12242  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Gyft Co-Founder: Credit Card Spending Now Outpacing Bitcoin on: September 01, 2015, 06:34:54 PM
When digital card platform Gyft first integrated bitcoin payments, they accounted for 90% of the company's sales, with PayPal and credit cards making up the remaining 10%, but this has all changed, according to the firm's co-founder and CEO Vinny Lingham.

The California-based company, acquired by First Data in 2014, integrated bitcoin payments in 2013 and initially saw a trend for this payment method, but this has since reversed – PayPal and credit card purchases now account for 90% of sales. Regardless, Lingham continues to be fascinated by bitcoin.

In fact, it's fair to say his personal fascination with the digital currency led to Gyft offering it as a payment option in the first place.

Article : http://www.coindesk.com/gyft-co-founder-bitcoin-payments-have-decreased-by-80/

So what do you guys think was the reason behind this ? I mean we all know gyft and how used it is but I didn't expect this to be honest , I thought most of the users there are bitcoiners
12243  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Beware of PayPal and other reversible transfer services on: September 01, 2015, 04:31:44 PM
hi fellow BTC'ers....I have been seeing these listings on cyrptothrift where you send $333.00btc for $500 paypal my cash......anyone have experience w/this service?  What is the catch?? Is there any success on this ever??  I mean, the seller has a very high rating

https://cryptothrift.com/auctions/gift-cards/500-paypal-mycash-cards-special-offer-for-339-99-only-167826/

It's seems too good to be true honestly , I'd suggest and recommend to watch out . It could be carded and may get revoked or something .
alot of people already got scammed in Cryptothrift before so don't think he can't scam you (Social engeeniring )
12244  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: how do people sell things in digital goods section with very cheep prices ? on: September 01, 2015, 11:52:03 AM
lots of things in digital goods sections is very cheep
thing for 10$ you found it for only 1$
and they are not scammers because they usually accept escorw
how do they sell things with that price ?
are they hacked things or stolen ?
or cheating methods ?
or what Huh

Depends , if you see cheap Spotify , Netflix , Origin , Steam accounts and people sell them in bulk then yes most of them are cracked which means they don't actually own them but stolen .
If you see gift cards (usually Starbucks giftcards) with so cheap price you should know that they are carded (bought using stolen credit card) , same goes for VPS if they are too cheap and in bulk then they are most likely cracked , So you should use your brain that's all Grin
12245  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Electrum 2.4 binaries on: September 01, 2015, 09:08:54 AM
Helo

When I recieve payment on my BTC account am I have to do anything or is it simpli arrives? Just because I will get my first payment and I don't know if he send it to my account it will appears or I have to do something to get it?

Thanks

If the sender really send it then it simply arrives within few seconds (It's recommended to wait few confirmations before give the product to the buyer or whatever) , as you can see here (that's the mac version but it's same thing for Electrum windows)  :

So you head to "Receive" tab and copy "receiving" adress and give it to the sender so he send you BTC , when he send the "Balance" cell should show how much that adress has received  , also on the Bottom left you should see your total balance .
12246  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Beware of PayPal and other reversible transfer services on: September 01, 2015, 09:05:13 AM
sir where can i buy bit coin via paypal? do you have any idea on where the site for buying bitcoins???

Yes there is Virwox.com which you can buy Bitcoins using your Paypal account , Credit card , Skrill , Paysafecard , Ukash and a lot of other payment methods that they are not accepted else where .
If you want lower fees then you check the currency exchange (this section) and trade with people (they are not going first with you because you are a Newbie) so the website may be a better choice .
12247  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Recommend me a template on: September 01, 2015, 07:41:55 AM

WooCommerce is WordPress plugin and they have bitcoin on it as far as I know , for what comes to the templates check this out : http://themeforest.net/category/wordpress/ecommerce/woocommerce , It's just so you get an idea about the templates and search for them , most of them are probably leaked anyway .

12251  Economy / Trading Discussion / Paysafecard with Virwox.com ? on: August 31, 2015, 06:35:17 PM
Honestly I'am not from Europe so I don't really use Paysafecard (at least not that much) but once I used them on a forum to buy their forum currency ...

