When you tried the newest cgminer did you use the zadig drivers and no -S or -icarus switches?
1222  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Liquid Synergy Designs Inc. -ASIC mining hardware on: September 01, 2013, 04:18:52 AM
In his latest post Yifu said that he was working with some buyers on compensation that was other than a refund.  Perhaps we can get a % rebate off our chips.

First make sure your hub has enough power if you're using one.  Try just plugging it into the computer.
Second use the latest cgminer (3.4?) and the zadig drivers.  There isn't any -S type stuff anymore.
1224  Bitcoin / Armory / Re: Armory - Discussion Thread on: August 30, 2013, 09:16:11 PM
You can also disable armory from running bitcoind itself and run bitcoin-qt separately.
1225  Bitcoin / Armory / Re: Armory - Discussion Thread on: August 30, 2013, 08:31:56 PM
Armory uses bitcoin-qt, so it's the same number.

Partial refund would be nice.
1227  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Liquid Synergy Designs Inc. -ASIC mining hardware on: August 29, 2013, 04:34:00 PM
No refund for me.  I'll go down with the ship, err boat.

I wouldn't trust that IP geolocation to get the exact house.  I think it's just somewhere in the city.

You can trace the coins on blockchain.info

Dont know if it is related but searching is available only once per minute, so better you put the keywords right first time!

You can use google's search as much as you want.  Just add site:bitcointalk.org to your search.
1231  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: my wallets were stolen just now, can any one help me? on: August 27, 2013, 08:20:09 PM
Oh sorry I misunderstood.  I think there was a problem with using it offline with java that gave bad random number generation, but that should be fixed now.  But I use armory to do all my offline transaction generation, so I'm not really up to date on web based methods.

Brainwallets are the worst unless you can come up with a really good passphrase (computer generated)
1233  Economy / Services / Re: 0.4 BTC / month free (Best payouts - NO POSTING NEEDED & Updated :) on: August 25, 2013, 09:58:47 PM
Guess I'll try this out.  I added the inputs.io link to my signature.

Posting to start another month.
1234  Economy / Services / Re: Selling Newly Drawn Spider on: August 25, 2013, 07:23:55 PM
I'll bid only if I can use it as payment for an overdue bill that I have.
I'm not exactly sure what that means, but I'm assuming you would want to use my spider in place of currency to pay off debt.  This is very possible, but you will have to contact the person/company to whom the said dept is owed, attaching the spider that you have purchased.  Then you would state that you will be using the spider in place of payment(This of course would have to happen after you purchased my spider).

I was referring to this:  http://keboch.wordpress.com/2008/11/09/please-accept-this-spider-as-payment/

1236  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Can't boot to my partition where BTC client is located-how do I move my data to on: August 24, 2013, 05:36:44 AM
Now you should backup your wallet.dat to a USB drive and print out your private keys, then put all that in a safe place.
1237  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Liquid Synergy Designs Inc. -ASIC mining hardware on: August 24, 2013, 03:39:57 AM
You could always have him bolt the heatsink and fan onto the board and send it to you then sell it on craigslist in the things no one wants category.
1238  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: FPGA Mining Tutorial? on: August 23, 2013, 07:35:29 PM
I think so, I've never done it, but I can't imagine what else you'd need.
1239  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: FPGA Mining Tutorial? on: August 23, 2013, 06:23:46 PM
The hub's to plug them all into.  Programming them is the hard part.  Check the open source FPGA project.
1240  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: FPGA Mining Tutorial? on: August 23, 2013, 06:19:17 PM
Are they already programmed for bitcoins?  Are they USB?  I think you'll just need a hub and a copy of cgminer.
