Looking at Group F seems interesting. Although I am sure that many people will predict Belgium and Croatia who will qualify for the next round. But remember Canada and Maroko also have good players. The Canada team will be with Alphonso Davies, Jonathan David, Tajon Cuhanan while Maroko Hakim Ziyech, Archaf Hakimi, Noussair Mazraoui, Youssef En-Nesyri. I think these two countries have a chance to make it difficult for Croatia and Belgium because Belgium and Croatia are currently filled with a lot of old players. Mere looking at the countries in group F, there's no single doubt that Belgium and Croatia will qualify in the group but hopefully it's not going to be an easy fight for the both countries. There's still Canada which have quality set of players that are hungered to represent their countries in the world cup. But Belgium and Croatia have set of experience players who also have a master plan of playing high level games, they will easily beat their opponents to the next round. The biggest problem for Croatia is that they tend to play lousy against weaker teams and good against stronger teams. Also they often play badly in the first games and then as the tournament progress, they play better and better. We will see how matches against Morocco and Canada because there are only three matches in the group stage and one bad match can prove to be a problem in the end. Bayern could have a good mentality, but we have seen last year that the mentality they have doesn't really change anything when it comes to win or go home games. Sometimes they can win it all, sometimes they can lose to easy teams, which means that they are not doing that amazingly when it comes to elimination or at the very least, we could say they are not doing that consistently, and they could be amazing or terrible and we do not know which one it will be.
This year they look fine, but we have to wait and see what happens, plus the games will be way down the line, we have world cup first, then some league, and only after that teams will play their UCL games so we have time.

When you think about it in long term, do not think about it just 3 years, think about it in 30 years, does that still look small to you? It is time for Tottenham to start winning again. Leeds are not a serious opponent for them. They have a big dominance against Leeds in their recent head-to-head games. I know that Leeds beat Liverpool away not much time ago. But it is really difficult for them to do this again versus a big team like Tottenham as well.

Dortmund's performance shouldn't be much surprising to tell the truth. Because they don't change their usual game plan and this prevents them from being more ambitious for the league title. This season would be another one which they don't make any trouble for Bayern Munich on the road going to the championship without doubt.

