Completely forgot -- Just a habbit to "Ask the Bitcoin forum" I suppose

I'm releasing cheaper in bitcoins library and official website I'm looking to release beta by tomorrow how ever I don't beleive I will find the hosting costs for another month as I am broke at the moment. Any Bitcoin Hosting companies looking to sponsor a VPS 512mb ubuntu setup?

I sold my shares at .00001 BTC I assumed this was a scam as going live in March never happened. Is this real? Details?

Cheaper In Bitcoins has been under a lot of redevelopment to fit Bitcoins' economy and it has taken me a long long time to finally be satisfied with what I got this time. Time for Bitcoin to get serwious serious.

Unity is really good and had been on my mind. The only problems i have with it are that not too many people trust downloading new things. I actually single handedly made a Unity3d FPS shooter game and got pretty far the only issues I had was that the bullets didn't shoot correctly and that unity3d dosen't natively support MMO's so we'd have to incorporate some kind of socket server for the game to communicate with -- just some things to think about when choosing an engine.

If I can find a team that is familiar with Unity3d or Jmonkeyengine I would love to get started on the MMO game asap. Monetizing off the game to keep the servers running would be formulated after the game is there and ready to be published.
1227  Bitcoin / Project Development / [ANNOUNCE]Cheaper In Bitcoins Library v0.0.35 on: May 10, 2012, 08:28:41 AM
To start off I'll say that I've re-written the original cheaper in bitcoins website software I don't know how many times(atleast 3) and I seemed to always run in to redundant code that would be almost impossible to keep track of everything to be updated when I wanted to change something or I'd come up with inconvenient and insecure code but for some reason I had reason to believe that if the next time i were to start over and made my software open source that my brain would think a little bit more clearly how a Merchant<>Customer relationship acts and works psychologically and how I should go about incorporating a convenient and intuitive model. Long story short I wrote alot of notes of possible barriers I might run into and the possibiltity that I could possible make $0 from releasing my software opensource and all the research that I did all for nothing. In the end all that i really care is the progression of Bitcoins success and if opensource retailing software will help speed things along then at least I shall have gained in Bitcoin value what I lost in direct cash.

So here it goes, Here is my Cheaper In Bitcoins library. It's designed to be a drag and drop solution for integrating into any website no matter the current in use CMS. This library is not for PHP n00bs or possibly intermediate developers or what some would say "Not for the faint of heart". Atleast until the project gets more footing it will stay with this philosophy. The library comes with a fullfledged secure custom Retail CMS to display and show examples for every possible feature the library pertains of.

1228  Economy / Services / Re: [WTB] Looking for website designer to complete 3 pages and a flash interface. on: May 10, 2012, 07:47:56 AM
If you can supply one page and a flash file for the widget, that would be satisfactory too.

In my opinion, I would make a javascript widget, a lot of people block flash, but javascript isn't blocked as much. Plus flash is dying a slow and painful death and it is going to be phased out.
Either way, I still need graphics..... Like i said everything can be changed I just need graphics. Theres about a billions types technologies the widgets will be made in but every single one will look the same so it dosen't matter how i got about it i just need graphics not suggestions please. Only pm thanks

Full node on every mobile device is not necessary and can't tackle the problem of "Great Firewall" blocking Bitcoin transactions. Another idea is setup full Bitcoin nodes in every major city with satellite internet connectivity.
hehe... satalite...

1234  Economy / Services / [WTB] Looking for website designer to complete 3 pages and a flash interface. on: May 09, 2012, 10:40:12 PM
I'm looking for graphics/web designer to write out 3 pages for the Bitcoinchipin.com website. If you head on over to http://bitcoinchipin.com you'll notice their is a form to fill out. Once this form is filled out it takes you to a generating widget page(where the info is generated of course) once generated it will redirect the user to their widget page where they can copy and paste the HTML code to their website or forum signature.

What I need is the three pages I specified to look really pretty and professional(Trying to compete against chipin.com).
Then I also need a PSD file(which will be used for the flash interface) that I can modify myself to integrate into flash.

At the most you are required to send me PSD files as the receivables -- I will do all the HTML/Flash integrating.

PM me so we can bargin!

1236  Bitcoin / Project Development / 3D MMO mining pool game -- Prototype-Development Phase [Looking for modelers] on: May 07, 2012, 05:59:00 AM
Ive been wanting to build a mining pool game that would be either 2d or 3d. The main plot would be every currency has collapsed on it self and now every player must contribute to te network by mining bitcoins (or working for bitcoins).you can explore the world, drive cars, get married, yada, yada. mostly a game to socialize and virtually mine bitcoins that reflected the real world.
So its really like a social game to invite friends in and teach how bitcoins works with out attending a bitcoin seminar or watch a video that flashes info too quickly to comprehend, but also it would be an adventure game.

So in the beginning there would be basic mining farm building and maintaing and being able to view friends farms , then as the game gains popularity it can be upgraded as it grows to faclitate all the more advanced features i mentioned above. Any one can utilize this idea. Its public domain.

The game should be cross browser compatible, and multiplatform compatible most importantly the games engine should not be ran on a proprietary engine to keep progress going with out waiting on any legal documents to go through. I know some java and would think the a java solution would be best becuase of smart phone and tablet porting would sound like a snap. JMonkeyengine looks good however i have reason to believe its got plenty of bugs still but im most likely just not using java correctly. Anyways consider this free discussion im just laying down a foundation for a point we can all start from. So whats your two cents?

everything below this line will be the specs decided on the game -- everything above this line is to keep the history of this thread making sense

Game Engine of choice: Unity3d | Found at http://unity3d.com
Game Type: Undecided, First person, Third-person.
Game Plot: You are a protagonist that is awaking in a world were political and greedy powers have ruled the world in the mist of their greed of political decisions they forgot that what goes up, must come down... and so the entire economy of every colony collapsed and when the dust settled Bitcoin was still their running on solar powered panels so the debt was dropped to zero for everyone and now each individual must work their way up to provide for them selves(and for some their families as well!)

1237  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Bitcoin Price Adjuster for Wordpress on: May 07, 2012, 12:20:52 AM
Now that i think about it all you need is a cronjob that would update prices but then youd need to display the calcualted value instead of the quried value.... Drat another thing i dunno how to do on wordpress
1238  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Bitcoin Price Adjuster for Wordpress on: May 07, 2012, 12:15:52 AM
My CheaperInBitcoins library will have functions to update the btc<>usd prices. If someone knew word press enough all theyd have to do is just change the line of code from the wp ecommerce plugin that queries for prices. It would beat having to mess with the wp plugin too much and breaking it(maybe its easier then im thinking idk i dont use wordpress that much).

Or you could also use my library as an ecommernce cms on its own right. The library is operational. Im still adding features and helpfull bitcoin merchant managing functions. Should be finished within 5days. Here is the link.

well you seem to know him pretty well, do you think it's safe to entrust him with my ssn, because he asked for it and i gave it. i'm not too happy about it either...

Well contrary to belief ssn arnt as secrect as we think they are. However they are secret enough to be a reliable number to give someone a legal identity and steal your identity (which you may have already known) would i give matt my social security number? Depends on what it was required for. I trust matt wont do anything to your identity or illegal with your ssn. But i personally would have went with a scanning a utility bill along with a black and white copy of your drivers license. But i trust NO ONE no matter how much good will theyve brought towards me so consider all this advice from a constant skeptic with an empty cup.
