The men should rot in hell. These crimes are on an increase and any punishment seems less for them. I just pray that the girl lives.

Sad to tell you this.... but if she lives, she faces decades of humiliation and isolation. The girl is from the Yazidi community. And in those parts of the world, death is more preferable than getting raped. No one will marry a rape survivor, and most probably even the parents will disown her.

Death is not a solution for the small girl. Just because the society will ill treat her, she should die? She does not even know what has happened to her and what the meaning of "rape." She has a whole life with her. I can understand that people prefer to die rather than live in such situations but if prayers do work, I will pray that she lives a peaceful life as she deserves it. Death is only for those who have committed a sin.

I have known about rape victims who have managed to lead a peaceful life and leave behind those scars.

I think the same, all the isis member should be 'judged' because they should pay for their action and after justiced (death penalty).

I want them to be physically tortured and then die a miserable death. This would teach a lesson to the others and they will shiver before thinking about committing such a crime.

12183  Other / Meta / Re: Report Comment Field on: April 12, 2015, 06:37:07 PM

Usually that would be enough, but you have to remember what is spam or an 'abusive comment' or post that doesn't make sense to you might make sense or be completely valid to others.

I understand the fact that what I may find spam, the MODs may not find it spam and hence my percentage is dropping.

However, some members make personal comments/attacks on other users, make bad comments about religion, help others to commit suicide, talk about drugs and so on and I report all those comments but I find that the reports are excluded and so I don't get what can be the reason as they being considered "BAD."

Also, what if half the number of my reports are "BAD", will the MODs start disregarding my future reports?
12184  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: is this the end of bitcoin? on: April 12, 2015, 06:05:25 PM
If the price of bitcoin reaches $1, then well it's the end as rising again to $238 will be nearly impossible. This year is just a bad year for bitcoins as the price has kept decreasing but I hope it does not end and remains above $200.
12185  Other / Meta / Re: "THE LIST" on: April 12, 2015, 05:58:01 PM

Errm, you do realize that there are only few countries who consider bitcoins as "illegal" right? And if you say that being a part of bitcoin is not good, then why the hell did you even involve yourself and joined this forum in the first place? Also, what do you mean when you say "legal"? Under some regulations and authority?

What's the need to be so rude? I dint reply to you so if you don't agree, just IGNORE my comment. I know that Bitcoin is not legal in my country and sooner the time will come when I will stop using it. I am surprised that sometime back I had sent you a PM explaining you about DDos attack when you had asked me about the same and this is the reply I get that "why the hell have I joined this forum." Thanks and I feel honored now.

Anyways, this post was about ignoring newbies and I need to stick to that only. I hope that newbie jail is implemented soon as they not only spam the forum but also misuse the trust rating.

12187  Other / Meta / Re: A simple question "Is it against the forum rules make "double posting" ? on: April 12, 2015, 12:47:02 PM
I don't find it wrong in anyway as once even I did it to post comments in a Signature campaign I was a part of but my second post was deleted even though it was not off topic and it wasn't merged. I don't get paid to post in my signature campaign but well it is considered as bumping a thread twice and so one needs to clutter up their post to avoid double posting or wait for another person to reply and then post another comment.
12188  Other / Meta / Re: "THE LIST" on: April 12, 2015, 12:29:36 PM

And yet you seriously need to "sell your sig space" for some tiny fractions of BTC?

Anyway - the whole point is not the "ad sigs" themselves but the "stupid pointless posts" that are being made in order to "earn that tiny amount of BTC". If you are not making stupid pointless posts then you should have nothing to be concerned about (and no-one is forcing you to ignore anyone).

I do it as a pass time and I am not obliged to answer anyone what I do and what I don't as being a part of a sig campaign isn't a crime. I don't earn my living being a part of a signature campaign as I have a full time job.

Being a part of bitcoins is in itself not a good thing as it isn't a recognized currency and considered ILLEGAL. I would rather argue about how to make bitcoins worth talking about and LEGAL rather than Sig campaign spammers. But unfortunately, I don't find anyone interested in making bitcoins a LEGAL currency or working on it as some people are happy about using it for gambling, money laundering, selling illegal goods and hence they don't want bitcoins to be regulated.

I don't belong to any RELIGION nor consider myself as a HUMAN as some people here claim themselves as one. Continue your argument as that gives you peace.

When I did an image search for your image to know what it was I stumbled upon the statement. It was a beautiful statement so I reproduced it. That is all.

