Is it better to blow 5 grand on the supposed november shipping for KNC or to order the PCI-e Butterfly labs item? Considering how long it took butterfly labs, then i haven't seen or heard of a working KNC miner, it leaves me uneasy to invest. Last time i used the wait and see approach, it worked, didn't order and i used that money to make more from scrypt clones.

i get stake everyday, here is the trick, buy a good few thou evryday for a week, make sure the deposits in your account are 24 hours apart, then every day after your two weeks, you will get stake. and the more yu buy/hold, the greater you gain. even beeter if you have a couple of pcs, do tx out and in so your share doesn't get truncated.
200k per wallet solid makes you a milli err stake.

[It's not a bad quantity to be sitting on at the moment. 124K is ~0.91% of all coins in existence as I type this although that percentage will go down for as long as PoS is generating more coins than it should.
Make them work for you and stake them, get as many coins as you can from your 124K before the new wallet is released and cryptsy updates to it.
It seems CENTs hit the bottom and their price started to rise, I wish it comes back to initial 100xhigher price. all it takes is a 500 ltc buy in , after that it wont ever look back |

Noirbits is a clone i made a small while ago, see here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=226903.0. Then in an i'll advised move, some guy took it over https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=270264.0, either way i made it as a community coin but now i am getting the paperwork through to begin trying to attract investors. In the works is NoirTokens, a cpu only POS coin that will encourage energy saving and keeping your node up and mining. Noirbits and Noirtokens will be the main currency for Noirbank, which i hope to have running efficiently in 3-6 months. I'm not rushing this, i want to be sure that everything works, there will be a private then open beta in the next two months. The online shop will start off small, but it will have physical coins and part of my art collection as a start. If it gains traction hopefully we can see investors and sellers taking an interest. Noirbank will fall under my Umbrella company until it has enough investors and money behind it to maybe try IPO, since it's based on a community coin, it would only make sense to have it publicly owned once it can stand on it's own two feet. |

k, i'm about a month away from clearing all red tape, the coins will b in denoms of 50, 100 , 1000 & 10k. i think each would be best traded for Noirbits Plus a lil for the shipping. Better yet, when i get the banking software to work, you can just purchase them from the online store, online purchases will have free shipping to encourage use of the bank and shop.

I think POS coins that generate relative interest are the future. CENT had a bug, but it got me thinking, GPU mining is becoming less profitable and people are becoming energy conscious. Promoting CPU mined POS coins may very well be the next step.
1) Everyone has a CPU
2) CPU mined coins allow far much more playing with code
3) Energy efficient
3) The POS enables those without large bots to join in by buying and sitting on them
Unlike in the case of CENT , i'd suggest playing with different methods of calculating Stake.
To that end i am thinking of making a clone that encompasses these values. We've tested POW and played with it, i think POS is next in line.
Specs will most likely be
2 minute blocks
scrypt-jane starting with high nfactor, maybe a week max will be GPU mineable.
10% stake, per week.
Max POW coins = 1 mill
POS max = 25 mill
1 coin per block
Before you start ranting about botnets, please consider that i can build a decent machine with an i5 processor @ the price of each of a 7950
or bulk buy used Quad-core Pcs @ 83 bucks a pop

i'd like to know
1) how to change what percentage POS uses from my balance.
2) does it generate based on chain start time or based on the length of time i've held the coins.
3) Is POS CPU only or does GPU push the process along
4)why does stake percentage vary? i had two wallets with similar amounts but they gained different stake
5) say stake generates @ 2 months, do i need to keep my client running, or only start it when i'm close to two months?

I would disagree, it depends on some strange algorithm and piggy-fairy herself, in the first week I got 4xmore but in the second week only 1/8 (yesterday she gave me only 1/8). but in the end I have less money (if counted in bitcoin) becuase first piggies I bought for 0.00022000, then some for 0.00011000 and since that time price fell down and if I sell all my piggies I get only 0.2 btc but I invested more than 1 bitcoin. So I am holding and waiting when price reach 0.00022000 again. I am going to buy more piggies because now they are very cheap and I want to lure my piggy-fairy back, maybe piggy-fairy gives you more piggies in case you have many fresh new piggies. Thats why I am mining 24/7 with all my 3 computers. hehe, yes the piggy-fairy has favorites, i think i'm on the naughty list this week. piggy fairy showed her back to me. I put half of my CENTs (during several days, not in one payment) to new piggybank on 12.9. to another computer and 12 days passed and any single penny from piggy-fairy (exccept several mined cents) fairy is really weird, how can I lure her to my computer. buy some flowers maybe?? i've split myn between 5 wallets, last night she finally forgave me x7 what i had saved up. so... i guess patience works, wait till u are at 15 days |