It is a good improvement for Juventus but they must keep it up. They have only 2 points less than two above clubs: AC Milan and Atalanta but they also have only 2 points more than AS Roma that stands at the 7th position. Graham potter was a great choice was what i heard often when he first joined the club and Chelsea were enjoying consecutive wins. Chelsea has now lost consecutively and all of a sudden everyone is talking about letting go of a coach that just joined them. I will not be quick to conclude that the coach is not good for the team, just that he needs a little more time to settle in with the players, understand and know that he is now the coach of one of the biggest teams in England and needs to be more tactical, and during the transfer window in January get some more players of his choice and choosing. He’s a good coach, no doubt. When one or two players are out of form, it is understandable. But when the whole team is not in form, then the managers tactics needs to be questioned. Chelsea has a manager who has no "wit" tactical approach toward games. The confidence level of the team is being crushed by these defeats. What he fails to understand is that, the players available aren’t suitable for the system he wants to deploy. Find a balance system to make them function till when you can bring in new players. I don’t know how many of you’ll actually studied his past, because he’s not a short term fix but given time he’s showed that he can bring results hence Chelsea board won’t fire him unless they end up losing way too many matches. In my opinion, Messi does not show anything special this season (but compared to the disastrous last season, he certainly performs better). Neymar, in my opinion, performs more brigtly and this is reflected in his statistics. Pakistan cricket board along with the government will give the best security. Whenever there is a schedule between India and Pakistan, the same will be promoted in all possible means. Look at today's match, the ground is full. The host nation is Australia and for its match we can't expect the same crowd. For the betterment of Pakistan cricket, they are in need of hosting Asia Cup. The discussion will not come to an end, and Pakistan won't be hosting the league.
In the end, it comes to security. If countries such as England and Australia are ready to visit Pakistan, then India can't give any excuse other than the lack of permission to do so from the central government. PCB will be in a dilemma. If India doesn't visit Pakistan, then the TV revenues and sponsorship will go down. PCB needs the support from smaller boards and then they should approach the ICC. If BCCI refuses to visit Pakistan, then the latter should claim reimbursement of the losses from the Indians. this reminds me of Pakistan and NZ match which was supposed to be played in Pakistan - but NZ left the ground that they have security concerns. Many Pakistani believe that there are external forces which don't want to see a stable Pakistan. And they don't want to see Pakistan pressing. Today is the big day for the Team Pakistan. We have finally come to a place where the motive should be to lift the cup. Forget about the uncertainty we face in qualifying for this place and also the form of the opening pair, Today is a new day and a new match and we can do it.
Yes, We can win today and make it to the finals. The whole Pakistani nation's prayers are with the national Hero's and we love them Well.. all the best for today's match. Pakistan has some of the best T20 players, such as Babar Azam and Shaheen Shah Afridi. If they play their natural game, then they should be able to win the match. But toss will be having a big impact on the match, which will be played at the SCG. So far 5 out of the 6 matches played at this ground was won by teams batting first. And remember that New Zealand do have some very explosive batsmen. And there is indication that today's pitch is a batting friendly one. Both the teams have good romance of having matches in ICC events semifinals and three times Pakistan beats New Zealand which is surely good achievement, but I never forget the match when I was personally cry for Martin Crow because he was at his best and play an amazing game but sadly due to injury he calls runner, and he run out which cost them this match and exit from World Cup 1992 my school days memories and still love these days, but now things are change drastically as money is too much involved and game completely change due to poor management of ICC we have too many controversies and bad things which are killing this game. If we consider the statistics of this World Cup, we can see that New Zealand's batting and bowling lineup is in great form. But New Zealand will never take Pakistan lightly. Because Pakistan's opening pair is very formidable and strong. Of course Ken Williamson will want to break Pakistan's opening pair soon. I think if they can score 160 in this match, Obaya team will have a chance to win. Because the bowling lineup of both teams is very strong. Some things, like injuries, you can't plan or prevent, it just happen.
We already have a long list of football players who will not be able to participate in the World Cup due to injuries. The case of Pogba is certainly the most famous, but not the only one.
Messi is an extremely important football player for the Argentine team, their best player and leader, and if he has problems with injury, the coach will surely keep him for more important matches at the World Cup.
It would be a real tragedy if, due to an injury, Messi misses his last chance to become a world champion with the Argentine national team.
Yeah, you just have to be prepared for the worst. It's so weird to me to read that people are disappointed with Đoković after losing the 3rd set in a final of an ATP1000 tournament against a certain top5 future player.
Đoković is 35 years old, it's so impressive on so many levels that he's still here fighting for trophies. What he, Federer and Nadal have done has somehow distorted our realities.
Rune played really well, deserved his win and showed once again that he's the future of tennis.
Yeah, same here, I'm not disappointed by the result, Rune has been playing good not just in this tournament, but in the last couple that he is in. It just so happen that he has to face Djokovic, and we may have seen this version of Djokovic before, mentality prepared, winning the first set. But Rune has improved a lot and really be the future of tennis with Alcaraz. So another break out win for him, and I will not be surprised that this will not be his last. For Djokovic, a good maybe2-3 years that he can still play, nevertheless, the young guys are taking over now. I think Djokovic has lost a bit of his stamina. Dropping out of the game for the vaccination story might not have done them only well. There is also this damage of the idea that Djoovic is invincible. He used to be that and his opponents lost their own belief during the games, but it is not that way anymore. Players like Rune or Alcaraz know that they will get their chance during the game and that Djokovic will make mistakes at some point, which for quite some time actually didn't happen and it was almost creepy to see Djokovic return impossible shots. In certain situations players benefit a lot from how they are perceived by their opponents and this perception actually changed. While everyone would have bet on Djokovic in essentially every single game, many would now risk a bet more and more often on his opponents. @temple I’m one of those people who was disappointed with Djokovic, because he has set the bar high and whenever he fails to reach those standards then it’s normal for people like me to be upset. Furthermore Rune can’t let this victory get to his head, and now he has to work even harder and win more matches against big stars otherwise people will claim that he won by fluke. |
