playing for first time, give time and come back
1215  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is fee still high (6000 unconfirmed transactions) on: February 06, 2017, 03:09:28 PM
I don't know about everyone else but I made 3 transactions today and all of them got 3 confirmations in under 30 minutes. I never thought I ever had a transaction happen that fast before.

Unconfirmed Transactions were very low around the time of your post, less than 4000.

But only a few hours later and the Unconfirmed Transactions have increased back up to 19590 Unconfirmed Transactions.
So it is getting slower already.

Always check https://blockchain.info/unconfirmed-transactions ,
before sending BTC , the higher the # the longer the delays.
Anytime the number is 10000 or below , BTC runs at normal speed.

 Cool

oh my god it reached again 37000  Cry why this happens can anyone explain here, please. I think ts because of spammy transaction that is a cyber attack on blockchain network. just I had checked twice once it was 3000 and next time it was 5000 so now I hoped that it would be around 3000 to 6000 but it shocked me because its 10 times more than my imagination.

This are due to lot of faucet transactions and other low volume gambling transaction are happening in the match time so you have to check that when ever their are sports matches running that time you will see high unconfirmed transaction due to heavy betting on other times you will see very less unconfirmed transactions as that time their wont be any match and only some of them are using the transfers.

and also the price rises so according to that the transaction fees also changes.
1216  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: I have a couple of questions on: February 05, 2017, 11:14:42 PM
Hi!

So I'm a twitch streamer, and have close to 500 followers. I get tips every now and then, and I was thinking about allowing followers to tip (and possibly sub) with bitcoin.

I've also been told that depending on how often I stream, that some people might be interested in advertising on my streams in the btc community, if that's the case how does that work?

I don't really have a huge use for btc but I've been told I should accept it several times. What are the best services for changing bitcoin into USD?

Thanks in advance guys.

It is very good idea it will give a boost in your service, their are so many exchanges where you can change your bitcoins in USD. the good ones are, poloniex, bittrex , c-cex this are some good exchanges where you can buy and sell bitcoins

1218  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Help! Transaction done? on: February 05, 2017, 09:36:12 PM
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=50037.580

Their official topic.
The last pages seem to be filled with people that claim to have been scammed by bitcoin fog.

Im sorry to bring you the bad news...

Ya it is true that the site is not paying back to lot of users and even they are locking the withdraw from the account and this problem is running from past novemeber 2016, so if you have done this transaction recently then you should have checked it about the site fairness. As mostly you wont receive your bitcoins or else it will take very long time.
1219  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: February 05, 2017, 09:28:28 PM
Man City are starting to make a charge for the top spot just 10 points behind Chelsea now and as we know anything can happen in the Premier League. 10 points isn't a very big lead as it's just 3 games in front and if Chelsea start to lose some games then Tottenham and Man City will be there to swoop. Man Utd are also making a run to finish in the top 4 but they will need to show that they can beat the top teams if they have any chance at finishing in the top 4. These next 3 months are going to be exciting to watch to see where the top teams finish up.

Man City team is uncertain as in some games they are loosing to bad teams, on other hand Man utd are going good with last some matches so I think if they play same way then surely they will finish in top 4 position in table. Chelsea after good start lost last some games but today they won back against Arsenal so they are in the leading position in top 4
1220  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do small investments make sense? on: February 05, 2017, 09:22:34 PM
When we think about investments we imagine investors with big sums of money, so for btc casino it would be 1 or more btc, for instance. However, the minimum amount you can invest is usually 0.01btc which is only 10$. Do you think such investments are profitable but you earn small sums or maybe they don't make sense at all? Can someone explain it to me?

Investing small amount of money is a wasting of time for me since it'll grow very slow. It's better to use that money for other things like gambling. We can have fun and a chance to turn it into good money in a fast way.

I dont agree with you, because even small investment are good on long term because atleast you are earning some from the investment but if you go for gambling then their are full chances of loosing everything.

Small investment gives you small profit but in long term you can see good returns.