12190  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Do you like to see an Avatar Campaign? [POLL] on: April 12, 2015, 10:47:47 AM
Voted Yes. I personally don't mind having an Avatar campaign but yeah, a person like me who recognizes a member by his/her avatar, it might be tough now as all may have the same Avatar. However, it's much better than the indecent Avatars we already have.
12191  Other / Meta / Re: Report Comment Field on: April 12, 2015, 10:40:27 AM

IMHO you should add more details when reporting. For example, if you just add "wrong section" and if mods see any other reports about this topic, they will move to correct section. When they do, your report will go to another mod's queue. When he looks, he mostly likely will mark your report as "bad" as the thread is in correct section and mod won't know whether you made the report when it was in other section.

Borrowed from BadBear's post.

P.S. This wouldn't be a problem if you don't care accuracy rating.

BadBear's post is better than mine:

I don't know if I get you exactly. If it goes from hilariousandco's queue to mprep's, how could the report be handled? Can he know if the report was moved earlier or should he have to look modlog? If modlog is the choice, the limitation of the actions showing will affect, right?

Educated guess. If the report just says "wrong section", and at that point it's in the right section, it's probably going to be marked as a bad report. If it says "move to alt currencies", or "is not bitcoin discussion" then he'll probably know what happened and mark it as handled. It's not exactly an uncommon thing, and the mods are smart folks.

It's part of the reason why people shouldn't stress over percentage points.

OK got it. I care about the accuracy rating and as of now it is 69% when it was 77% earlier. I find abusive comments and just write "Abusive comment" in my report as there is no more explanation to give but when I find something not making sense, I don't get what explanation to give and just write "an off topic/spam post". May be I should now give detailed reports as few of my reports have been already marked bad.
12192  Other / Meta / Re: "THE LIST" on: April 12, 2015, 10:22:44 AM
I have no users in my ignore list but I choose to what post is worth reading and what post is not. I have seen newbies creating threads and themselves replying to that thread. The Wall Observer thread is the best example for the number of spam posts made that the OP has lost track of which posts to delete and which should be retained. I just get irritated with abusive and nonsense comments and report it and the worst thing is that, the comments aren't deleted.  Undecided

Regarding the 99% signature spammers: Count me as one of the 99% then as I prefer being part of the majority than the HIGHLY INTELLIGENT MINORITY MEMBERS. I am not related to NEWTON. I am a Software Engineer myself and even I code but yes, for money as my company pays me for the same.
12193  Other / Meta / Re: Report Comment Field on: April 12, 2015, 10:13:34 AM
I have not seen any character limit in the "report comment field" and mostly my reports consist of a single word or two "Spam". The rest I leave on the moderator to judge the comment and delete it or leave it. It's tough though to write in a single line text box and I need to press the home and end buttons to re-read my reports.

12195  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is the standard rate of BTC for Neteller/Skrill? on: April 11, 2015, 06:30:01 PM
It's mostly 2% from what I have seen the exchangers offering for Skrill to BTC but some members also accept a 1:1 exchange like I have had earlier. Many trusted users take a 5%-10% fee when exchanging with Skrill/Neteller.

If I ask an open question and you reply to it I'll respect your opinion...

"Whatever your religious affiliation, Mary is a great symbol of femininity and spiritual perseverance..."  Smiley

I don't know if you are asking me if I agree or not with this statement. My Avatar shows what I believe in already. Mother Mary was not only the mother of God but a woman whom I respect and love. There are many beliefs and disputes about Mother Mary but no matter what, I love her and she is a lady who is without original sin and is pure in heart.
12197  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Hitleap Is it worth it? on: April 11, 2015, 05:47:26 PM
Most TEs give fake traffic to websites and when I used to advertise my blog, it used to barely receive 20 real hits but show 100 hits for my blog. Hitleap also gives fake traffic and it's not good for advertising.
12198  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Miracles of Bible... on: April 11, 2015, 05:42:24 PM
I don't know about the miracles of the bible or any other religious book in that respect but why people need to make fun of any religion?

Can a religion have a sense of humor?

Every religion has some facts which we agree with or disagree with but we don't have a right to mock a religion just because we don't agree with the facts written in their religious book. It's a sensitive issue and IMO, it's not good to talk about it. If I don't agree with any belief, I won't make fun of it as it leaves a bad taste. It's just my opinion and you may agree to disagree.
12199  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Scam or not? Coinbase offer up to $8500 dollars to small investors on: April 11, 2015, 05:31:40 PM
I did not receive any such email from coinbase and the content looks fraudulent. If it was true then you could log into your coinbase account and check on the website for the investment offer. It's better to report this email to the coinbase support department to get the scammer's account frozen.
