ethereum have a good chance to increase in next year and now the highest price for ethereum is $7xx and maybe we can see ethereum hit $1000 soon. I am sure that there are much of investors waiting for ethereum to reach another highest price and they can patient to wait the moment. but for reaching $5000, I don't think ethereum could increase until that price and maybe ethereum need more time to reach $5000.

I want to Buy some litecoin but price seems inflated. How can I Know when the price is low enough to buy? I think it's called the dip. I am such a noob lol Please point me to resources to learn about this Thanks  you can take a look at the history of the litecoin trade. if you need more info you can visit coinmarketcap and then select litecoin. when the price reaches a low price and how much the price. you need to determine how the trend now, is it going down or up because if you want to buy litecoin, make sure the trend is down and the price is at the bottom price so you can buy a lot of litecoin. there are too many indicators that you need to know and if you can master 1 or 2 indicators then I think it is enough for you to make analyze. |

it is hard for bitcoin cash to beat bitcoin because bitcoin cash is a new coin that creates the hard fork and bitcoin cash don't have a big support for what bitcoin have. but bitcoin cash has the chance to beat bitcoin if people are likely to trade bitcoin cash so the volume can increase too. but I guess we can see what will happen in the future as we know that there are a few people that could buy bitcoin right now and maybe after bitcoin price increase so high and cannot buy, then people will change and buy bitcoin cash.

for people which want to sell their bitcoin then they can do right now but for the other people that want to hold their bitcoin then they can do this too. I believe that many people have their own reason to sell or to hold as they want their plan works goods for them. we cannot force someone to sell their bitcoin because maybe we are right in future. it is better if we can give some explanation to other people so they can understand what we want to tell them.

there are too many benefits of bitcoin that maybe we don't know. but the most benefit is we can send the bitcoin without going to the bank or other places. we can send it from our computer or our android phone to a person which lived in another country without any limits. the other benefits are we can earn money from hold, buy and sell bitcoin if the price increases and we can use bitcoin as our a short or long term investment so we can double our money.

the price is back to reach $17292 and we are increased since yesterday. I agree that we should take the money as our profit and invest in other things. we still have a chance to keep our bitcoin and invest some of our money in elsewhere. it is better if we have a plan with our wealth so we can manage our future from now on.

Obviously, you will have to know $ you bought at, Current $ and $ you sold.
It's not too hard to figure out if you buy/sell with Fiat.
But if you buy BCT/ETH and use that to buy another coins, it gets REALLY COMPLICATED.
For example, I use Binance.
It shows # of coins I have and its BTC value only.
It shows total Dollar amount I have for all coins but doesn't show each coins'.
When I want to sell/buy, I also have to put 0.00xx BTC value instead of Dollar amount. (BTC value and price of coin I want to buy both Fluctuates, hard to put the right price)
If I trade coin to another coin few times, there is no way I can run stats.
I can only look at the total $ amount and say 'I put in $1000 total, hm I made $200 bucks lol'
How do you keep the track of performances for each coins???
I think every exchange has their own history of trade and I usually take a look at my history. I can separate each of coins I bought and sold so I can know how much profit that I get so far. it helps me to analyze the price and I can see the trends although not much. but if we can make an excel file then it would be better. |

Why are so many devoted to Bitcoin vs other cryptos?
This is because Bitcoin are reliable, easy to use, less fees on transaction, and its versatile price.
because people prefer bitcoin than other cryptos. they can withdraw their bitcoin into fiat and if they want to use other cryptos then I don't think that it will easy for them to withdraw. besides that, new people only know bitcoin and they don't know that besides bitcoin, there are many altcoins and after they learn more about cryptocurrency, they finally understand. |

I think the other people have the same problem with you. the ethereum network got many transactions that need to confirm and they need to wait for a long time. I am sure that this problem will be solved soon or now the transaction is back to normal again. I do not yet check it because I don't make any transaction on the ethereum network. |

