943  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Banned in Russia on: February 08, 2014, 03:49:44 PM
Russia was always strict, against innovation (if it wasn't military), and had no respect for human rights. Don't expect bitcoin support from them, they are not far from North Korea with this.
You protest against anything, they will beat it out of you.

don't paint it in such a biased light. In each society there are acceptable things and unacceptable things, nothing is always as it seems on the surface. They oppress that which they perceive to be a threat, military economic and moral. you cannot expect each different country to be the same. If you've had experience in different countries and really studied the situation you'll find that in most democracies, the laws put in place and enforced where made necessary by some events prior. As for human rights, there are few countries that actually follow them to the letter, least of all the top 20 powers of the world.
944  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Genesis hash Record times on: February 08, 2014, 10:58:53 AM

945  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Banned in Russia on: February 08, 2014, 10:41:40 AM
I think a bigger question is if any laws in russia can be enforced at all. :-/

very swiftly and decisively, they will shut down a lot of stuff in a few hours once the go ahead is given. If they feel it is a threat, it will be terminated with extreme prejudice on an almost military scale.

It's been a month since i made a withdrawal request and i have not received my money. I've opened several tickets with no response. My tickets have all been merged into one #LDQ-944-78555 yet you have not responded to them.

Does this have anything to do with your legal problems?

We can not find a ticket with the number "LDQ-944-78555" check whether the right number is specified.

#LQD-944-78555 , any updates?
947  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Noirbits TAKEOVER ! Update v2.2.5.0 - fixes sync issue on: February 06, 2014, 02:25:42 PM
http://noirbitstalk.org/index.php?board=3.0

please refer to the noibitstalk site for all updates. this forum is flooded and i'd prefer the clean, quiet and focused environment we have there. while you can continue to discuss issues here, please do not expect a response from me, all NRB, NRS,  NoirBank and NoirEx is better off discussed on our own forum.

to those who feel i have been slow, you are right, i am taking my time, but it is the only way i can offer quality service.
948  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Noirbits Update required Improved algos !!!! on: February 06, 2014, 02:21:17 PM
http://noirbitstalk.org/index.php?board=3.0 this will be the last time i post in this thread, i will be moving all noirbits related stuff altogether away from this forum, it has become congested and since NRB has come back under my wing, it deserves it's own space.

Noirshares will be launched soon and only active forum members will be part of the giveaway.

951  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Open Transactions Server: Asset/Bond/Commodity/Cryptocoin/Deed/Share/Stock Exch. on: February 05, 2014, 04:51:57 PM
Also, some servers have the "usage tokens" system enabled, thus will require you to obtain usage tokens" before you can actually do anything on them.

They really ought even to not let you register a nym until you have first made arrangement to have "usage tokens sitting on the server waiting for precisely that nym to try to register...

Any nyms lurking around that would like some free "usage tokens" ?

The idea behind bitNicKeLs was that they would be used to nickel-and-dime people to death, or at least to squeeze a few nickels out of them, so the plan was that eventually the "usage tokens" on the Digitalis server would be sold for bitNicKeLs, but right now, limited time offer, holiday special and all that, a few people lucky enough to get an Open Transactions client for Christmas and get it up and running can get some free...

i have interest in this. is there a guide on how to deploy server ?

Why do you continue to merge tickets without responding? I made a withdrawal request 3 weeks ago, no responses and no money. Why don't you just credit the money back into accounts if you are failing to process the withdrawal?

BTC-E IT HAS BEEN 22 DAYS SINCE I MADE  A WITHDRAWAL AND I AM YET TO RECEIVE MY MONEY, YOU CONTINUE TO MERGE AND DELETE MY TICKETS WITHOUT RESPONSE.  WHY DO YOU DELAY AND DODGE? THIS IS UNPROFESSIONAL AND STARTING TO BECOME A NUISANCE. YOU HAVE ASKED FOR SCREENSHOTS AND DETAILS WHICH I PROVIDED WEEKS AGO WITH NO RESPONSE STILL.

RESOLVE THIS ISSUE.

Hi,

Is there anyway to sue them even im on other country?

Still no response on my ticket or any updates. Its been more than a month since i deposited. I really feel im scammed.

Thanks,

Mike

Doesn't matter where you from... they're based in UK/EU, so they're under UK/EU laws. I'm sure there is an office/court which will deal with them. Just check on the google. And it would be good if more people do that togaher Wink

Bulgaria not UK
960  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][ONC] Onecoin - CPU only - Pools opened! on: January 19, 2014, 05:08:58 AM
Yeah was a very fair release with a very good dev.  However the decimal places proved to be an issue.

The One Coin is a very nice concept though and most people would like a bit for their crypto portfolio.   I didn't know you  could still mine it.

I asked the dev why it need to have 18 decimal places, since 42 does not. However it seems 42 will need to have 18 in the future.

i could modify the code to fix that, remove tx fees. and make it rounder but who will support it?

The block reward is still 0.0000005 and won't halve for another 3 years, could survive just fine with no transaction fees for now.

And unless the network gets uber-fuckhuge, most miners shouldn't have an issue with accumulating at least 0.00000001 quickly enough to be able to transfer it to market.

Only issue I could see is past miners who happen to have an odd amount of onecoin not being happy with you rounding away the last 10 decimal places worth of their coins.  Seeing as this coin was never traded much and never hit an exchange, that has to be a relatively low amount of miners though.  I don't know coding, but perhaps can you modify the client so you can only send and receive coins with a precision of 8 decimal places for now, but be sure the scraps in the last 10 decimal places simply remain locked up until a later date when it is feasible to switch back to 18 decimal places?

i'll think on it, but someone else will have to support, my plate is full.
