hi guys

i ve tried to set it up:

the machine is rebooting and after worker config

(i m not sure how to write the pools adress ,need to write the startum+tcp or not?

i don t see anything appearing in miner status and the machine is keeping on reboot every 2/3 min

solution guys??
Super I am glad to hear it Grin
Ask for volume discount and you can get an USER MANUAL for free Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin

How do you expect to make any BTC related business when you do miss the basics Huh Huh Huh
Any way make a group buy and collect 2 or 3 times from what you are going to pay because of volume discount. This is the only thing which brainless idiot ca do Grin Grin Grin
The questions is how many brainless idiots (bigger than you)  are left to send you their BTC Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin

Not to defend him,but if his network is anything other than...modem-->router,it can be a bit of a bear  Wink

But setting up a pool addy (check at your pool's website for instructions) in these is too simple, hell,I'm a moron in regard to networking & software.

I can't even compile CGminer & I had my Ants up & mining in about 5 minutes, had to wait for changes to take effect took half that time up  Cheesy
I am thankful in behalf of papmoi Grin

Thank you vey much Unacceptable Wink

Papamoi, as you see even morons can cope with such things. I am wondering if bigger idiot theory still works Huh Or you papamoi are the biggest idiot of them all Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin

1204  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official Thread: AMT on: February 18, 2014, 06:52:51 AM
Also.

We're expanding a bit. Looking to fill a few positions from customer service to marketing and even a few operations oriented positions. Rather than positing what we need, we'd kind rather do it the other way around and just say.. if your in the tri-state/main line area and you'd like to work for a coin mining manufacturer please send your resume to Josh@advancedminers.com and include a brief description as to what you'd like to do, where you think you might fit in and what prior experience you have that would make you be good for that role. We're open, we need staff across the board to handle several departments, and even technicians are welcome to apply as well.

This is kind of a open tryouts type thing. Again not the most professional way to recruit but hey, the birds got Vince Papale in 1976 and that didn't turn out to bad now did it.

LOL

The "coin mining manufacturer" is expanding the assembly lines! Hurry up, people!
AMT: First units ship out on Wednesday guys
Which Wednesday? the one of the 10th week of March Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin Grin or  19.02.2014 Wednesday?
I know that ISAWHIM knows exactly which Wednesday are you referring to but he is silent this days Huh Huh Huh Huh
PS: it would be much easier for your customers if you AMT guys start to speak with dates and stop using week numbers and week days. Do you think so? I do and i am damn sure that you customers do also

Don t take in account what this bastard of dropt and his gayfriend loshia are babling around

they just do like waste their time and others

but as i said it s better to warn people about costs and returns and make them know that there is other cheaper alternative

because if they pay their miners at this price and with the hashrate skyroacketting there is more than big chances that they will never make any money with it

so it s a friendly advice to any forumers and nothing against u

Drops,
Thank you honey Grin
Yeah papamoi is getting sick and desperate because of us ?
You should join gay side that is a key for sucess Grin
A have a special medicine for the first ass pain when you enter our world The recipe is to stick as many different chips in your ass and start hashing from the first try papamoi Grin
And finally just spread your chicks wide open and publish the Incredible miner Pcb  as open source Grin Grin
Ps: skip the firmware it will be too shity and stinky for sure Grin

Please don t pay attention to this gay loshia .he and his friend dropt are wasting time around talking no sense

just read their posts

please pm about volume as we have some plans

thanks

I miss the ignore button also Grin
Papamoi is famous with first "open source ASIC chip" and a lot more funny things. Do not waste your time to follow his posts. But in case you want some fun I strongly advise you to follow mines

hi

any volume discount?

Are you asking for chip volume discount to mount them on your PCB ;
It is working an only missing part to make money are the chips in volumes Grin

Thanks it worked perfectly  Grin
The trick is to press ctr+a+d to quit screen session at the end

1209  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Technobit HEX16A2 - 16 chip Avalon Gen2 board on: February 17, 2014, 07:02:07 PM
I have again some questions  Huh
There are some screen shots of putty to TpLink?
Like one https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=376351.msg4889492#msg4889492
How could I contact my TpLink that way?
I am able to contact TpLink With putty, but how to get cgminer's screen  Huh
I am not so good with linux  Cry (yet)

you need a putty.exe for windows
start it
put your TP-link IP (192.168.0.99 as an example) in the conection box and CONNECT
when terminal window oppens
user: root
pass: [your password]  ( you have to set a pass in the web !!!)
then after logging in type : "screen -r"
that's it
+100 Wink
1210  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Technobit HEX8A1 - 6/8 chip Coincraft A1 board -999 EUR March delivery on: February 17, 2014, 05:30:20 PM
I received my HEX8, compiled cgminer with --enable-hexminerb and --enable-hexminer8. It detects my 3 HEX16B and the HEX8A1, but the hashrate of the HEX8A1 is displayed as zero (while the hexBs work OK). What could be the problem?

Also, the fan is quite loud Smiley
What is the power to hex8?
From same psu like your hexb's?
Post clock and voltage pls
1211  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official Thread: AMT on: February 17, 2014, 08:09:22 AM

Ok got Bad Boy on it's own PSU and TP-Link and now it's hashing! 220GH/260W
Some hardware errors, that's probably the caps with bad legs. Still has green and orange light.