So I changed my IP using a VPN to an Europeen country and a friend of mine gave me Paysafecard 16-digit  in exchange of Paypal , and when I want to process the payment on that forum it just asked me for the 16 digits code however ... now when I try to use Virwox.com it asks me to login on my Paysafecard only and I can't type simply the code , so anyone know what I can do exactly to simply type the 16-digit code instead of logging in into the account ?

Why not make an account ? I simply can't because It asks me for a europeen phone number and all those in internet that give you SMS access etc .. are used since we all know how Paysafecard is famous .
12252  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: BlockTrail.com | Bitcoin API | Block Explorer | Web Wallet on: August 31, 2015, 04:38:27 PM

12254  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Electrum 2.4 binaries on: August 31, 2015, 01:09:09 PM
Seems like the 2.5 version has been released (at least the Change log) but I can't seem to understand this part , if anyone could explain it with simple explanation wi thout technical terms  :
Quote
All electrum windows are now part of the same process.  When starting
a new GUI electrum instance, that instance starts a daemon if there is
none running.  Otherwise it connects to the running daemon and sends the
it information to open a window in the daemon's process, and the new
   instance then terminates.

12255  Economy / Services / Re: FortuneJack Twitter Campaign! Earn Up to 0.12 BTC per Month! on: August 31, 2015, 12:40:51 PM
I won't lie to you honestly , I could get my account into this compaign if I put some Addmefast followers into my account  , are they counted as bots or real people ?? AddMeFast it's an exchange platform so it's not really fake people so let me know if I could do that or not .
Also how are you planning to know if the followers of people are real or not ?  Huh  Huh
12256  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Selling question! on: August 31, 2015, 11:22:56 AM
Ok so selling Spotify ACCOUNTS is forbiden as well selling Account Xy as well mostly!

So basicly Anyone here would be a scammer!

Who told you that selling spotify accounts are forbeidden ? If you are selling premium accounts for so cheap like in bulk for 1$ or something like that then people should use their brains here and know it's Cracked accounts which means you don't own them and you will end up with negative trust aswell .
If you want to sell this kind of stuff you may wanna go to HackForums , LeakForums , Nulled.io etc ...
12257  Economy / Digital goods / Re: [WTB] Vultr VCC on: August 31, 2015, 09:14:02 AM
I have VCCs that work with pretty much anything.

$1 VCC is $5 bitcoin. PM me if interested.

That's pretty expensive for something that I will use for 1 second only , also "pretty much anything" won't convince me .
If you could post proove that you used it on Vultr then I will consider taking it , otherwise no thanks.

I'm not going to spend my time trying it on Vultr for the mere profits it brings. My VCCs are from a real EU bank and don't come free. But they can be used in places that don't accept any other prepaid cards, so I'm sure it will work anywhere.

But good luck and I hope you find what you are looking for!

Yes you are sure of something that you didn't test and I'am not willing to buy that .
I'am still selling guys , please contact me or post here (only contact me if you tested on Vultr , otherwise don't bother because I'am not going first at all )
12258  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Selling question! on: August 31, 2015, 09:02:35 AM
You can not buy Msdn accounts so how i would carding it

I was always wondering how people get those accounts , don't you guys buy Subscriptions or something ? Even if not ..; you could buy the keys from a website or someone else using a stolen credit card and you are re-selling them for BTC and of course you claim that they are from Microsoft them selfs and in case they got recovered .
12259  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Selling question! on: August 31, 2015, 08:51:29 AM
Thanks @ Ranlo for this information but what if i say in the TOS that they key would be disabled by microsoft?

So i did not lied and would not earn neg trust since i warned people before the purchase?

Yes that will most likely do the job , still .. if someone suspect that those accounts you are using to get the keys are carded (made using stolen credit cards) then you will get negative trust and also make sure to write that in bold so people really see it .
12260  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2015-08-31] ekmPowershop became the first e-commerce provider to accept bitcoin on: August 31, 2015, 08:41:05 AM
I'am not saying it's a bad thing however I don't understand how those people think honestly ... I mean they didn't accept Bitcoin in the last 6 years and they start now when we are in the middle of the XT Drama etc ...?  Huh