If bitcoin died do you think people will lose intrest in other cryptos aswell? which altcoin would you invest in if there were no bitcoin?
I think people will not lose their interest in crypto because there are so many coins that they can choose and I am sure that there will be other coins that will replace bitcoin position. besides that, bitcoin has a new coin from the fork and who know that new coin will be the next of new bitcoin but I doubt it because there are no other coins that could replace bitcoin position. bitcoin will remain bitcoin. |

imagine if we are not use USD as global currency as exchange anymore but we use cryptocurrency as global currency
USD can go home back to the USA
every nation have their own fiat money but when it come to international trade, they must use cryptocurrency
i don't tell must BTC here, maybe BTC or BCH, or something new that every nation can accept that crypto

maybe I agree with this. we have our own currency for every country. but like what AidenCasanova said, if we want to go to another country then we can use cryptocurrency and if we want to spend the coins, we need to exchange to local currency. I think in the future, if cryptocurrency is approved, then there will be the adjustment from cryptocurrency that will be stable as a currency from cryptocurrency to local currency. maybe we need a coin that will be a bridge between cryptocurrency and local currency so we don't have any problem to exchange. |

There are many stories about bitcoin. About the bitcoin bubble, I think the bitcoin is the bubble. However bitcoin has not become a bubble because the capital of bitcoin is big but still small compared to other markets.
many of us say bitcoin is a bubble but if it is true, we cannot do anything. the price is up and down and makes many people trying to get bitcoin in many ways. but for me, I don't take too serious about this and I think it is better if we can enjoy the price whenever it is up or down and we can try to make a profit from this. if we only follow the news without watching what is happening in the market, then we can be too late to take action and we can lose our chance to be a part of the market. |

One reason could be that there is another bullrun on altcoins about to start as we witnessed it in early 2017, only much bigger. Many people will likely realize their Bitcoin profits in Alts as it has already begun with ETH, Ripple and Litecoin shooting up.
and the other coin will follow with those coins. today, I see bitcoin price is going down as we have to see another hard fork and like before, the price might be down for a while. but I don't want to sell my bitcoin now because the price is not good for me. I think if we want to buy bitcoin, we can wait a little time to make sure the price is really going down again or stay at the price now. |

$5000 in 2018 is too high because we do not yet break $1000 and it still a long journey for litecoin itself. there are more things that litecoin could do before the price reach $5000. I think we are happy if the price could increase more than $500 first and then we can break another price. litecoin has a big chance to increase and now the price wants to try more than $300.

first time I knew bitcoin, I don't even know that bitcoin could be an investment or ways for me to make money. I only know that bitcoin is something like we can have to collect. but from time to time I learned bitcoin, I realize that bitcoin can exchange to local fiat and after my first time withdraws, I thought that hey I really make money from bitcoin and the money was transferred into my bank account. and from that time, I become bitcoin addicted and want to collect more bitcoin. and now, after the price increase so high, I can withdraw my bitcoin to fiat in anytime without any delay.

Most people own less than .01 BTC The fees to sell or transfer this .01 BTC is getting absurdly expensive and will continue to rise. My theory is the fees will become so high that most people will just hold onto their BTC rather than sell. Especially when the cost to send .01BTC cost more than .01BTC. Eventually the addresses holding huge amounts of BTC will start to sell. It will clog the blockchain and fee prices will sky rocket even more. The transfers will take longer and longer to confirm and everything will get "stuck". I believe this will fuel more and more panic selling as everyone tries to cash out at the same time. What do you think about bitcoin fees and the .01 theory?  when bitcoin price is too expensive and the fees are too high then we need something else to replace this and we have bitcoin cash and bitcoin gold already which is not too high to pay the fee. we can use bitcoin cash or bitcoin gold to send the amount of bitcoin and I think at the time of confirming is not take too long from this two of bitcoin. maybe I don't much about bitcoin, bitcoin cash and bitcoin gold but it is just my opinion from an ordinary person. |

I think there are many coins that you can buy especially if you have $12,000 to invest. you need to determine invest for a short term or for a long term because there is a coin that will increase for some period of time. besides that, you need to control your emotion while you are going to see the price is up and down especially if bitcoin price is up then the altcoin will be down temporarily. |