Bad Boy hates company!
I'll try and tape out the +5V and Ground in the USB cable and see if that makes him play nice with the others!

Gator I am repeating this constantly over and over Wink give it more voltage to reduce hw errors they are pretty good now
1214  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Antminer S1 open for sale again] The last round before the Chinese New Year on: February 16, 2014, 03:13:04 PM
Sites up, same price. Feb 28 shipping, no thanks.

Can you show me what out there is a better hash/dollar that is shipping in two weeks?
It does not matter dude you will loose money for sure. When there is nothing to buy just pass it or by btc instead
1215  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Technobit HEX8A1 - 6/8 chip Coincraft A1 board -999 EUR March delivery on: February 16, 2014, 02:51:47 PM
I see, so different PSU on one host.

Yeah, I figure out when powering 6x Hex16b, if you use a power protected hub, multiple PSU works fine.

I noticed some lose Capacitor legs on this bad Hex8A1. Maybe they got broken in packing or shipping but the one on the right looks like a horrible solder joint. Not sure if this would stop it hashing though. I'm not an expert at electronics. Wish I was!

Look like the voltage stand on 800mv even with 1000mv setting.

Actually my board also had same broken capacitor leg but cause by my self  Cheesy.
But i just join it with his friend there( the one you point by single red arrow)

Did yours stop working with broken capacitor leg?
I pushed the legs to touch the nearest resistor. It powered up with it's sister 220/880 ran for 5 mins, then crashed the power supply.

The bad one had green and orange light as always. The good one had two green lights and a red light after crashing.
After rebooting the good one went back to two green lights and started working. The bad one refused to reboot again.

I think there is some charge building up in the bad one after 5mins which causes the PSU to trip failsafe, then that charge is still held for some time, which stops it rebooting back up, but a day later it will.

I'm going to give it one last try and run it on it's own TP-Link. How do I upgrade an old TP-Link from 0_1_0 to 0_2_0? Do I flash the "factory.bin" file or do I use the "sysupgrade.bin" file. It's not in factory condition anymore, so I guess it's an upgrade, but I've only seen people mention the factory file?
Syspgrade is ok. Make sure after upgrade you fill all web boxes and leave nothing empty in cgminer config except pools if you are using less than three
1216  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [Antminer S1] Sharing of ROI status? on: February 16, 2014, 02:38:45 PM
Help me if I'm doing it wrong, but at current low BTC price it will take over one year with a slightly overclocked Antminer to get back the BTC I have to pay to get one.

I live in Germany. I have the option to buy one for 1499 Euros at Amazon or 1699 Euro (ebay) or equivalent in BTC if I want one in the next few days and don't want to pay and wait extra for customs.

At 500 Euros per BTC at Bitcoin.de (optimistic to actually get 500 right now) the miner would cost roughly 3 Bitcoins. When I run mining calculations at btcinvest.net and take a conservative view, use 420 Watts of power overclocked, expect a 20% jump each diff adjustment, take 5% price increase of BTC/USD per jump it will take til summer to ROI in USD value and over a year to ROI in BTC. I'm much better off buying more bitcoins at a bargain for 500 Euros, am I not?
Of course you are!
I have written a lot in his tread especially about roi but I was blamed to be a trol.
As I told many times we are forced to choose the better from the worst deals around. An the only thing left is to struggle for roi. Ants is the best deal but there is plenty of room for price reduction. And it will never make roi.it is obvious that he can not scale with installation so I wish him to keep his chips in a safe place Grin away from mining Cheesy
The big issue is that regular business is making 20-30% profit, but all chip suppliers want at least 50-100 times profit for their chip. I have had enough with nre cost bulshit. Let them keep their chips and their miner. For instance with imaginary cost of 0.5 btc there will be a plenty of room for manufacturer profit which he deserves and some hope for us to make a bug but that is what is called greed

Locking good zich Smiley

And tell us how exactly you connect to internet, you devices(modem, router, hub, switch)?

Hi,

I have TpLink is connected to LinkSys EF4116 16port switch and that is connected to Inteno FG500 (model is determined by google picture shearch).
Inteno is property of my ISP and it is located in my basement, it is locked so that I can not change any settings on it.

My problem is that TpLink and also my Raspberry pi (with couple of yellow jackets) are not accessible when connected as stated.
When I plug those directly to my laptop I can connect (putty) to those, but when online can't find those.

They are hashing okei, but I can't view status or change setting without unplugging them from internet and connecting to my laptop  Undecided
Pick a dum eight port socho switch
Connect all your minig gear + laptop to it
Pick a wire which has internet and connect it there also. The chance for your and minig stuff not to have internet is low most probably it would be ok
They have some kind of port isolation on your way
1219  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Technobit HEX8A1 - 6/8 chip Coincraft A1 board -999 EUR March delivery on: February 16, 2014, 10:40:41 AM
I have a question.

I have ~0.01% HW errors, but my Rejects or Refuses are quite high.

How can I get rid of them? Do I use the wrong clock setting?
Does this cause my variable btc reward at my pool, because normally it was really stable.
As zich said you are golden Wink
1220  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Official Thread: AMT on: February 16, 2014, 07:34:48 AM
Oh, btw, AMT quietly upped their power consumption yet again

Power Usage
900w-1200w

Im shocked!
Une more update is comming)
And of course for max speed you shoul look at higher value Cheesy
